Monday's Challenge
Needing an added challenge to your daily routine? Choose one of these. Please, do not do them if you think it is harmful to you.

Choice #1 - 15 mins of added cardio. Dancing, walking, etc.

Choice #2 - Pilates for the abs, stabilizers and upper body. Do 50 of these. Add more if you think you can.
Body Roll- Pilates Exercising Instructions

Start in a ball and keep your head inside your knees. Now balance on your bum while working your abdominals. Start this exercise by rolling backward balancing on your spine now roll back up to the starting position(rolled up and balanced).

Choice #3 - Eat 2 cups or servings of veggies.

Good luck!

I am not sure of my plans this week. I thought I was getting better with this UTI but now I am have alot more pain. It feels like it is moving to my kidneys. (I recall what it feels like from 9 years ago) I am not sure I will be able to workout due to the pain. It is horrible!! Well, I go to the dr later today so I will check back in after I know what is going on.

Tasha I hope you feel better!!!

My plan for this week is to exercise for 60 minutes a day.
I also want to work on getting 1600 calories the right way. I found a eat right plan in my fitness magazine and I want to try it out. I would really like to get to the 170's this week.

My goals for this week are going to be the same as always, since it's still working.
As far as eating goes, I will stay within my 1200-1500 calorie range each day, while eating healthier foods and not eating anything at all three hours before my bedtime.
I will drink all my water, which is at minimum 80 oz., but always goes up to around 120 oz. each day. I also will drink my diet green tea each evening for a total of 24-32 oz.
I will exercise three times a day. Starting each morning with a 1/2 mile walk warm up moving on to a 40 minute strength training on our home gym. That includes 110 crunches, 60 side crunches, and 40 deep leg lunges. Then in the afternoons I will do at least 20-30 minutes of cardio, which usually is riding my elliptical bike, working out to the Biggest Loser DVD, or swimming if it's warm. Then in the evenings I will walk for 40 minutes on my treadmill. I am now up to a 5% incline, and go for 6 minutes on 3.5 minutes then 4 minutes on 4.5. I end up getting in just over 2 1/2 miles.
I will also do at least one of the daily challenges given to us by WW.

Hi... I am here in spirit! I did powerwalk a mile this morning and do my core and 30 minutes of arms and shoulders... Now I'm taking some NYQUIL and sittin' in the whirlpool. You all have a great week and I'll drop in later on...

LOL -- Marky
