Morning girlies! Up early this morning...couldn't sleep..lots of tossing and turning...much confusion and teenage drama around here last night ..DS had been dating a girl for over a month and he chose to not see her this past weekend and they are caplunk now (I had serious issues with this one anyway due to the age difference) so we were dealing with that and then DD & I stopped by the little league game in town to watch my nephew play ball and she had several h/s kids take her aside and let her know that she did NOT need to be messing with this new guy but gave her no reason...not sure what is up there but DS said he was going to check into it a bit further and the "ex"girlfriend will not even so much as look her way now although it all started after their break-up. Poor kid...she was wanting to talk to him sooo bad last night and guess what..1st night in like 2 weeks no phone call so after all that crap she cried herself to sleep...they did message on myspace for a short while but now I have all these mixed feelings about all this because I certainly do not want my baby girl to get a heartbreak...the kids that were "harassing" her were just majorly down on him but these also are just acquaintances..not friends of hers or his (After sleeping on it over night, I am seriously thinking it is an issue of being from the wrong side of the tracks so to speak but hey we are not country club people EITHER) Lord, young love--and a freaking double dose here last night

Soooo I am down another 2 lbs this morning...but I should be I am literally starving!!!! I knew if I was going to get that weight gain off, it had to be cold turkey or nothing...trying to eat breakfast, very light mid-afternoon lunch and then nothing else if I can help it for the rest of the day. Just hope I can hold onto weight loss until w/i.

Gotta scoot for now...DD is moving around..bbl..oh any advise any of you can give me to help me with her...PLEASE TELL ME!!!!!!!

Morning Lizzy...sending control vibes with the pizza!!

Okay..DD is much better this morning..he called her cell 3 times last night but it was after 10:30 and she was already asleep (his cell phone gotten taken by his parents for bad grades and he was sneaking and using the house phone and had to wait on everybody to go to sleep)..he left her 3 sweet messages and told her he would see or talk to her this afternoon. She like me has decided that the ones that were giving her the unwanted advice have problems with him because he is not high society. And the "ex" messaged her on myspace last night and said she would get over it all and she didn't hate DD but that she still felt like something had been going on behind her back for a while (She is WRONG THERE!) and she just had to get past all that. Thank goodness summer will be here very shortly and DD will not have to see all these people and she can see him only without interference!!! Sorry for the drama but I think the lack of sleep and worriation-I just had to tell you girls what I was happening!

Lori...we are downsizing with the horses...we are sending the colt back to the original owners of his mom...not sure if you remember but she was pregnant when we got her but it was a surprise to all of us and it was said if we decided we did not want the baby, they had first option to take him back so better to send him back home and just have one less mouth to feed, etc than trying to keep him and not do him justice...also had somebody come and look at Brandy last night (the older horse with cushings) and he is thinking on her and then we have somebody else that may be interested in using her as a training horse @ kids riding lessons. We are only asking $400 for her. DD & DH decided to keep the horse she had been trying for the past 8 weeks on the barrels..she is a palmino qrt horse and she is running excellent times on the barrels. Taking all 3 barrel horses Sat to a jackpot show so pending how the palimino does at that, we are planning to call the owner and buy her.

Good Morning.

Is it the weekend yet? LOL Hey at least it's not because I hate my job. Yes I am still liking it alot. I just want a couple of days to relax.

I was a good girl and journaled yesterday and even exercised last night. Didn't throw a tape in, but I used the ball and some weights, etc while watching TV. I told myself I was not allowed to just sit and watch TV. Even this morning I got up and exercised too.

Here is some younger kid "drama"......Jess wants to shave her legs. I have been against it, but the more I am thinking of it, I might let her. She does have very hairy legs...nothing under the arms yet though. She has started to develop up top too. I can't remember how old I was when I shaved my legs. But anyway, I am thinking someone made fun of her legs and that is what is causing this. So tonight after her game I am going to sit and explain to her that it's not something you can do once and thats it and see where it goes from there.

