Now they changed the times for the services. We might be able to make the mass but not the last viewing @ the funeral home.

need to get some errands done today as well as a long walk if weather permits.

Xan- yipes about the oo network prov. I get a lot of calls like that @ the insurance comp, we changed networks for routine eye exams a few yrs ago and people still dont know about the change. gl w/ the new biz

Okay..off to get DD's haircut..she found a Jessica Simpson pic of exactly what she wants from a couple of years ago..now we shall see if the girl can cut it like that..should be cute!

Good Morning Ladies!

Can you believe that this time last year I was setting up the park for our wedding? Monday is our anniversary already. It feels longer than 1 year, but in a good way. It just seems like we have always been together.
Anyway, we are sooooooooooooooo busy today I am going to be chugging Diet Mt Dew and coffee. Dev has LL all stars game at 1, then Pony playoffs at 5, we are leaving part way through that to stot at niece's graduation and leave Garrett there with my in laws(billhole couldn't take him this weekend) and then I don't know where we are going, but Kevin told me to pack an overnight bag. I am excited that he planned something for us.

Lizzy.....I must have missed what skeleton you have swinging in the closet, but BELIEVE ME I am researching a major one too. I think that was in a post I lost the other day......

In researching my paternal grandfather, that I did not know alot about but he grew up not far from here, I found out for sure he was married to someone other than my grandmother. When I found that womans Obit, low and behold there is a daughter from that marriage. My dad has a half sister that he knew NOTHING about. I have been sick to death all week just thinking that my grandpap that I thought was one of the most awesome men, would up and leave his wife and child for another woman. Grandpa was a playa!

Hey guys,

Greetings Some weeks this job gets the best of me and I can't get my butt here. The working from home is great when it happens, but this week I think I was home one day. Ah well, 15 months and counting.

WW is going well except it's frustrating! I have this cycle: lose 2.4-2.6, gain 0.6-0.8...it's every other week that I gain or lose. It's averaging a pound a week, but then I see these people dropping pounds like crazy and I wonder what the heck is wrong with me! Sigh.... I'll just keep on pluggin'.

I have ALMOST finished the baby quilt for my nephew that was born last August...working on the binding now and then will post pics before I give it to him. There is another one due in Sept that I need to get moving on. this was my first one though, so it's full of errors. Hopefully his mommy will still love it b/c it came from auntie lori...hee hee.

Lizzy - I need to catch up on your skeleton, but hugs regardless! Is Athena eating better?

It's storming here...again! Ugh!!!! I bought a new sewing table last weekend and need to pick it up but it has to stop raining!!!! They hay they're cutting is never going to cure at this rate.

Hey girls...well, I survived the Rehearsal dinner last night.. between my DH's softball game tonight and the Margarita machine last night I think I have had enough alcohol for awhile! I say that, but I am sure I will have a few drinks at the wedding....thought about bringing a bottle of Seagrums 7 but the fun of that has disolved.......lol Food wise I have been doing okay...last night I filled up on Shrimp Chevice! Yum!!!! Anyway, we are spending the night at the hotel tonight after the reception so we have to pack etc. The ceremony is at 3, dinner at 6. Oh, and totally off subject, Old Navy has flip flops for 1.00 today only. I just went and got 5 pair. It's 5 pair limit for person....I couldn't get Ashley out of bed or we would have got one in every color!

Lori- School is year around for me with the only break being 1 week during Christmas...ugh!

got most of my errands done, got a nice long walk in.
of course forgot to get condolence cards. Well mom was right about the times and date for the funeral thank goodness. Might miss the funeral home for the last viewing but should make it to the mass god and traffic willing.
Went and saw Wall E. Cute picture. As to the family skeleton, can't discuss on the forum but needless to say, it puts my uncle into a much negative light.

Terry- hope the fundraiser went well. hope the hairdresser had some suggestions for dd hair
Jen- wow a year already!!! hope you have a good time!! Wow about grandpa, that happened w/ this uncle as well among other stuff!!

knock on wood athena has been doing well. now I'm going to be away for a few days and going to bring her to mom's for the long weekend, we'll see if this upsets her system

Okay let me sum up today's exciting fundraiser in one simple word--B O R I N G...OMG, it was horrid!!!! From 10-4, this man supposedly was breaking a horse that had never been ridden..okay..he did not put a freaking ounce of weight on this horse until he had run him around a pen for 5 freaking hours..wth?? The horse was so dead tired and exhausted from the heat, of course it wasn't going to buck or anything. Such a rukus... then they auction this "newly broke" horse off to the highest bidder and it brought a whopping $35. Give me a freaking break!!! I was sooooo disappointed that DD & I blew our entire day down there for that crap! Not to mention we did not have a good crowd and the $$ was split 6 ways..don't know the final title but I am thinking less than $50 a piece when all is said and done. DD & her friends gave us a better show than the man with a water/ice fight where DD got soaked to the bone wet and so did a friend of her's and a male friend got into the fight and he and his girlfriend had a knock down drag out over him playing around with the girls and he had to leave..LOL!!!..now that was entertainment and worth paying for.

Oh the hair cut is awesome!!! Looks great and feels so much softer and healthier...said that her hair was being razor cut and that is what is ruining the texture of it. Think it warrants a change for a while although I love the girl that has been doing it on a personal level but the difference in the haircut was amazing!
