Ashley is on a select basketball team and has a game in BFE tonight. In fact, every Tuesday and Thursday for the next 3 weeks. Wow..this looks so good with everybody posting during the day..love it, love it!!! Okay..it is 101 on the time/temp clock outside..I am officially burning up. DD called and said the a/c is steady pumping at home and the indoor temp is 76...can we just see that light bill???? Damn!!!!

Lori..vet came by to check horsey and said she is on the road to recovery..gotta finish up the naxsel (sp?) and start exercising her every afternoon and put her back with the horses on Thurs. DD said she called and asked if she was doing any better and did she think she should stop by and DD told her heck yeah, you need to come by...LOL!!! Forgot to tell you that the Tenn Walker colt left Sun for his return to Tennessee..I have to admit I cried but it is better this way...also BIL's kids ended up talking DH out the other horse we were trying to sell so she is gone now too but only across the field..not a bad deal I guess except no money exchanged hands. I just hope the kids give her the attention and love she so desperately demands and needs.

hey chicks...just a quick check in, i can't seem to prioritize and get anything accomplished. so i thought i'd post here, go peepee and collect my thoughts.
work is busy-just not as busy as it should be for this time of year. kinda scary!
so i made it through yesterday without a slip. i was craving junk right before bed-but thankfully i resisted. i have so many reasons to lose weight and i need to constantly remind myself of what those are.

Well my plans for the day got shot to hell in a handbasket. I was going to shop for some "outdoor" stuff... but my kids wanted to do other stuff. Since gas is $4 a gallon I decided to stay put too. I cleaned my house yesterday so there's nothing to do but read or play on the computer. We have ballgames tonight so that means concession stand duty. Such is my life! LOL

Hey Terry, I have been itching to do a bakesale or car wash, LOL, we can hold a fundraiser for your electric bill. LOL
Honestly, I am in the same boat, but I keep mine at 72 so it's likely to be outrageous and it's usually around $175 anyway! My water bill was $88 this month from watering alone! We better not let Angela catch us bitching about electric bills... remember when hers was the cost of a used car a couple of years ago?!

and ya coming from the land of price gouging i am literally about ready to throw in the towel and move to the forest.
summer prices haven't hit and our electric is at $300, water at $200 and i paid $4.55 for gas yesterday. diesel is up to $5.25. insane i tell ya. the thought of it getting worse gives me stomach aches. but i know life could be worse, as jilli reminded me last night.
hey if i move to the forest surely i will lose 20lbs rather rapidly. my thighs are hurting in these so called stretch jeans i am donning.

can i also say it is so hard to work with someone who doesn't care about
their health or weight, i swear the food concoctions my coworker comes
up with have me salivating. it's hard to enjoy a crummy frozen meal when the chubbster across the way has cheesy ooey gooey yummy stuff. i find myself
