He is 6 and in the 1st grade. I will tell you school is just not the same as it used to be. They have almost no playtime at all. And they are pushed so hard. The teacher was saying yesterday she feels they have sucked the life out of kindergarten and first grade. Some kids do ok being pushed but some kids just don't do well at all. Luckily, my son makes very good grades but he has a problem being quiet and being still and he likes being the class clown. Which has been our main issue this year until yesterday. Whats funny I just got an email from Austin's teacher she talked to the little girl and Austin this morning. And come to find out she likes him and was just doing what little girls do aggravating little boys they like. But she called him stupid and I guess that hit a nerve with him. But she told the teacher this morning she thinks hes cute. How funny is that??!!

I got in my 45 mins of cardio and 20 mins of weights today.

I also fear the day my son is in school. He is 2 1/2 and is a handful for sure!

Tasha, I don't know how you get it done in the morning! I'll be getting in 45-60 after lunch and hopefully some weights in the late afternoon.

Diane, I send my 8 year old off to school. Deal with the other two little ones and then we head out the door by 9:30 at the latest. They go to the child watch at the y and then I have to be back by 11:30 so Micah can go to preschool. Roman is off 2-3 days a week so on those days, I don't have to worry about dragging them out with me.

Tasha what is the trick to getting out the door by 9:30?? I am not a morning person and it is so hard to get going in the morning. My daughter is the same way. I worry about her. She is 3 and she is such a night owl. Its like her whole little personality changes when it gets dark. (That can't be a good thing!!)
