Way to go, Kama! Great job--Just remember not to overdo it--you need to make sure you are fully recovered!

Saturday and Sunday I have to go to a big convention so I am figuring I will get in about 60-90 minutes of walking in those days if not more. Going to try to do a few of the challenges also. I will be drinking lots of water. At least 96 oz a day. And as far as diet the doc says I need to stay around 1900 calories so I will try that. I find with counting calories I always seem to go under them so that is a good thing.
So sorry you aren't feeling well! Kidney infections can be very painful! Just follow the dr's orders! It sounds like you will be getting a lot of activity in this week--that's fantastic! I also find that it helps immensely for me to count calories. I also count fat grams and other nutrients to make sure I'm staying "balanced". It really does seem to make a difference when I stay low on the fat grams as well. I hope you enjoy your convention this weekend! Let's have a great week!

Hi Sheila! This is a new year and a great time for a new start! Just take it one day at a time! I found that concentrating on getting through the current day on plan seems less overwhelming somehow than worrying about how long it will take me to get all of the weight off that I need to. And then the next day I wake up and make the same commitment to stay on plan for the day. I know you can do this--I have total confidence that you will be successful and we're all here to help support you along the way! This is your year--let's make it your best one yet! Let's go!!!!
