Okay, it's Saturday morning and I'm up wayyyyyyyyyy to early. I usually see clients at my gym but I have a meeting in Gross Newark this morning. Yesterday was a pita kind of day, worked alot and also spent more time on phone with Verizon. Can you believe I am still on dial up, what a freakin headache. Anyway....hopefully in the next millenium it will get resolved.

I'm hanging with my Cory later, maybe do a little shopping together. Tonight is Sex and the City Movie with the girls and a little cosmo party afterwards. I make no preliminary regrets for my cosmo drinking this evening, it is LONG overdue!

I'm still getting used to this thread again....I love you all but don't have time for individuals again.

Nice to see us moldy oldies returning! We need Yogi here too! OK, Lori you said about Bluff the other day....do you happen to know if she is alright with the flooding and such? Everytime they say Wisconsin I think of her.

So I have a funny/weird story for you. I never knew my Grandpa's side of the family....he grew up about 50 miles south of here, but I did know that at one point he had a brother that lived about 10 miles from where I live now.....actually it is the next town. When Kevin and I started dating, he told me he knew a guy from that town with the same last name as me, but a slightly different spelling. So I have been wondering and wondering if he is my cousin. I even went as far one time to finding out where the guy worked and called there for him, but he no longer worked there. Earlier in the week I was reading the youth section in the paper and it had results from the age group one over Jess....there was a girl with my maiden name spelled different, so I assumed it was that guys daughter. My friend has a girl on that same team so we were making plans to go to the field today as they have a home game. So last night I was telling all of this to another friend of mine when one of the mom's was listening to this too, and she says "thats my BF's last name". So I ask if her DH is Curt and she says yes. I then ask if his dad is John, so she texts and we find out yes, then I ask if his Grandpa is Durb, she texts back yes. Unfortunately, they were leaving for vacation last night, but they asked for my phone number and are going to call me when they get back and she was also going to give the number to her MIL. I am sooo excited. I am really hoping now to find more info out my grandpa and where exactly he grew up, as these are things that I have never been told. Because of some bad things that had happened in the past, he lost touch with his brothers and they never reconciled before he died.

So anyway.....on tap for today is relay for life. I have to walk with the team at 9:45 and then at 4 this afternoon....just when thunderstorms are set to come through. Nice. I walk again Sunday morning at 7. Can you say A/P's?

Morning....got a horse show that we have to work today...hoping I am not in the concession stand...things got some better as yesterday went on but still very nervous and stomach tied up in knots literally. Haven't heard a peep from DS and that doesn't help matters--I really had expected to hear something from him by now and not just a relay down a chain from this one to that "hey he said tell yall hey". This either means he is having the time of his life down there or either he is in jail and can't call home or won't???? (awww..how the mind plays tricks on you)

Eating yesterday was awesome--I ate a tiny bit of supper last night and that was it. Lovely..huh??? Wasn't sure I was going to be able to keep that down. Crazy how nerves really do a number on your body.

Jilli..have a blast tonight and enjoy it!!!! We all deserve a little drinking night now and then and thanks for the prayers!

Jen..awesome news about your family. Hope you have a great weekend...trying to firm up my plans for tommorrow..suppose to meet my parents for lunch somewhere and then DD's b/f calls last night and his entire family is going to be out of town starting tonight with his sis except him so now trying to fit him into the schedule as well..."he is so pitiful, mama, and will have nobody at his house from tonight through tommorrow night" but don't tell me the kid didn't plan to stay home...LOL!!!!!

Morning girls! Busy day on tap for me. Gotta get that workout in to get things started. Then I have to clean this pig sty as we are having company for a cookout. Of course I have waited to the last minute to go the the store. They are coming over at 4:00 so the pressure is on! With all that we have to get DH ready to leave for France tomorrow. UGH.... Good thing I work well under pressure.

