Default My personal cahllenge to lose more

So, here I am yet again trying to find a new way to stay motivated and lose some more weight. I find myself trying to find a new approach to lose the last 20 lbs. I get bored too fast. I have always felt that I needed a strict plan to follow but now, I am over it. I am just going to count calories and keep it healthy. So here I go. Day one of "counting calories". I know what is healthy and what is not. I know all the right things to do. I just have never counted calories so I am a little uneasy about it.

I need to get in more calories for today because as of right now, I am sitting on less than 200! TOO LOW!

Geeze, I can't even spell challenge right!

I have the same problem getting bored too easily. But we can do this. I wish you the best of luck Tasha; I know you can do it.

Thanks everyone. I am just curious Molly.... or anyone else.....Do you eat whole wheat bread and if so....how often? It just seems that when I eat bread, no matter what kind or how much, I don't lose weight!

Hi Tasha--I eat Sara Lee Multi-Grain Delightful Bread. It is only 45 calories per slice (90 calories per serving of two slices) and it is great! I probably eat at least one or two slices most days (sometimes more). It doesn't seem to have a negative affect on my weight loss! Popcorn, on the other hand, even if air-popped with no butter or salt, always seems to keep me from losing!

No matter what kind of bread I eat it bloats me; even if I don't eat but a piece once a week. But the Sara Lee Multi Grain that Molly is talking about is pretty good; I don't bloat as bad with that.

Tasha,

Your plan is really doable. Count calories and exercise. So simple.
I am curious about the bread too. I only have one slice a day, multigrain. I think we all react to grains, dairy and meat differently. if you try a step-by-step elimination and watch your body reaction, you might find out what really works and what doesn't.

Good luck Tasha!

Hi Tasha

good luck - calorie counting always worked for me in the past but i know that i have a problem with carbs now which is why i switched to sbd.

i found 100% rye bread helped with bloating as there's no wheat in it and it might be that you have a wheat allergy.

good luck
