RE: Blues CTW----WEEK 2 THREAD
I\'m pretty much doing the same thing as Sylvia as far as dieting goes. I try to keep my carbs under 55%, which ends up usually being 45 - 50 %. Try to get in as much protein as possible. I watch my calorie and fat intake. I try to get in my fiber as well. Although i\'ve noticed when trying to get a certain amount of protein per meal, I end up eating lower calorie, fat, carb foods. I don\'t really watch anything but protein and fiber now. Everything else works itself out. Oh, and I always make sure that i\'m eating good carbs instead of bad. Except for the occasional Baked lays. Which is interesting because i\'ve had the same bag for nearly 3 weeks. I used to go through a bag in 1 - 2 days! Oh, and getting in my green tea at least once a day.
I was trying to get in at least 64 ozs of water. The standard amount but have decided I wasn\'t always getting that in, and I actually need more than that. So as of today I have started a new rule for myself. Drink 8ozs every hour from the moment I wake up to the time I go to bed. If I miss an hour I know to drink twice as much the next hour. Having a strict \"water rule\" for myself seems to help.
