Morning girlies!!! Up and making fig preserves this morning. Not what I want to be doing but the figs are ready ...DH & DD made it out to Miss safe and sound but had major issues at hotel yesterday...seems the room they got was on a corner at the bottom (outside access doors to rooms) and somebody had obviously left the sliding glass doors open and the room was infested with mosquitos...DH said there were 1000's of them ..the a/c was barely working and they were getting their butts ate slap up so after several trips and calls to the front desk, they got moved about 4 and into a nicer room than we had booked and it is upstairs so they are away from the bushes, shrubs, and wet grass (seems they have had tons of rain out there in the past month--said everything is wet and muddy). Talked to them last night before they went to bed and they had both calmed down and were settled in..thank goodness .

As for my day yesterday..DS & I took a hog to the market only to come back with another one..how do I get fooled into this crap . Anyhow, it was an ALL DAY affair (hot, humid and nasty) and I was so give out when we got back, I crashed on the couch for 2 hours. A g/f of mine came over later and we shelled butter beans and watched a movie..I know--I am so lame in my entertainment life DS had a date last night with a girl he has been trying and trying to see so he is 10 feet off the ground this morning...seems it went well and she "accidentally" took something out the car last night that he has to get back today..likely story!!!!

Well, I had one too many glasses of wine last night and I feel like crapola today. So, I will probably spend most of the day laying around...ugh! I ended up using flex points yesterday. I had not used any all week and this is day 7 of my journal. Still may weigh in in the morning but am scared now that I blew it yesterday.......more coffee....couch...

hello everyone,
back from mom's. horrible cooking this weekend. was starving when I left. oh well, gotta deal w/ her disease. was vacuuming and the vacuum stopped working. couldnt get it to go back on. Decided to use my amer exp gift check to purchase a new one. got it. then for some reason started the old one( its' working again. how frustrating. I think they wont give $$ back may get store credit instead. dont go to that store more often. oh well. not going back today will do so tomorrow. maybe I'll just keep the spare in the basement some how now that I'm thinking. sigh, just frazzled.

Terry= yipes about the motel room glad they got a better room!! Went to the county fair instead of the beach yesterday and saw some horse completitions and thought of Kimberly. GL to her.

Allison- sounded like a busy day yesterday. hope you relax today.

hello again everyone,
managed to get the vacuum back to the store and they gave me cash instead of store credit since the package was unopened. yippee.

Just got an email from ex. his car was stolen from the mall yesterday. don't know all the details. real nice dodge intrepid. hope they find it but I doubt it in this neck of the woods. he's real bummed out and wants to be alone in his thoughts.
