I did pretty much the opposite of what I was supposed to today. I work around food, and there are always sweets and pieces of this or that availible, plus eating on breaks, etc. It's about as good as putting an alcoholic to work in a bar. I know all the right things to do, but right now I'm not doing them. It's frustrating, because this lack of control informs my whole life.

Tomorrow is another day.

Good luck to all!

I know how you feel! I work with food too and it's very hard. I'm working to just not snack on it... Right now I'm trying to avoid it, but if I am tempted too much.. I eat something that's "low fat" that's sitting around.. LOL

I did pretty good today. I only ate 2/3 slices of meat
I figure for an 8 hour shift, that isn't too bad. heh.

Thumbs up Re: NEWBIE weight loss Challenge!

Hey Everyone,

I am up for the challenge, too. I am going to WW and exercise on an eliptical and to Biggest Loser DvD's. I also watch the Biggest Loser, every week. For inspiration, I listen to 'Lighten Up' with Richard Simmons on Serius Radio every Sunday. Writing the food diary is tough, but necessary. You are only kidding yourself, if you think you can 'hide' what food you have ate. Without exercise, it will show up on your body.

Good Luck to all...Look forward to reading your posts.

Andrea

You can do this. You are young! The older you get the harder it is. You are taking the 1st step towards a lifetime of good health.
