I asked if anyone saw this show on a different forum, but nobody answered. You should try to watch a new show on TLC: I Can Make You Thin: With Paul McKenna
A lot of the first show was common sense stuff that we all know, but it's good to hear it again. Here's the site:
I Can Make You Thin : TLC

Ok...to finish what I started, today was a weird day. I had today off to go to my husband's doctor's appointment. (Eating healthy is so much easier at work because I have to eat what I bring to school.) He is seeing a neurologist to get shots in his back for pain. The doctor is an hour away so my eating got all messed up not being on a schedule.

And, Debbie, just like I said this morning, I may need you to console my eating habits soon, well I didn't think this soon! I missed lunch because I was in the waiting room so I at a granola bar that was in my purse. We went out for an early supper and of course I didn't choose very well. I had a bacon pepper jack burger and fries. My plan was to eat half and take the rest home. On the I Can Make You Thin show, he suggested before even eating putting half in a to-go box. That was the plan, then when the waiter was at our table I forgot about the box. We got our meal and I told myself to just have half. I cut my burger and was planning on it and then I just kept eating. I was full, but since my husband was not done, I mindlessly kept eating. I'll have to try better tomorrow!

Cathy...I have heard of doing that before also. With the to go box thing. I can never do it. And then I always tell myself to only eat half. HA! Yeah right.

And to everyone that keeps eating lunch for breakfast. I watched tv one time and that's how someone lost like a hundred pounds. She just one day started to reverse it and would eat chicken/fish/protein for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. Worked for her. Don't think its for me tho. I love my eggos and cereal/fruit in the morning!

Hi Debbie!

PS. I'm irritated w/ my roommmate for not picking up a case of water today! I'm a water snob and I'm extremely parched right now! :-D

Wed: 3/19
Breakfast: banana and water
Lunch: chicken breast sandwich and green beans and water
Supper: burritos...a new recipe. It's called cool lime burritos. They look great. Yummy veggie corn/bean/cilantro filler and I'm just heating up half pork and half beef for the meat. I'm sure this would be good on a salad or Debbie, you could eat it meatless. If anyone wants the recipe, email me.

I'm off to a playoff high school basketball game. I'll try to stay away from the snacks.....we'll see how it goes.

So I haven't done so well today. A little upsetting but that's okay. At least I didn't eat that pack of reeses cups I wanted. Ugh. So here goes:

Breakfast: 3/4 cups LIFE cereal w/ 1/2 cup skim milk. 6 strawberries.
Snack: banana
Lunch: chicken cheese quesadilla. But I made it myself--1 light wheat tortilla. 1/4 cup light cheese. 1/4 cup diced chicken breast. 1 tbsp ff sour cream. 2 ounce FF Pringles. 1 ff sugar free pudding cup.
Dinner: 1 cup pasta noodles. lots of asparagus. 1/4 cup diced chicken breast.
Snack: 3/4 cup LIFE cereal w/ 1/2 cup skim milk.

I've drank 4 bottles of water today which isn't nearly as much as I usually drink and my roommate still hasn't bought water yet. I refuse. I'm trying to prove a point! AND I hope I'm done eating for the evening but Debbie, like you, I am a snacker! Especially in the evening time. Will power. I have it, right???

Hope everyone had a good day today! It's Thursday tomorrow. That's one day closer to the weekend.