Groggy this morning...need lots of coffee...I didn't sleep well last night. I got in a fight with Ashley yesterday before I dropped her off at her friends house. She thinks I am mean and yell at her all the time. I think I am a cool Mom and let her get away with a lot. She says I need to go on that Nanny show....Last Friday night Ashley left the front door unlocked and one of the neighborhood boys decided to let himself in and stole 116.00 out of my DH's dresser drawer. We know it was him because he called Ashley and asked her where we were around the time we felt the incident occured. Plus, when we got home we noticed the front door unlocked but did not think anything of it until the next day when we noticed the money missing. We didn't accuse Ashley but did get angry at her for leaving the door unlocked. She then told us about the boy calling while we were all gone to see where we were.....Anyway, yesterday she left the back door unlocked and when I get mad she tells me "Well I asked all my friends and they said it is not my fault...leaving the door unlocked was an accident....I didn't tell the boy to come in and steal"...I was fuming! First, he knew where the money was because when Ashley was looking for her cell phone when she was grounded once, her and the boy discovered it in my DH's drawer....So, A, she left the door unlocked, B, it was her friend, and C she showed him the drawer while looking for her cell phone. I get frustrated with her because I feel she doesn't listen and I have to ask her things over and over...not to mention we feel underappreciated because she does get to do a lot. I am a red head and I do have a teensy temper (LOL) but for the most part I think I am a good MOm. We have open communication and she can tell me anything. So when I get told "I don't like you and you suck as a Mom" and then I yell back well maybe you should move out! Anyway, I tossed and turned last night and prayed for a better relationship with my DD. 13 is a hard age and I just hope it doesn't get worse before it gets better!!!

On a different note, kickboxing at 1045, bacholorette party tonight.....more coffee...

Things are interesting around here man. Dh still has a job thank goodness, but will be spinning off with the cell phones division. He has NO IDEA what that means, and neither do I, other than LOOK FOR A NEW FREAKING JOB ALREADY. He lost some friends in this round of layoffs, and will be losing his boss on July 1 and getting a new one shortly after. I feel like we dodged the bullet, but this time we need to get out for real. He can't hide from it any longer. He knows how lucky he was though, so maybe that will spur some action. I'm already annoyed with him, because with a bad back, he's sitting in that computer chair for hours already playing world of warcraft. I swear I want to emove that game from the computer and throw it down the sewar.

Anyway...as you can guess, eating has not been good. I put 2 lbs back on while I was away, which is pretty good considering, so it's time to buckle down again.

Jilli-enjoy the movie and the cosmos. Every girl needs a pink drink night every once in awhile. Hope verizon gets a clue soon.

Jen-how cool. Sounds like a fun adventure you're embarking on with your grandpa. Have fun learning about your family.

Terry-take it easy. Jody is FINE. He's with family, isn't he? If he were in jail, you would know. He's not in jail, he's just a college bound boy having a good time in Mexico. And don't worry about his admission...from a girl who worked in higher ed for years...no admission application is cancelled during the summer for an immunization form. That stuff will happen after they get there, but not during the summer. Relax, and just get it handled as soon as you can so it's off your head. I hope that whatever is going on in your personal life resolves itself soon.

Allison-wow, I'd be bringing the hammer down on that fast. She sounds like I was at that age. Every 13 year old thinks their mother is the meanest mother on the block, but you can't let that get to you. She was wrong and as a result your family lost $$. There should be a consequence to that.

Em-wow, France at the last minute eh? Nice. Enjoy the cookout.

Lizzy-hope the weekend with mom isn't too crazy. Glad the heat has let up a bit.

how's it hangin...well it is sounding like everyone has a full plate at the moment. yikes!!
yesterday i played hooky and went to my nephews graduation...and sobbed like a baby. i do not know what hit me but when the music started..the old pomp and circumstance-i crumbled. food wasn't fab-i didn't eat a thing before the graduation and the family luncheon was at a mexican restaurant
anyways it wasn't perfect but i am not dwelling on it or letting it ruin my momentum. new day, i just ate a healthy breakfast and am planning on continuing on.

have a great saturday my busy little bees, i am going to work to catch up
on what i missed out on yesterday-i sneaked a peek and it's not pretty...28 voicemails and 37 emails. lord help me!!

Morning Everyone! Seems like since DH's Brother died my life as been crazy and stressful. I haven't been posting much and I haven't accomplished much either. But this morning I woke up threw on some clothes and headed to the gym. I feel great. I'm going to monitor my food and journal and let go! Hugs to you all! BB Soon!
