RE: Blue violets week 8 fitness and nutrition

Currently, I am doing a minimum of:
60 minutes on Gazelle (4-5 miles) on Mon, Wed, and Fri
35-40 minutes on Gazelle (3 miles) on Tues, Thurs, and Sat
30-45 minutes of strength training on Tues, Thurs, and Sat
I\'m not happy with my core body exercises though and want to find something else. I\'m trying crunches and back extensions on an exercise ball. I did those today and seem to be okay with them. I need to find something else for my obliques though. What I was doing wasn\'t really doing anything for me, I couldn\'t feel anything.
Okay, so to challenge myself this week, I am going to add more crunches. Right now, I am only doing 30. I want to increase that by 10 each strength training day so 40 on Sat and 50 by next Tues. Also, I need to go for less than 1500 calories daily. Okay, that\'s too easy. I am going to challenge myself to ABSOLUTELY NO sweets this week. Not going to be easy with 2 small kids eating Easter candy but I\'m going to try.
