Morning girls...whew a long day in store today...I am up getting ready for work so that I can drive DD into school ..guess my life just got difficult again but it has been a nice 2.5 years. Now I will be back at work in the am over an hour before we open up...UGGG! DD has cheering after school and then she is off to stay with the b/f while I go to DS's award night which starts at 7 but due to crowd that is expected and it is 1st come/1st serve, I am planning to get there by 6....that is supposed to last about 2 hours...so I am looking at being gone today from 7:15 - around 10 tonight. YUCK!

Weekend was good--I got lots of rest but not actually sleep. Hope the rest part helps me keep my act together the next couple of days...got very weepy yesterday when DS brought in his grad pictures. I hate the feeling that I am literrally ready to explode any moment into a hormonal female mess Eating was good and my w/i yesterday was 6 lbs down from 2 weeks ago! WOO HOO!!! Actually got back into a pair of black dress pants Sunday afternoon that I had tossed aside after putting back on 10 lbs.

I'll check in a bit later from work...should have plenty of time for that.

ex finally got his act together and we're going out for a belated b'day dinner tonight. Not too many choices for me since it's a seafood place, & I usually dont do seafood. Looking forward to a 4 day work week.

Terry- ugh about driving DD to school now and being a bit too early for work, could you do flex time?

I took a vacation day today. Got a meeting with the attorney about setting up my own practice and the steps that need to happen over the next 16 months. Exciting and terrifying all at the same time . Hope you all had a good weekend. Got to spend some time with Jim for a change so that was good. We went to see the new Indiana Jones movie. It was ok, but not my fav by far.

Terry - I suspect this will be a rough week for you. Congrats on that fantastic weigh in! I have my first one tonight. Keep me posted on the palomino.

Lizzy - glad the ex has stepped it up. Hang in there.

Terry-WTG in the weight loss!! I read one post where you were skipping meals! Did you figure out a way to eat just vegetables for dinner at least? Sometimes for dinner I'll just have cabbage with soy sauce and spray butter if I am trying to eat light. Or a bag of veggies with FF cheese.

Lizzy- Sorry I missed your birthday!! Happy Belated birthday! Have a nice time with the Ex!

So I know I come strolling in saying I am getting back on track and then I dissappear again....Life happens and I just spend so much time on school work. More time than I ever imagined! I sit at my desk so much that I think I put on the Freshman 10! lol Anyway, it has been a good few weeks eating and exercising and I started journaling again yesterday. Nothing else really new...the husband and kids are fine..same ol same ol! Love ya!

Man, I just read the posts and freaked out. I knew Lizzy's bday was in August, but then I read her post and Allison's post! LOL Now, I feel better that I didn't miss any bday changes! LOL
We finally got back home last night about 8:30... broke but happy! LOL Any dang thing my kids wanted to do "daddy" said "ok" to! UGH! I am all about having fun, but within limits (esp with $4 gallon gas). My cousin's wedding was straight out of "My Redneck Wedding" including their 9 month old daughter falling out of the wagon that was pulling her down the aisle (she was strapped in so she was dangling... sure you can get the picture.) It was outside so she came up with dirt all over her mouth and nose. My poor mom had to reach out and grab her! Then they have a very calm, albino looking, pitbull... pregnant just milling about the ceremony. The groom forgot the wedding rings in the jewelry box of their room, and the him and his groomsman were dressed in tuxedo T-SHIRTS!! LOL I am not kidding, I have NEVER been to a wedding like that in my life, but it was fun! LOL
When I got home last night I weighed myself. It really wasn't fair because I was traveling nearly non-stop the entire time we were there plus 6 hourse to and from, but I weighed THE most I have weighed since I lost my weight the first time. I am not ready to write that number (mainly because I know that it is unfair and not the entire story) but I am about to stock up on WW food and never look back. I mean it, I have started over 30 freaking times in the last year, but I HAVE to do something. I don't want to look the way I look anymore! See, Allison, I am with you!! LOL

Hey Xan! I was at BBQ after BBQ so I didn't notice "extra" people in town...I wonder why they were all coming here!!?? Actually, there is a lot to do here. Too funny about the wedding!!! At least it wasn't all stuffy and uptight!!lol

Morning ladies...today is the first day of the new summer schedule. A complete failure, lol. I was supposed to get up at 5 to get to the gym...went to the potty and went back to bed. Forgot to set an alarm, so dh overslept (I was going to wake him up when I got back from the gym). Ds of course slept in the big bed last night because he thinks he's spending the whole summer there
So I'm working this morning, ds has an art camp from 12-3 and then I'm hauling his butt to the daycare at the gym while I work out this afternoon.

Much to do this week, getting ready to leave.

Terry-kleenex....lots and lots of it this week. Good w/i. Are we eating yet??? Boy wouldn't it be cool if you could set up a little mini gym at work so you could workout in that hour between dropping dd off and when work starts?

LT-positive vibes for the lawyer meeting. Scary, but this is what you've worked for baby. It's all good.

Lizzy-enjoy your dinner tonight...hope you find something acceptable. I don't do seafood either, so usually opt for a salad.
