I am going to work out my hour or a bit more (when ever posible) and I am going to increase my walk at that track by 2 I usually walk 12 times around the track.

I don\'t do any weights the trainer at the gym keeps saying I need to loose more because then I will start getting muscle and it will be harder to loose the fat. Do any of you know if that is true?

Drink water water water and hope to loose more than 2lbs this week.

Hi Cloty:
Welcome to the Hotties!! I have no idea what your trainer is talking about -- muscle helps BURN fat!! I\'m talking about lighter weights with higher number of reps, not heavy weights. Muscle weighs more than fat, but it helps burn fat too. You should also only weight train every second day, unless you target a certain area per day (upper body one day, lower body the next). Ditch that trainer!! He doesn\'t know what he\'s talking about. Hope that helps!! Peace Out...

My pledge. 3 fruits and 3 veggies everyday. Get up and do a 15 min (treadmill) workout every morning and 25 after school (treadmill or bike) and 10 min weights. And of course drink my water. Yesterday I bought a pop after church and I didn\'t finish it. I guess I didn\'t have the taste for it anymore. Never thought I would say that.[I

I\'m still going to do my running for 2 1/2 miles for at least 5 days this week and walk the other two days. My food is gonna stay the same because I think I am doing great there. I am going to start taking some vitamins though.
Jane C.- I think you will give your metabolism a great boost in the morning if you do those 15 mins in the morning.
Cloty - My husbands trainer told him something similar but he said do more aerobic than weights right now. The trainer didn\'t tell him to stop weights though. Just to do more cardio. He weighs 257.

My pledges for this week are to:
- Stay in my calorie range every day (1200-1500 cals)
- Minimum of 5 days of cardio exercise
- Minimum of 3 days of strength training
- Get 64+ ounces of water per day

Not too many changes from last week - except the strength training. I only did 2 days and I need to start building that up so I can get some muscle toning going on!

Go Hotties!! It\'s our week to win it!
