Starting up!!

Hello everyone,
@ least the dentist gave me some good news that I didn't need perio surgery.
Ended up getting 3 fillings instead of 2. Not sure how that happened. Anyhow it's done and over w/. Need to get my bangs cut in the worst way, will try to get done today. No exercise yesterday so need to get in today.
Otherwise not much else going on...@ the moment anyways.

Morning Lizzy....YUCK is all I got to say for today..YUCK!!!! I wish like hang I could take the rest of this week off and soooo do NOT want to be working this week!!!! Hope the entire summer is not like this?????

Had a meeting to go to last night and ended up eating afterwards but I think I did okay..not a lot of "healthy" choices so ended up with a grilled chicken breast on a croissant with ff ranch instead of mayo and no sides. It was really good!! Wanted the salad bar but it was just gross--hardly anything on it and what was there must have been out all day long..

Need to make DD an appnt with the doc for a physical for cheering...haven't had to do this before--guess that is what happens in h/s. Shooting for Thurs since she will have to stay in town with me all day afterwards and the b/f has said she can stay with them on Thurs if I would rather...YES!!! She hates staying wtih me at work-- she is totally bored and miserable and then she upsets me and my apple cart..you know?

Lizzy...glad the news at the dentist was good! As for white instead of silver, does that cost extra??? I know my dentist has started asking me which one I prefer according to where the tooth is located. Don't matter to me though-my mouth has tons of silver in it from growing up.

plans changed. ex is coming over to watch the game, I'm going to be wiped out tomorrow @ work!!!

yup had to pay partially for the fillings,insurance didnt cover in full. really thought I was getting silver, need to look @ my paperwork more closely the next time!! Plenty of silver in my mouth too. One of the fillings was to replace a moldy oldie one. hope work is better

Good morning squirrels!
Having some hash brown bake and going to start working! Went to the pool again in the afternoon but I think we really need to stay out of the sun today! LOL! Famous last words huh? It's going to be 113 today so again I'll try to vampire us! Thanks Xan! Just need to go get Chy's hair cut and then I think I'll just work all day long! Hve some garden burgers for dinner that I'm going to make "Georged" and all is good!

Hey girls and my little vampiress! LOL Where is everyone today?! Don't tell me working!!! LOL
So we had fires around us last night to the point that smoke was pretty thick at the ballpark. None were "close" but the winds were picking up the smoke pretty bad. We went ahead and played the game when the fire department came and assured us it wasn't anywhere close. My car, clothes, everything stunk like a pit party when I got home... please tell me you know what a pit party is. It just occurred to me that some of you may not have pits to party in. LOL
Tonight is the last game!!!! YEA!!!!! No more concession stands after today!!! We actually didn't open last night because of the smoke and no one to work, so I can't gripe too much. We're at that point where we've made money and all-stars are paid for so maybe we'll open and maybe we won't! LOL
Food has exceptional. I have NOT used one single FP all week long. I really hope it shows tomorrow on the scale. I am going to be happy if I lose at least 5 but I want 7 on this first WI. Today I am at 6, but with my water retention issues it could go either way!

Lizzy: I just saw on TMZ that they are going to televise the game from Staples Center because of how the fans acted the last game... is that an NBA thing?!

Terry: Stay on that computer and we'll get you through the summer. We require all of our cheerleaders to get physicals, even in junior high. It's CYA procedure #1 (Cover Your Ass). Hope your workday flies by!!

Sorry to go MIA on you. Work has been a little more insane than normal. Blah! Other than that, not much happening here. I have almost finished the quilt for the baby that was born LAST august ( ) and need to get started on the one that is due in September...LOL.

Terry - I am SOOOO with you. Can't we just be independently wealthy?

At Ashley's school you have to have a physical just to be in Athletics. I still need to get hers done too!!!!

just flying by and waving hi.
nothing much going on...i have just been mucho frustrated with older child
lately...she has always been so good and lately she carries herself like
her poop doesn't stink. that combined with the fact that i can't
stand her mouthy boyfriend makes for some trying times.
ugh!
the weekend was pretty mellow, the food intake wasn't horrific, just
not as good as it should have been. no dwelling just moving on in the right
direction.

Anna- Hang in there! I share your frustration with mine too.... however, the past few days have not been so bad after our big blow out the other day...

Lori- Better late than never on the quilt! I am sure they will love it!
