Dang...it is 4:20 am and I am up...worrying about what is going to happen this morning about DS and the housing issue @ college and trying to figure out why the admissions office was calling yesterday. My mom called last night and offered to ride with me but think I just want to be by myself in case it all falls through today, I can just cry myself back home . I am pretty pissed over the fact that I got an email last Fri from the college giving DS his placement testing schedule for July 10th and then another on Monday giving him his orientation date of August 8th but nobody bothered to let us know we were not on schedule with the housing part. Makes me wonder now whether these people are on their game or not

Okay..going to watch some TV and try to relax...I am so freaking bummed right now. Oh and did I mention that I have to go into work once I get back..so I am looking at a 1.5 hour drive one way this morning, meeting with admissions, meeting with housing and then 1.5 back home only to turn around and drive 25 min into work and they would like me there by 12 if possible ...planning to leave here by 6:30.

Terry - first of all, let me just say that you are a great mom! My parent's response if I had screwed up and not gotten my housing application in on time would have been: "well honey, part of being an adult is being responsible and meeting deadlines. That really sucks. Guess you'll be working full-time until they can work you in for housing and you can start then". They certainly would not be running around trying to fix it. That's very sweet of you...hopefully he will appreciate it and you will give him a swift kick in the tush when he gets home

So, here I am procrastinating getting in the shower and heading into work. Talk about needing a swift kick in the tush! Yikes... . Went out for margaritas with some friends last night. I split an order of chicken fajitas with a friend and only had one margarita, so feel I did pretty good. Oh, and to add to my emotional upheaval yesterday, the mass that I had removed in Simon's mouth is back... . Need to call the oncologist at Purdue today and see what she recommends. Jim recommends getting rid of the cat....I recommend getting rid of the husband. Of the two of them, I certainly know who's sweeter, however, I doubt either would save the bird .

Ok, enough procrastination. I need to update my WW food tracker and head to work. Blah! Did I already say that? Blah again!

Quicky here since I couldn't get my ass out of bed this morning. I could not fall asleep for anything last night. I think part of it was that I was so mad at Kevin....he decided to get a little drunk last night.....then Devan lost his Nike flip flops, Garrett broke his new glasses(3rd pair in 2 years). ugh

I didn't get the bike ride in as I wanted either. Garrett's ride to practice fell through so I had to get him almost 10 miles out to the practice field and then get back for the girls game that was starting at the same time.

This weekend will be busy....I am on a relay for life team and that is this weekend. I walk at 11 tomorrow...after doing the team walk right before that, then I walk again at 7 am Sunday. I still have to finish making my raffle basket. It's filled with Yankee candles, but I still need a couple of more things in there, so that is on tap tonight.

Also tonight Garrett and Blair play at 5:30 on adjoining fields. Garrett might be making his pitching debut. Since he is the youngest on the team he didn't get that opportunity earlier in the season.....plus the coaches kids both pitch. But last week at practice when one of his kids was pitching wild at practice Garrett laughed and the coach basically said do you think you can do better...smart ass boy said yes. He went up there and struck out 4 kids. hehehehe So last night he had him pitch in practice again to see if that was a fluke but he struck out 3 walked 1. Devan and his friend Justin have been working with him the past few weeks....plus Dev was teaching him last year behind our backs for a bit.

Oh well.
In food news, I did good yesterday again....threading the good days together.

I have to run....gotta get outta here.

Morning Ladies! Quick check in from me before I go get my workout in. DH had outpatient surgery yesterday and did well. BUT, he will be home today recovering. We will see if he stays out of my way. There is a chance he is heading to France on Sunday for work. It always amazes me that he finds these things ou last minute. You would think the company could plan a little ahead and save some money. He asked if I wanted to go but there is no way we are shellingout money for a last minute ticket. IT was thoughtful of him to want to take me. Well, better go get my day started...playing catch up after sitting in the waiting room all day yesterday.

Jen- Ashley has lost more sliders (flip flops) after softball games and several pair of glasses along the way....that's what I love about you girls, it reminds me how much we are all alike and go through the same trials etc.

Not much on the agenda for me today. I have one assignment to work on this morning...kickboxing at 945...and maybe the pool this afternoon..we'll see....I have not journaled in the past few days because I was to lazy to erase and old journal and reuse it...bad Allison...journaling is key for me to stay on track!!!! So, I erased an old one and made copies so no excuse today for slacking! Yesterday before the movies I stopped and got jalapeno Chex mix thinking that would be better than candy or popcorn..OMG 12 points for the bag and I ate them all. I ate salad and popcorn the rest of the day but what a suprise and bummer! Well ladies, better get some work done and start my day!

Blah is right! Having my coffee and trying to see what I'm going to do today. i should work a bit. Didn't check my email at all yesterday and I had a help message from the gal I work for about needing a report STAT! I just saw it this am and did it right away. I wonder why she didn't call me? Hmmm....strange...anyway I need to buckle down and get some reports out. Maybe we can get to the pool later in the afternoon!?

Hey girls, dragging today too! Didn't get to bed until 1:00 and then I was up at 6:00 to let the dog out. He slept like a rock with me until then though so I should be glad, I guess... Tonight we are going to a dinner party at the country club for a company that Billy's company does alot of work for. They put on a benefit golf tournament and then "feed and hydrate" everyone the night before. I did GREAT yesterday and actually had 5 points leftover that I honestly couldn't get in. I have NO intention whatsoever of ruining that tonight. Billy told me what I could expect in the way of food and I know what I drink, so I should definitely be fine.
