Okay, I think this is a fabulous idea! I'm optimistic that all this support is going to make September a good month for all of us!

So, it's September 1st and the 1st day of the challenge, my report:

Meals were on plan.
I didn't drink nearly enough water. I think I should probably start chugging some right now!
As for exercise, I'm heading out the door as soon as I am done posting to enjoy the nice weather (while it lasts) and take a nice long walk.

My goal for this month: drink more water and be sure to keep track of my caloric intake!

I wish us all luck ladies!!

Hello Ladies!

I wanted to first say thank you to Charityn for the invite to the group.

Ok now for my daily report

My day was not the best planned days. I wasn't feeling that great, so I didn't eat very much. I did not eat breakfast. I had a Bocca Burger-it's a vegan version of a chicken burger for lunch. Did not have any snacks during the day. Dinner, we had a crock pot dinner that consisted of french onion soup, steak, stuffing onions, and spices.

My week goal is to drink a lot more water. I rarely drink enough water, I don't remember the last time I drank enough water. >.<

Activities: I went for an hour walk with my mother and dog this evening along the river.

Tonight, I also joined Weight Watchers with my Mom. I weighed in at 164.5 lbs. My goal weight is to be 120 lbs for my wedding, which is planned for next year...sometime. Thanks for the invite and we can do this!!!!!

Hey Girls

My Report today:
BF: Yogurt
Sn: 0
L: zuchinni stew
S: Apples + energy bar
D: Cereal + Milk jeje, I was too lazy to prepare anything

Well, honestly I haven't drunk any pure water, I know it sucks buuuh! But I will really try hard tomorrow and have my gallon aside

Thank you Tiffany & Kate, I hope we can reach our goals soon and you Kate, if you are consistent with your Plan, you will reach those 120Lbs in no time, it's great that you are starting soon. I used Jenny Craig and lost 20Lbs for my wedding, but I only used it for 1 month cause it was expensive Have your Plan and you will nail this.

Gotta go now, baby is screaming, I better run See you Buddies tomorrow.

Charityn.

Still working on a plan. And have to wait for my paycheck to get the healthy foods in my home. So by Thurday I should be able to get all this on a roll. But I did go on a 1/2hr walk this evening.

Hi everyone!

I'll accept the challenge if you'll have me!

I'm really determined to stick at it this time, I've been half-heartedly trying for three years to go back to my healthy ways! I lost 60lb five years ago, kept it off for two years and since then it's been creeping back on! I really don't want to go back to 245lb again! So I'm looking for ways to stay focused.

O.K., so yesterday (1st Sept) I had a really good day, stuck to my calorie intake goal, weighed in and had lost 7lb in ten days, whoop! Managed to drink plenty of water, about 4pints.
My goal for September is to lose at least 6lb.

I will check in later and tell you all how I've done today (as it's only 9am here!)

Good luck today guys!

Ok Girls, now I will need everyone of you to do just brief introduction, your goals and what do you expect from this group. I will start now...

Well this is me, I am 35yo, married (to an italian-american > full pasta always) and I have a daughter (11mo) I am pretty much a new mom jeje I graduated as a physician in my country (Peru) in 2002 and came to US in 2003, now I am trying to get my medical license in this country and I have passed 2 out of 3 exams I need to pass in order to get mi MD, well that is one of my biggest goals

But the other big one is to recover my healthy and pretty weight, which seems such an impossible mission, but I know with some support and consistency I can do this.
After pregnancy my weight was 170Lbs but I managed to get to 140Lbs which is my base line, yesterday my weight was 138Lbs so at least I am not going over that number, for now

My Goal Weight is 110Lbs since I am only 5,1 ft. I can't wait to see that number on the scale again would you girls help me in this journey? I plan to support all of you as well

Let's share Tips and Recipes, workouts and mainly our MOTIVATION to keep going on this skinny road

Evening everyone!

A bit about me: I'm 26, a baker, newly married (July 27th) living in the north of England with my husband and my two dogs. I guess I already said a bit about my motivations, not to be huge again! Mainly I would like to fit back into clothes that are two sizes too small for me! And I've heard it only gets harder to lose weight as we get older..
I guess what I wanted from this group is somewhere to turn when I feel like eating a huge bar of chocolate! And somewhere to get tips to keep me motivated...

I haven't done badly today, I just about kept to my calorie target, BUT went for a family meal, which feels like a set back, but I did opt for a healthy tomato pasta meal (all the rest came with chips!) and for pudding had two scoops of ice cream instead of the apple pie! I still felt bad though, and thought 'I might as well eat some chocolate now' (my biggest weakness) but I didn't I came on here instead, so it's already working!
And because it's my day off I've hardly exercised, but have drank enough water.
So all in all not a great day but disaster was avioded by using this group as an outlet, hurray!
Hope you guys all did well and I look forward to reading about you in the future!
Suzie x

Suzie,
So, you live in England, I haven't been there but it's a place I definitely have to visit soon, and you are so young, that's a plus buddy cause your metabolism will respond quicker to this andVery good girl! about not eating the chocolate, yeeeh! it's been said that chocolates are great source of serotonin but it also causes GERD or reflux disease, so there are good and bad things but mainly if it makes us gain weight, it's a no no, but we can always indulge for a little piece just to feel the flavor

Uhm, actually if we could all just control our portions that would be awesome, we could eat everything just in small portions. I just had a steak (thin layer) and green beans and 1/2 potato, it was so darn good, I love hot chilly peppers, not talking about the Mexican chilly but chilly from my country (Peru), we call it "Aji" I heard that spicy food speeds up our metabolism and it's gotta be true cause I had to run to the bathroom right away

Well Girls, we have to post our Workout of the day and Meals, we have to pledge to lose at least 2Lbs a week which is a great number not too much and still something we can feel a little bit difference.

Ok, it's 3pm now and I haven't done my workout but had a brunch cause I was too busy to have lunch, I know I have to have 6 meals but sometimes it gets so busy but I will try harder and I will do my workout even if it is at 11:30pm so I can say it's from today. I have to do 30min of Slim in 6 Program.

Well girls I hope to see everybody's report today, Suzie did it and I know it's late over there so I am waiting for the rest of you Bonitas to do it as well.
Gotta go now
