Good Morning Ladies.

Didn't see anyone else on so i decided to start off this morning.

OK....got coffee and I am good to go now.

So we had our usual running around last night with kids in different directions which is always fun.
Sasha's has yet another ear infection. I swear I pay more in meds for her than anyone else in the house in a year!!!!
Lori T.....have you ever heard of Sheltie's needing a higher Thyroid # than some other breeds? I googled the other day about Sheltie's and ear infections and an article came up that stated low thyroid can cause skin conditions and ear infections(among other things, but since these are 2 things that I constantly have her at the vet for I am naming those)? It went on to say that even if their thyroid level showed normal, for their breed it does need to be a high normal. Any input?

Kevin has to leave for Ohio today. He is not happy about it. Devan is having some issues that were brought to light just yesterday so he is particularly not happy that for the next few days it has to go onto a back burner. Suffice to say Dev is starting to see his mom for the piece of work that she is. As a mom, I hate to say that about another mother, but for the past 2 1/2 years more times than not I have said out loud how selfish she is, so unfortunately it seems the kids are suffering for it more than we knew. I'll leave it at that for a while.

Jilli.....ahhhh my fellow boat rocker! No matter where you go, there is politics involved. I have a bad habit of not keeping my mouth shut for the sake of harmony too, but that is what makes us great people, we just don't go along for the sake of it...we voice our strong opinions and let it be heard. It may not make a difference, but as long as we use that mouth of ours, that is what counts.

Xan.......First, tell Cheryl I say hey! Those parties sound like fun! We just have parties wherever around here! hehehe I have never seen an entire town into hanging out before I moved here. AWESOME JOB ON YOUR LOSS!!!!!!!!! WTG!!!!!!!

Em.....Mountain pies......you know those sandwich makers that you plug in and basically grill the sandwich? Well there are irons that you put into a fire that do the same thing. The kids loooove doing that.

need to try to get some errands done and pack up for mom's again. Also need to keep up w/ the strider or a walk.

Thanks for the thumbs up on my big mouth..I agree, I'd rather go down in a sinking ship screaming bloody murder. I talked to another board member yesterday who is just as disgusted as I am with the dictatorship and other issues so I feel better knowing Its not me...we are going to go talk to the President.

I recruited on of our old friends to this site....surprise....I'm sure she'll make an appearance later

I wish I had more time to post hello's...but alas my angry teen is pacing by the front door.

Morning everyone,
Ugh, my stomach woke me up early. Nasty cramps in my upper tummy and back. Grr. I found out yesterday that I'm definitely not going to have a job when I get back from this next trip, so I'm working like 40 hours for the next two weeks to try and make as much $$ as possible before I go. It sucks, but I've always said I'll ride it til it's over. I did hope it would last forever Oh well, I can't complain...there are people who don't have jobs at all. At least I can go and get one, right?

Jen-it sucks to be watch what happens to kids when one parent makes stupid decisions. I hope you guys can figure out a way to fix things. Sorry Kevin has to go back out on the road.

Jilli-you keep bucking the system girl...we wouldn't be who we are if we didn't do what we do. I agree, that's conflict of interest, and they should have gone with the lowest quality bid. This is why I left the PTO at Dev's school. I can't keep sitting around and watching people make bad financial decisions that will affect my kids education eventually. I can only hope to get him out before it truly does. You keep speaking up girl. There need to be more of us in the world with big mouths.

Xan-woohoo girl. That's an awesome loss. You go girl. Keep up the good work!

Terry-glad Jody is home safe and sound. Resort towns are nutty. Most parents have no clue where they are sending their kids. Hope dd and dh can mend fences. Life is tough at that age.

Morning all! Having a quick cup of coffee and then going to get that workout gear on! I'm going to get to the gym by 7 today! Have lots of reports to do today so I'll be around!

Oh and my hair turned black yesterday, I don't think I'm going to try that brown color again, it just makes my hair black! I'll be a rocker for a while I guess! LOL!

