Last night was fun. I went to the Bachelorette party from 7-845. The first half of the party was in the hotel room where we played games and an "entertainer" came.....unfortunately, it was a joke and it was a rather large man in a wig stripping....dang it! I wanted to see a real stripper! lol Anyhow, just when I was feeling good and ready to hit the town, I had to switch off with my DH. He had to go to the Bachelor party. We really need to let Ashley start babysitting Tyler! In all reality it worked out better the way we did it. Had I stayed, I would have drank and ate too much and been hurting this morning. Going to the lake with a hangover would have sucked. Plus, Tyler gets up so early (7am) and I am tired as it is! Today should be fun.....we are going to Canyon Lake and BBQ fajitas for Father's Day. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

Morning Ladies- Had a fairly quiet day yesterday. After the gym and stuff we came home and did some yard work. Then DH and I snuck away and went to eat catfish at a local favorite. It was good and I didn't over eat.
Last night we all kicked back and watched a couple of movies, "witless protection" and Bucket List. Bucket list really makes you think back on your life to see if you've honestly lived. There was a part in the movie where one is telling the other that in Buddism they believe that when you die you go somewhere and they ask you two questions and your answers to those questions determine if you go to heaven or not.
The questions were..........
Have you found true Joy in your life?
and
Has your life brought joy to others?
Really makes you think doesn't it?
Today we are going bowling and we'll cook out for Fathers day.

Allison a trip to the lake sounds like fun. We had major flooding last year and they have said it's best to avoid swimming in ours for a while. Sounds like you had a great time at your party and I think you and DH make a wise move switching off like you did. As for letting DD babysit. It can sometimes be a good thing. She could feel great about the fact that you trust her enough to take care of DH while you guys are away. Just start out with short outtings then work you way up. Never let her think you don't trust her though because once you step on their toes they can take forever to get over it!

As for the rest of you wonderful women. Have a fantastic day with the fathers in your life. Remember they are simple creatures (hehe) we have to love them and always remember that they just aren't as developed as we are! Can't hold that against them....

Wife's prayers
Dear lord
Please Give me patience to love my husband
because lord if I pray for strength I'm probably going to kill him!

Morning all,
Allison...you made me chuckle...it really sucks when the stripper is a fat guy in a wig, lol. I now have an image in my head that I don't know how to get rid of

Not much going on today. I have to work...have a lot to get done in the next two weeks man. It's gonna stink. Dh has to go in today too for a wee bit. When he gets home we're going for lunch at Macayo's Depot Cantina...one of dh's faves. It's tough to be a vegetarian and eat out...you would think mexican was fairly safe, but most places use lard which is NOT veg. Anyway, this particular Macayos makes all their beans and their Mex rice vegetarian. And it's cute. Also need to get this house cleaned. Yesterday was the laundry day.

April-my thoughts are so with you and your family. Things can get really nuts after someone close passes. You feel like you have to make everything right and there just is no right. It really throws things into a frenzy. It will pass, but I think you're doing the right thing by taking some control again. Take time for you.

Terry-I am "willing" him to call you. Hope my vibes are strong today

OK...work must get done today...I'm such a slacker lately.
Sue

Hey girls...

I had fun last nite, didn't see sex and the city because we were late, so we saw Zohan instead and it was hysterical. I had my cosmo and then some and enjoyed every last moment of letting go finally! I had a rough start this morning, I dragged my tired butt out of bed to meet one of my clients at the supermarket to teach her how to read labels and shop healthy and she did NOT show up...boy was I ...well I still am steamed. I guess thats why she is in the condition she is, not only does she not have self respect but she has none for me either. I am not making that statement based on her appearance rather her health. Anyway...vent over. I came home and made a delish pulled chicken chili and I am going to take my sorry self to the sofa and rest it up!

I hope you all are enjoying your day...xo Kisses..Jilli

I"ll share my recipe:

3 boneless chicken breasts boiled in seasoning of your choice and then shred when slightly cooled.
1 package of Taco Flavored Smart Ground Crumbles
2 Cans of Organic Black Beans drained
1 can of Red Kidney Beans Drained
1 Bag of Diced Green Peppers (I use frozen variety)
1 Bag of Diced white onions (I use frozen variety)
1 jar of Ragu light (lg jar)

I cook low heat for two hours as the chicken is already cooked and pulled when I put it in my chili.

This makes a huge batch of chili!!!

Happy Fathers Day

Seasonings to taste: Chili Powder, cumin, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper

Hey girls, haven't read yesterday's thread so I'll have to catch up. I have to tell you how great this week and particularly weekend went WW wise. I went to the dinner on Friday night, had 2 chicken skewers and vegetables with my Coors Light and didn't use ONE single FP!!!!! I was soooo proud. But, then Saturday came and I was scared because weekends are usually when I suck... but I went to bed with points left over... not too many but still points!!! I have 3 points left for today with all meals eaten and I am not hungry!!!! YEA! I have waited so long to be in this mode again. I am loving the Wii Fit too!!
OK, be right back for personals, Billy's yelling from the pool where he's cleaning!
