SPARE TIME??? What's that??? LOL..
I have very little time without my kids...I have two hours on Monday mornings when I take Noah to preschool, and then I have an hour or two a day during the week when Cameron's at school and Noah's sleeping...during those times, I read or clean or watch TV. Sometimes I hang out with friends and have coffee or lunch, or go shopping with them and their kids. My whole dang life seems to be all about my kids right now--BUT I've chosen it and I love it. I wouldn't trade it for the world--and it's all happening so fast. I know one day they'll be adults...and hopefully they'll give me a gaggle of grandkids I can spoil and send back home, lol...
I also write. I'm in a writing group online and do freelance writing on the side. Noah is involved in two activites(preschool and a play group, plus the Parents as Teachers program), Cameron's involved in five, not including school (piano since he was five, french horn in the school band, soccer, swimming, Boyscouts--he starts basketball next month but that will be when soccer ends for the season, lol). I literally have some kid thing to do every day.
When I was younger and not a mom, I used to paint, write poetry, etc. Oh, I also enjoy cooking and do it from scratch most of the time. Almost every day. I tell my DH how spoiled he is all the time, lol...
And of course, I do my buddy slim thing and my working out thing every day. I guess I do have SOME free time, it's just almost always with kids in tow. And somehow, that doesn't feel that free....lol. But like I said, I love it!!
