Wow Tatiana that is great!!! I knew I had to get the10 miles done yesterday. I knew you would too, but you blew me away. Great job. I saw a farmers market on the way to the park but the line up for getting in was crazy so we didn't go.

I had a little adventure, a mini vacation - traveled by bus and explored places on foot. I challenged myself to walk everywhere and leave a car at home. And with gas prices it was surely the winner!

I now want to travel by bus more to small quaint towns and see what's out there. You only need a ticket, a backpack, some water, snacks, a map, and do some research before you go.

Zina, your ticker is moving fast. How many miles are you planning on walking today? Let's do at least 6 or 7. I am not sure I can do 10 today. Too sore.

I agree with you on the gas prices. It is $4.10 here a gallon. I will try to get atleast 7 miles in today. I have to clean my back porch. Spring clean out. I have put it off too long. Today is is suppose to be the warmest day this weekend for us.

Zina, I can't wait for you to finish this challenge.

I have been thinking about another challenge. We can call it "Serious walkers get the walk done." How about we challenge to walk without a fail 5 miles a day for three weeks? It would be 105 miles only. But you have to get 5 miles in every day. If you miss, you have to make up the next day plus the usual 5 miles. You would only have one day to make up or you have to up the miles for the next two days to 7.

I know it sounds complicated but it would keep us moving if we don't want to make up miles or even increase daily mileage.

It would be a short challenge but motivating and sweet. Let me know what you think. And I would love to hear from others as well. The days are getting longer and we can use some extra daytime for more walking. Also we can challenge ourselves to walk rather than drive and save money on gas.

This sounds like a good idea. I have 53 miles to do for this challenge. I want to reach goal miles this week. When are you starting the other challenge? I think I am ready to up the challenge's. You are right the days are longer and it's getting warmer outside. Let me know when you want to start this.

As soon as you finish your challenge Zina we can start another one. Also, we might want to wait for other people to finish their walking so summer challenge so they would be able to join as well.

Zina, you are very close to finishing. I will be waiting for you cheering you up.
Annia, great job and I know how sick you were and also your mother. Good job on walking!

Yes, I walked 7 miles yesterday, mostly with my husband. Walked 4 miles today already. My trainer did not show up so I used the time to walk on a treadmill. My total is 337 miles. Go me.