Good morning girls... Major congratulations to Xan on her huge weight loss!! What an inspiration!

We were told that electric bills would be increasing by 30% and not just because its summer but because they are raising the rates! Our electric bill almost tripled this month and we are already conservative as all get out! As I sit here and sweat....ugh! We have those plantation blinds so I am going to start closing them during the day and living in the dark!

So today I have an assignment to do this morning, then we'll head to the gym, and the pool this afternoon. Tyler has discovered he loves to go under water so we went and bought Nemo goggles yesterday......My mom is driving over this weekend and Ashley has a basketball tournament all weekend...That's my plans!

Jen- Maybe having a few days for Kevin to figure out how to deal with things might be best....

Lizzy- Maybe if ex didn't come over you would have gotten more sleep!

Jill- You go girl! We'll look for your friend later today!

Sue- Sorry to hear about your job and that you aren't feeling well today! You know you can find another job and you may even like it better! Everything happens for a reason.....

Barbie- No pool today?

Morning girls, and thanks for the well wishes! I am so psyched about it. I know that the majority is water as this isn't my first rodeo, but I really needed that to jumpstart. It has served as great motivation. We are going on a trip to the mountains this weekend. We leave Saturday morning and come home Monday. We are going to see Ron White with some friends and it will suffice as our anniversary "present" to each other too. That being said, there will be a lot of "distractions" to my plans, but I know that I will win. First, I have already made "plans" and those plans include all the bad things, but in moderation. We are staying at the top of a mountain. You can bet your asses that I will be finding a place to walk and I will be drinking only water throughout the day to make up for the adult beverages. As far as they go, I am going to allow myself 8 points each day for them. That's more than I need to drink anyway. Foodwise I know I'll be fine. We eat at the same places each time and they all have salad bars. I am NOT going to let myself fail this weekend! I am going to continue to journal and then show it to everyone there so they will help me! One of my friends that is going has lost 30 pounds on WW so far so I know we can help each other.
Today I am keeping two little boys that stay at the same sitter as Faith during the school year. They are adorable: 3 and 4 and rowdy and rambunctious! LOL Should keep me active!

Jen: I hate that Dev is going through this. It was very difficult for Justin to find out what kind of person his mom is, and he was mad at Billy for not telling him everything through the years, but he has such a good hold on it now for 21. I am sure with you and Kevin as support he will be fine! Good luck to you!

Lizzy: Maybe he's just not doing it for you anymore?! Wouldn't that be a kicker? LOL Hope your weekend plans at your mom's go well.

Allison: Our rates are set to increase too and we've been warned that there may be scheduled "blackouts" in our area because of too much usage. Well, when it's 10 days straight of 100 degree temps people are going to use more! My electric bill doubled this month without an increase so we'll probably live in the dark if it goes up anymore! LOL Do well on your assignment and have a fun weekend with your mom!

Where's Terry?!

UGH! Just lost my entire post... Now have two kids getting impatient for breakfast and I need to get my workout in. So this will be quick. Not much on tap for today... workout, cleaning, DD's guitar lesson and swimmeet. Such excitement I can hardly contain myself. I am a bit sore today but looking forward to cardio X today. Now I am just trying to get my eating to follow my workout habits.

XAN~ HOLY COW! Great job on the loss! Just what we needed around here... someone to remind us how it is done. Stick to that plan this weekend and have fun.

Jen~ Sorry to haer that Kevin has to leave at such an inopportune time. Is it a long trip? The mountain pies sound yummy. I may have to come up and get one.

We are having "quiet, art time" right now. The first question from the 3 y/o: Why? LMAO!
They just had lunch and now I am. I made some fresh, hot, soooooo gooooood salsa and I pointed out my baked chips and I'm having taco soup. I will have had 12 points with 15 left over for supper and PM snack. Not too bad. I have gotten 48 oz of water in, and of course a Diet Pepsi! LOL

Where is everyone today? If it doesn't go two pages, I'll cry! LOL
