Default Sunday, June 22nd

Greetings all,

It's been crazy as usual. I'm still hanging in there WW wise and still losing...finally hit the first 5 lbs. Took me a frickin month! Why? Some folks lose it their first week. Oh well, I will take it and quit bitching

Jim is going out on the boat today. I am cleaning and working on the quilt. Annie has a stomach bug and literally can't keep anything down. Poor baby!

Jilli - you can say anything you like here darlin'
Allison - ick...bet you were able to sweat off that breakfast.
Jen - hugs!
Barb - tried the skinny dippers! Nice treat for 1 pt I like the mint ones best but haven't tried the carmel ones yet.
Terry - how did the show go. Ick on the heat. It's in the 80's here today but muggy.

Ok, I need to go shower and get a move on. Late start...we woke up to no electricity so I just went back to bed.

Have a great day!

And Bluff, if you're lurking - happy Sunday my friend!

Lori T

Happy Sunday everyone!

Well we are in a whirlwind with everyone in different directions today. LOL Jess had her last pitching clinic this morning, Garrett went to church with the inlaws.
Kevin got home at about 2 am from working in Ohio and he still made sure he got up to go help Jess by being her catcher. Now he had to go get Dev for his practice because his mom "forgot" about it. GRRRRRR And Garrett has a game at 4.

Food has been good so far today as has my water. The past few days water has been good, the food so so, activity next to non existent with all the running I have had to do.

Not sure what is on tap for din din tonight since we will be at the ballfield until about 6:30 or so....I will not feel like cooking though I can tell you that!

Lori......I had asked the other day, not sure if you saw it, have you ever heard that a low thyroid can cause ear infections and skin conditions with a Sheltie? With Sasha's constant ear infections I googled it and read an article stating that a Sheltie's thyroid level should be more to the high normal for their particular breed. Any words of wisdom on this? We had to take her to the Dr yet again the other day and her vet said he has never heard of it, but also wouldn't bother reading the article that I did print out.
And WTG on your 5 lbs!!!! That is awesome!!!!! You keep it up!!!!!!

Bluff are you here too now!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Come on out!!!

We need Yogi too!!!!

Alrighty....everyone have an awesome day!
Jen

Hello everyone

Was a good girl didnt succomb to the temptations of the various vendor carts. Was a little bummed the farmer's market wasnt open today. Got a good hr walk in- about 2 1/2 miles, knee did good too no knee brace. did take it into town though, just in case, but it held up.

Jilli- feel free to post away about what you're eating no incriminations here.

Anna- bummer you had to in on Sat to work!! hope you're doing well
Barb- so bummed that every farmer's market around here closes before I get out of work or is closed on sundays!!!
Allison- ugh about the basketball games w/ no ac!!!

Hi everybody!

Today is lazy day for me. Work is so busy I never get the opportunity to do this so I purposely scheduled it. How sad is that when you need to schedule a lazy day? Just taking my time getting things done & if they don't get done then "oh well".

We had a good time last night. The entire family got together for my birthday and we to hibachi. It was fun & my younger nieces had a blast (it was their first time). Afterwards, my friend came back to the house where we consumed way too many calories of the liquid variety. I came out into the kitchen this to find 3 empty bottles of wine (oops).

Lori - Hi! What a pleasant surprize to see you here too! How are all the furbabies?

Jen - Even your Sunday's are insane. I'm amazed at how you keep up. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Lizzy - WTG on the walking & restraint. I admit I have a weakness for carnival & street vendors. I have no idea why especially being that I get sick everytime.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend! See you during the week!

Jodi

Jodi- happy belated b'day. good to schedule in a lazy day. things are a bit hectic here, not as bad as jen though . mom got dx w/ frontal lobe dementia in december. she can still live and function on her own and is disagreeing w/ her dx. so she is a handful. not easy to create a lazy day more like a few lazy hrs.
Glad you had a good time this weekend.
