Geeezz June is 1/2 way over already....this summer is going to fly by . Thought I would start the thread while I wait on DH to finish up getting off to work. W/I was the same this morning but I will take it...not bad eating but didn't get in the fluids I needed with the heat on Sat. and munched a little too much in the concession stand on salty foods.

With the lack of rain looks like the garden isn't going to be much this year...string beans are basically over with and I only got 3 messes...tomatoes are not looking good either--they have white spots on the inside once they are cut, cukes are extremely small and squash is no where near what they should be either/having to pick them tee tiny before they basically dry up inside--..we are getting in a critical stage here with the need of rain . Had rain hit and miss yesterday all around us but of course we were the "miss" part. Did cool the temps off by about 25 degrees and we were cloudy all day.

DD had b/f over all afternoon until 9 last night...blueberry bushes are coming in and they ate almost 3 quarts while watching TV--I just knew they were going to be sick . Finally DD has motivation for picking the bushes..LOL!!!!!

Okay..gotta scoot for now...I will bbl for personals!

Hello everyone,
managed to watch parts of the game between last night and this morning. Good game.
Have dentist tonight, seeing 2 people, 1 for 2 small fillings and 1 periodonist to see if I need periodontal surgery.
Mom managed to get the phone itself back working. Not sure if she got the answering machine back. Hopefully she found the instruction book, but she has problems reading directions now. Got some peach salsa last night to try some chicken. Need to eat quick tonight other wise wont be able to eat until late due to the fillings.

Terry- hope some well needed rain comes your way soon!!!!

Good Morning Ladies.

I was so tired lsat night that I was in bed by 10 and probably out by 10:10. I had gotten up early since I had to walk at 7. Our team did not raise alot of money...which i was kind of upset about, but as a whole our relay raised $635,000. That is a good bit. I definately walked faster yesterday....Kevin walked with me on Saturday and I had to keep stopping to wait up for him...yesterday morning I did 4 miles in my hour. I should have just jogged some of it.

Food yesterday was good as we had the parent's over so we did a pork loin on the roitisserie on the grill. Yum.

On tap for today is work, then Garrett has practice at 5:30 and Devan a game about 45 North of here.

Terry.......so sorry to read about the crops. That has to be such a pain.

Lizzy.......Oh I hope you don't need the perio surgery....I have had that before and UGH.

Alrighty, I have to run and start getting ready for work.

Morning Lizzy & Jen...man am I dragging butt now..UGGG!!! Went back to bed for 2 hours. I needed that extra nap but now feel like I am in slow motion.

Sue...thank you for willing DS to call!!!! I just can't believe how much more relieved I was after I heard his voice--and being Father's Day, I am glad he did call and talk to his dad. You know kids don't always think about stuff like!

Allison...the party Sat night sounded like such fun!!! You have a great idea with Ashley babysitting--something to keep her occupied--put that girl to work!

Gonna be a hot one today. Heat advisories today-Wednesday 112 in Phoenix. Well, the only thing ds and I need to go out of the house for is my annual gyn appt. He can sit in the nice cool waiting room while I'm poked and prodded. Yippee.
Dh has a crazy day...new bosses are in town this week checking them all out and searching for a local chief to keep things in line...lol, NOBODY wants that job. They're doing presentations all day and dinner and such...looks like my only shot at the gym will be putting ds in daycare...I think I might just do that. I can't wait to get back on my bike at 5:30 am tomorrow...it's been too long.
Other than that, it's work, work, work.

Terry-I'm glad he called home. My will is strong, lol.
Lizzy-hang in there girl. Nice job on the restaurant choice this weekend, and good for you for skipping the dessert.

Ugh..I told ds he had to sleep until 8, and he's already moving around.

Quickie from me.... woke up late after taking 2 PM's last night...so my day is behind... missed my class at the gym. I need to do schoolwork, clean house, and grocery shop. BBL I screwed up my eating yesterday... did okay at the lake, only had two fajita taco's and 2 beers but last night DH wanted to go to the Golden Corral....need I say more...Have a good day! Ok, Allison just used the words "quickie" and "screwed" in the same post and none of it was dirty... I could never do that if I tried! LOL

Terry: Yes, I was quite proud... didn't want it to get up near 100 races in a row with no win! lol Hate to hear about your crops. The cotton farmers in this area are going nuts because of the weather and wind! Yesterday it was 107 with a dry breeze where we were!

Sue: OMG, 112, I don't even want you to send those our way! Good luck to dh on the job front... meaning I know he doesn't want to be in charge! Enjoy your work out if you get one!

Jen: That's a lot of money overall, wish your team had done as well as you had liked. Good job on the 4 miles! That is an awesome amount for one hour!!

I am getting a massage today. My back has been acting up again and I don't go back to the chiropractor until the 27th!! Too much concession standing! I think I am going to go peek at the scale since it's been 4 great days in a row!

Just popping in one more time! Just got word that we got a suite for George Michael Concert on Sunday! Yipeee!!! Fun fun! I love him!

Anywho, I need to go to the bank before the 10:00 meeting today!
