not much else for me @ the moment. Baby shower @ work today,will try to have only a sliver of cake. TOM arrived this morning. Keeping up w/ the water and exercise.

Terry- ugh about the lack of sleep, but glad you had a good time. Bummer you couldnt have stayed longer.

Good Morning Ladies.

I have got to start going to bed earlier! LOL Last night I was up until about 11 trying more in the research dept. of my Grandpa. I can't remember if I told you guys but, I do not know a whole heck of alot about my grandpa, but from what I know he did grow up somewhere not far from where I live now. Last week I actually found cousins..my Dad's first cousin lives in the next town and his son lives not far too. As a matter of fact what set me off on this again(I had stopped for a few years since I was getting nowhere) was seeing a different spelling of my maiden name in the paper.....the cousins son has a daugther that plays softball in the next age group up from Jess. I was going to go to their next game to meet them when a mom on Garrett's team said her BF's last name was that...turned out to be that girls mom. So I named some names and sure enough! They have been on vacation, so I am still looking onlin and found some interesting tidbits there last night. Thankfully the county below me has their old Deed's available for viewing online and apparently in the 40's my grandpa had a farm there.

So in other news we had some bad storms rip through last night. My backyard was COVERED completely white from the hail....but I wasn't here to see it since I ran to Walmart, which lost half their power while I was in there.

I did well in the food dept. yesterday, but stunk in the water dept, so I have got to get that in today.

Oh well.....I have to get going.

Good Morning Girls..

Waiting for my coffee to brew..tick tock. Last day of school but teenman is sleeping, I told him to he could blow it off today..no sense in sitting in a class watching your teacher pack her room for four hours. Busy as usual for me and now its adjustment time with Cory trying to play Julie the Cruise director. He's busy every nite with his drama, have to figure the rest of his day out.

Food..okay yesterday. I took Cory to Dairy Queen and stayed in the car!

Off to drink my coffee.....do some bills etc...and get to the gym.

Up checking my emails...got a wonderful night's sleep last night and boy did I need it..feel totally refreshed this morning. We got rain again last night..almost 1". Thank goodness..the crops may can actually make a comeback now. Another chance for storms today--bring them on as long as they don't damage anything. Sunburn is still hurting me on my legs and feet--I really did a number there. I have NEVER burned like that in all my life. Was barely able to wear regular flip flops yesterday and didn't wear shoes at all while I was at work. Gotta scott..my good friend & I are on some hot topics on email..LOL!!!

Hey girls! It has been crazy here. My mom and step dad were in town for the weekend. Thankfully they stayed at my sister's, but it meant we were not at home all weekend. Then MIL arrived Sunday night. She will be here until Friday. She is driving me crazy trying to parent my kids. Last time I checked that was my job! Yesterday DD had swim practice and then we took the kids to get theirpics made. It had been a couple of years and MIL wanted an updated pic. When I get them on email I will send them to you guys.

Fortunately amidst all the craziness, I have eaten fairly well and finished my first week of P90X! I get to do stretchX today and am looking forwad to it. I can already see some differences. Can't wait to see what happens at the end of 90 days.

Today we are headed out to find DD some new shoes and then she has a swimmeet this evening weather permitting.

Lizzy~ Sorry you are having to move at work again,but at least it is a better place. How was the baby shower?

Jen~ Cool that you are discovering more info about your grandfather. Thought of you Friday. We were at a party and had a fire in the fire pit. Someone said,"We need mountain pies." (Isn't what what they are called?) I thought I have never heard of them before and suddenly they are coming up everywhere.

Jilli~ That is huge - staying in the car at DQ!

Terry~ Use that aloe on your feet. Glad you got some rest last night.

Hey gang!
Up early today, Chy and my mom left for California at 6:30. Chy is going to her girlfriend's 16th b day party. Actually the parents rented a limo for them and are taking them to City Walk. Should be fun!

Not much else new here, gotta meeting at 9:00 to finalize some fundraiser plans. It's at Paradise Bakery so need to watch out! May just have a plain bagel and skip the chippers! LOL!

Hey girls, was sleeping like a rock until some 5 y/o little girl decided to get up and want breakfast! I knew she shouldn't have taken a nap yesterday! LOL
Today I have to get some groceries. I am out of everything healthy except 1 pt bread! My kids will pitch a fit because they hate to travel and I won't buy a full bill of groceries at our hick store and their outrageous prices. I'll have to tempt them with a "surprise." Always works! LOL

Lizzy: hope the baby shower is fun. I have a wedding shower and baby shower this weekend. May make the baby shower, but I sent a gift to the wedding shower because it coincides with a golf tournament we always do. Have fun!

Jen: I hope you find out all you want to know and meet new family members to boot! It sounds very interesting!!

Jilli: I'd let him sleep too! I can't believe he's just now getting out of school! We've been out since May 24, but we go back Aug 14 too so that probably explains a lot! Have a great day!!

Barb: Hope Chynna has a great time and you don't get lost! LOL

Allison: What a productive day planned! I need to plan mine. Have a great one!
