Welcome Blue and Mary Ellen!! Tanis... sorry that that happened to you...Actually you are an inspiration to me seeing you so close to your ultimate goal. I realize how difficult it is the closer you get to your goal. We are ready to celebrate your success so lets buckle down and get this done!!!
Lyssa abd Debbie...thank you so much for all your support and motivation. Melinda, Nyssa, Lyssa and Natalie...you rocked this week, great job!!! Jen, Crystal and Christine and others (sorry running out of time)...I enjoy reading your posts. Annia... you have done an awesome job as well. I think we have a good team a little bit of everything which keeps it interesting as well as motivating so let's focus this week and show the other teams what we are really made of...

Ok Wow what a lot of info on last three pages...it really got me thinking. I felt like crying when I read your post Lyssa...I don't mean anything bad by that at all it was a good thing. It made me rethink what I have been doing the last few months and have I really been giving this my all? No I have not...really I don't even think I have given 50% to my own weight loss. I'm great at cheering everyone on but not so good at believing in myself and giving myself the motivation I need. But Lyssa put a new spin on things for me...I need to recommit to myself and to my team. Reading your e-mail should not have made me sad if I was doing the best I could do but I'm not so that was eye opening for me.

So this week my goals are to recommit to myself to the battle ahead. I'm worth it...my family is worth it...I need to get healthy so I can be the best I can be for my boys and my husband. Right now taking a walk is an effort and it should not be like that. I could list a 100 other things like eating right...drinking my water, doing my exercise, keeping my journal but I think if I simply recommit to myself and this team everything else will follow.

Sorry for the long post. I was also wondering would anyone like to hook up and be an accountability buddy with me. I need someone that logs on everyday that I can just e-mail with how I'm feeling what I m eating how I did exercise wise and so on and so forth and that person can do the same with me. It think it would really help me stay motivated for someone to keep tabs on me and vise a versa. lol Lyssa I think changing the team name to Mvp would be cool and we could pick like the top three people or something everyweek for the mvp award...and one person at the end of evey month that lost the most weight. Maybe once a month the person that lost the most weight we could send them a little trinket in the mail a personalized card or a small gift. We could take turns being the one to send out the gift on a monthly basis just something fun that does not cost much. What do you guys think?

Ok I've taken up enough of everyones time. Just wanted to say I'm going to do this whos coming with me.

Hey Jenn Im with you!! And I think you have an excellent idea about the trinket or something. It could be anything from some smell good lotion (summer's coming and I think for us women we all love that) to anything small. Maybe somehow we could write down a few of our favorite "small things"

Great idea Jenn!!
Well I am off to the park with my family. I will be back in a little while. Gotta get some miles in!!

hi hot rods,
sorry I have been missing, I got called away unexpectedly for a couple of days, my weight stayed the same this week. I haven't been here at the forum hardly at all this week, I really am dealing with some pretty major, unavoidable stuff at work that will spill over into the next 2 weeks so I may not be here everyday, I will do my best though.
my goals this week are:
to get back on the treadmill every day this week
to stick to my food plan!!
to lose 3lbs

Thumbs up Re: Hot Rods 50 - This could be it...reinvention in process

Hi all, I wish I'd known about this sooner as I lost 8lbs this week (before signing up) - First week so obviously not to be repeated again but I'll follow the same eating plan this week (and probably put 6lbs on this time! )
Good luck!!
