"I'm being serious cool Cats, give the challenges a try. Don't be a hound dog."

Up for a challenge? Take a pick!

Choice #1 - Seated Dumbbell Rows (3 sets of 20) and Seated Dumbbell Triceps Extensions ( 3 sets of 20). If you do not have barbells, use anything! Can's of veggies will be perfect! Anything!
(3 sets of 20)

Starting Position
Begin by sitting on the floor, leaning back slightly with knees bent and feet on the ground. Hold the dumbbells out in front of your body with your arms straight and palms facing inward, so the dumbbells are at 90 degrees.
Action
Bring dumbbells in towards your body at chest level as you squeeze your elbows behind your back as far as possible. Return to starting position. Special Instructions
Keep elbows in towards the body, but not completely against the body, as you go through the movement.
Muscles Worked: Upper back, Biceps, Shoulders

(3 sets of 20)
Starting Position
Sit holding one dumbbell with both hands behind your neck by grasping the plate and wrapping your thumbs and pointer fingers around the hand grip.
Action
EXHALE: Extend arms straight above your head, keeping elbows next to ears.
INHALE: Lower the weight back down with contol to the starting position to complete one rep.
Special Instructions
Contract abs to avoid arching your back. Use a bench with a short back (if available) for support. Keep elbows tight near ears throughout movement and try to keep your upper arms still.
Muscles Worked: Triceps__________________________________________________ _______
Choice #2 - Jump Squats - Do as many as you can.

Exercise Advice: Start in a deep squat position with your folded out in front of your body. From this position, explosively jump up as high as you can and reach for the ceiling with your hands as you jump. Repeat this until failure.
__________________________________________

Choice #3 - Post a contract in the serious forum for yourself that say's how many days this week you are going to workout and how many minutes you will do it for each day and make sure it's something you know you can keep your word at. This contract is a promise to yourself.

"Give it everything you got Wild Cats! It's now or never."

Sign me up for both of # 1 and #3... And a nice long jog... Also swimming today...

#3
The week I, Mark, plan and purpose to work out six days this week. My workout will include 30 minutes of core and 10 minutes of jogging, with at least one challenge per day. I will eat my planned diet. I will get in eight glasses of water per day and I will support my WildCat team members and my other buddies here. My short term goal is to loose at least two pounds this week, because I deserve it and so does my team.
