Good morning....up with the chickens this morning literally...we actually had something kill one Tues night so we have been kinda up and down all night waiting to see if we caught anything last night messing with them ...DS had finals today so I took last night's watch...nothing exciting happened

DD has cheering tryouts today and she was a nervous wreck last night. I finally just had to get up and go to the bedroom to get away from her nail biting, fidgety hand, hair twirling self. She stayed after yesterday with the captain of the varsity from last year and got some extra pointers and help. It is going to be a VERY L O N G day..............

Tom is kicking my ass this month. No migraine, but everything else is blah.

I had a long night at the ballfield last night. It was soooo cold up there and Garrett had a doubleheader. UGH. Tonight is Jess game, Garrett practice, Blair game. So I will be there from 5 until about 9. Double ugh.
I am on a half day today as I have Jess' year end appraisal for gifted. We basically go over how she did this year and then they tell me she is in it again next year. I wish they would just move here up a grade instead. This year she was in 5th grade classes in the morning, then 4th in the afternoon. The 5th graders are basically the same age as her because her birthdate falls after the cutoff. so that was no big deal for her. Plus all the friends she has made are all in 5th. The fun part is them planning her "upgrade" classes without putting her in one of Blair's classrooms.

Work has been busy all week, but I have a pretty good handle on everything and find myself needing more to do. I am probably going to start taking some things from my boss here soon to help his huge workload.

kind of wiped out this morning. Watched Idol last night. so glad Cook won. Real glad that Simon actually apologized for his comments the night before.
Also very sore in my legs from bowling.Was fine during the day yesterday until it was time to go home, had a hard time dealing w/ all the stairs @ work. Took a nite off from exercise and did a few stretches. still a bit sore today.

Lori- glad you love your leade. you know what to do, you'll get back down again
Terry- yipes about the chicken and the previous nites storm. GL to DD for the tryouts!!!
Barb- whoo hoo about Cook, w/ 12 million votes difference there's a lot of people that felt that way too about him
Liz- hope the bathing suit hunt went ok, gl getting that exercise in

Jen- don't know how you can keep up that schedule. yipes.

still in a bit of a funk from my vacation. fingers crossed this long weekend no negativity!!!

Ohh, I want to go snuggle back in bed! I think I feel wiped out from excercising, which is good but I did 2 videos feeling guilty for Mon., & Tues., tonight is W-I so we'll see. I'm happy too with David Cook...DS and I were clapping out little hearts out . Have a good day ladies!

Wow am I glad David Cook won! We were jumping around too! I wish it wasn't such a long show, half of it is so cheesy! Loved Brian Adams and George Michael! (Were seeing him in June!)
Working today and Chy has her last finals and then she is done with school! She is excited. Last night I helped her study and she knew every (68) world history question! I was impressed! I'll be on throughout the day!

It's very pretty here this morning. Sun is shining, 62 degrees....gorgeous! Yesterday was a long day. Didn't get home until 9:15, but no complaining b/c today I am working from home! Can you tell the excitement hasn't worn off?

WW still going well this week. Going to exercise daily for the next few days b/c I missed yesterday and Tuesday. Soooooo happy that Cook won last night. I just adore him. If I wasn't married and was 20 years younger...LOL!

Count me in the Cook fan majority! I was so excited, but very shocked. I really thought Archuleta had it nailed... particularly since Simon was so harsh on Tuesday night. I think he really did want the "best" David Cook though. I was crying with him when he won, can you just imagine how overwhelming all of that is? LOL
Today is our end of the year party... tomorrow is our end of the year hangover! LOL I'll let you know how it goes! LOL

Quick check-in...yes DD will know something around 7:30 tonight...we have 2 people that are going by to check the results that will be posted at the h/s on the door....with all that was going on earlier in the week with the "drama", I am just afraid it has her preoccupied and not her normal 100%. She texted me earlier that she was so nervous she thought she was going to throw up and she still has almost 4 hours until try-outs..LORD HELP US!!!!!
Barb & Xan...DS texted earlier (looks like he would have learned his lesson with damn cell phone @ school but.............) and he exempted his economics and statistics exams!!! WOO HOO!!! I am hoping this means he has a great average for this semester and maybe it will knock him right into the lottery scholarship range....but with our luck...NOT!!!!
Lori...she is a beauty isn't she...yeah we are clueless on the chicken deal..it was on a tie out cord...set traps last night but no cigar!
