Good Morning Ladies!

It felt good to sleep in a little bit this morning, but of course I have the ballfield today and I am not happy about it.
The minor leaguers (Garrett's age group) have a little tournament, but heck they were barely able to get kids to play the last 2 weeks of regular season, so I imagine it is going to be a waste of a day. If everyone would play it would be fun.

Kevin is hoping to get home late tonight. We just want to get Dev over here so there are no further conflicts going on and hopefully get to the bottom of that conflict.

On the food front.....why can I not get my shit together? I will have 2 good days and then screw it up. I don't know what the heck my problem is lately, but I am getting pissed. Actually I do know what part of the problem is....I need to workout. I have said this for years, when I workout my whole plan falls into place. I just have zero extra time right now. I wish I could at least walkl during lunch, but I would need a bulletproof vest to walk that neighborhood I work in.

Oh well.....I have to start getting ready to get to the field.

I'm at work..waiting on my next victim. I thought I would jump in and say hi.

Jen - I'm in the same mindspace...I should move for a living, I lost 15 during that month...maybe I'll take it up on the weekends for sport lol.

Today I'm going to eat breakfast with Cory, make some eggbeater hi protein wraps... Lunch out with my friend and I already thought ahead to a chef salad with dressing on the side...dinner could be tricky, going to an Italian nite at my friends American Legion...and then a country bar to hear a cover band. I'm going to drink a ton of water.

Morning Jen & Jilli....up trying to get the day started..needed to get a couple more loads of clothes washed before we leave around lunchtime so I am completely caught up and can enjoy today, tonight and tommorrow. Talked to my parents yesterday and they are soooo excited we are coming down--they haven't seen DS since the night he graduated..pitiful considering we are only 25 miles from them but everybody is always busy.

Realized today that I was invited to an engagement party that you had to take gifts too 2 months ago and the wedding is today however, no invite--is that not rude??? P'od my butt last night!!! Not that I would have even went but it is the principal of the issue.

Okay..off to dry my hair and tidy up some more..DD's b/f should be here 12ish and I hate the house being in a mess although he has been around now for 8 weeks and doesn't seem to care...still bugs me though for him to come into a messy house.

Jen- I keep wondering the same thing.... I get excited and do great food wise and then something happens! Right now my excuse is company.....In fact, we are getting ready to fix a big breakfast and I never eat a big breakfast! I am going to try to stick to toast and skip the eggs and sausage.....

Jill- Actually you can say just about anything your heart desires! No biggie on this site!

Terry- I'd be pissy about not being invited to the wedding especially if I was invited to the gift bringing engagement party!

Last night we made penne pasta with pesto sauce and a caprise salad....The salad was delicious! Fresh roma tomatoes, basil, buffalo cheese, and olive oil! I should have just ate the salad and skipped the pasta.......This morning my Mom wants to fix a big breakfast since Ashely has a basketball tournament all day. Makes sence but I will try to just stick with toast! I hope to get a walk in tonight! I normally go to kickboxing but with my Mom here I'll be skipping it.....Have a good day ladies!

Hi busy, hot here, blah blah! Going to the farmer's market this morning and then hitting the pool! That's about it! Trying a new recipe for Apricot Chicken tonight and some shitake risotto! Should be an interesting dinner! LOL!

Okay girls getting final stuff packed up for the show...OMG it is so humid outside..only 92 but the heat index has us over 100. DD & DH are loading the horses right now--I truly feel for them having to deal with the heat all afternoon--thank goodness the actual show itself doesnt start until 6. Maybe by that time, we will have a little breeze and shade until then, we will be beating the heat and drinking lots of H2O.

Oopps..gotta scoot..b/f is here and DD is up at the barn.

Well i survived sitting through 2 games. Not for nothing, but I hate the team Garrett is on. His coach is all about winning winning winning and does not give the kids a fair chance. It's ugly enough that the other teams will cheer like mad when we make a bad play because they hate our coach too. Now for those not familiar with Little league rules for the 7-8 year olds....the pitchers are only allowed to throw 45 pitches and then have to move to any other position but catcher(because you are doing that same type of throw)...he pitched his son for 2 innings in the first game, moved him to catcher, brought in the catcher to pitch for the rest of game one, started that same kid in game 2 for the first 3 innings, moved him back to catcher and brought his son back to pitch from the catcher position. You can't do that. I am not even upset about it for Garrett's sake(although he I am sure would have loved to pitch) but there are other kids that have proven themselves that they can pitch, give them a chance too.

Oh well......so we are getting ready to go to a friends house to a BBQ.

Yea, I survived sitting through several basketball games with no air conditioning!! Must have been 110 degrees in the gym! Ridiculous! And they charged 7 dollars to get in! For what? We already paid tournmanet fees and the place wasn't even air conditioned!!!!!!!!!! Ikk... We still have to go back for another game tonight...should be cooler anyway....

So I made Mexican Meatloaf for dinner... it's a WW recipe.... never tried it, hope it's good! Later...
