Okay..this summer is NOT going to be fun...it is 4:50 and I am up and have DH off to work and have 10 minutes before time to get DS up so he can leave for work by 5:30....uggg!!! It is his first day on the construction job !!!!! DD has cheering day camp today through Thurs so I have to get her into town by 8 every morning...

Down another 1/2 lb this morning with w/i!!!!! Wish all these leftovers from the party were gone already ...did great until last night and hit the bag of cookies...sending 1 bag with DS this morning to work..let the construction guys eat'm, took the leftover cake to my MIL last night so now have 1 more bag of cookies and then 2 bags of candy to get rid of...tried to get DD & b/f to eat it yesterday but they are both "watching their weight"...LOL!!!!

Lori...did you see where we have bought the palimino??? Got a payment plan
Barb..had "meet the parents" last night literally...I was supposed to take "him" back home last night but his mom & dad showed up unannounced...thank goodness the house was presentable..they stayed for over an hour just chatting...said they just wanted to see where he was spending all his time at lately...LOL!!!!

Okay..gotta go and wake up the new worker......

Lizzy - wow about the ad and Mom. That must be hard...hang in there. Hey, I did find Bluff and sent her an email and an invite. Not sure if she'll show up or not. Sounds like she's busy busy with the girls, but I told her to stop by and say hello if she gets a chance b/c we all miss her.

Good morning ladies...

I am up early this morning and already getting things done. I have decided that this summer I am just going to stay close to home. I will be working a little here and there for WW....and doing leader training in July, but other than that, I am going to exercise near home....do my yoga practice mainly here at home.....and just enjoy my house for the summer.....hoping that this will offset the driving that I do during the school year. We will see how this works....but I am just sick about filling my car at $3.93 a gallon.

Lizzy- I am sorry that your mom is giving you trouble. Good luck with all of that.

Hey ladies, finals week for me this week. I have a 2000 word essay to write in my teaching class and a major math exam. Ashley and my DH are not getting along at all. It just keeps getting worse and I am always in the middle. She doesn't listen or want to keep her room clean and then he gets angry. Her real Dad doesn't pay child support so my DH does everything for her and feels underappreciated. It's a vicious circle there in and I'm at my wits end trying to deal with the two of them!!! Anyway, I did good at the bridal shower yesterday. I had shrimp cocktail, shrimp chevice, and veggies with dip. I skipped the desert and had only one Mimosa. So, I'd say that was pretty good considering all the yummy choices I skipped!! Well, busy day for me so I better get started!!!

Was MIA again all weekend! LOL! Saturday Holly and I hung around the pool. i did laps and she just played!
Yesterday I cleaned her room practically all day long! Not fun when she insists on keeping things I gave to the charity basket! LOL! Gotta do it while she isn't her!
Getting ready for company this weekend. Steve's sis is coming and she hasn't been here since we moved in last year! I can't believe it's already going to be a year! Wow time flies!
Anyway gotta PTA meeting this morning that I need to finish up the agenda for so I better scoot!

Terry~ Ah a meeting! That's a good thing! Sounds like you guys got a long well for them to stay that long! What did DH say about it? Ty came over on Saturday but don't know where he was on Sunday!. Hope Jody enjoys his new job! What kind of construction is he doing?

Allison~ I feel for you girl! It's hard to be in the middle! How old is she now? I have battles constantly about Chy and her room, it's disgusting! She needs to do something this summer but wants to just hang out instead! Good luck! Have you tried sitting down with both of them and talking it out?

Barbie- She's 13 and I just hope we haven't let this whole situation get to far out of hand between the two of them.... there is like no love between them at all. It's sad. She's never called him Dad and he has been raising her since she was 5. It hasn't always been this way but as we have entered the teenage era it has gottne worse. I think the next step may be family counseling....we'll see..... Sounds like you had a nice weekend hanging out at the pool!!

I know a lot of us are MIA but I am most suprised to not see Jen around.... Did I miss something? Is her new job just keeping her busy?

Hey ladies, I said I was going to do better about checking in and that has not happened yet. Today is DH 35th birthday! I am going to make him a cake later and it is a good thing that his favorite cake is not something I like! Went to eat at Chili's, I had soup and salad!