Terry.......My only advice for Kimberly is.....she has to sort the bf issue out herself. If she likes him and has enough of a friendship with him and he is nice to her, then there should be no issue...but she has to figure it out on her own. As for Jody......he is going off to college soon and should just enjoy his summer with his buddies...the age difference is what is making it hard because she is immature. Did you workout this morning too?

Lizzy.....have fun at the bowlathon!!!!! That sounds like alot of fun...just focus on that.

Alrighty....I have to start getting ready for work.

Have a great dsay everyone!

Terry.......

Jen..I would let her shave them...my mom did not let me until I was 13 and I HATED it..I was embarrassed and ashamed of my legs...I let DD start in the 5th grade..I meant she would not have to go through what I did!!!!

And no work-out...ate some pancakes after my 2nd post and ended up with severe upset stomach..not sure if something brewing or just from lack of eating.

Both kids are off to school..DS has today & tommorrow and then finals Thurs & Fri...I don't think that was helping my mood last night either..so much going on with graduation, end of school, JV cheering tryouts are this week and then all that crapola to boot!!!!! Okay..will not bug you girls anymore today with it...

Good morning

You guys crack me up...makes me happy to have the four legged variety. They worry me enough...I would be a horrible mom...worried all the time, hovering, etc. LOL.

Jen - I vote let her shave! My mom wouldn't let me until I was 13 either and I had very hairy legs and was soooo embarrassed. I even tried Nair to get around the shaving angle (technically it wasn't shaving...) and had a horrible skin reaction and ended up in the ER...oops! So glad you're liking your job!

Terry - sigh...poor kids. I didn't know you had a horse with Cushings! Do you use pergolide on him/her? It's been so hard to get. Send me some pics of the palomino...always wanted one of those. There's still time. I have got to get a barn!

Lizzy -anti-pizza vibes coming your way How is Athena doing?

Barb - my Christmas card to Bluff got returned so I'm assuming she has moved at this point. I need to try and track her down. Miss her!!

Sue - I think I'm going to get the F11. I found a discount code and got it for just a little over $100.

Ok, I need to log on and be "at work" now. Excited to go back to my WW meeting with my old leader tonight. Yeah!

Have a great day guys

Morning chicas...hot hot hot here again today. Supposed to cool down soon, but man, it's too early for 109. I checked in on my friend yesterday afternoon...brought her some chocolate covered cupcakes from whole foods. She does NOT have a weight issue, lol. The extra added bonus is that her AC is not working and it looks like it needs to be replaced to the tune of 11K. Crazy. She has this pattern where things start to happen to her, and it actually gets so bad it becomes absurd.

On the way home I had to stop at cold stone creamery, since that is the ONLY place on earth you can get banana ice cream, and I am making the famed banana ice cream cake with brownies and toasted coconut for a friends birthday party this weekend. Ds wanted ice cream, so I got him some, and I got a "Lifestyle smoothie". It was yummy, Mango Pineapple-250 cal and 2 gms fat. Not bad. I did ask for the lowest cal choice. They also have a fat free frozen yogurt, soft serve, that is 25 cal per oz. Nice to see them branching out in the choice dept.

On the table today is work, work, work. Lots to do there. I also need to tidy my kitchen which is a mess, and I'd like to hit two cycling classes today, one at 9am and one at 4:30-which means putting ds in daycare at the gym, but he'll have to get used to that. Ds has a class party at 2pm and I'd like to show up there to give his teacher a parting gift, especially since we don't know yet if we'll be back next year. I need to pick up a little something for her.

Lori-the F11 is nice...it was 149.99 on sale, so I didn't grab it. I probably could have gotten it cheaper online, but I was in the "I need it NOW" mindset, lol. It's got some cool functions. Enjoy it!

Jen-I'm on the crunchier side...but I draw the line at hairy legs and armpits, lol. My guess is that you're right, someone probably teased her, and if that's the case I would def let her do it. It's gonna happen anyway right, and I'd hate to have her try a nair experience like Lori did. I developed earlier than the other girls and that was hard.

Terry-I wish I had some words of wisdom for ya. I would definitely see if ds can find out some more dirt on the new bf, just to be on the safe side, but generally girls are catty and just want to be involved in stuff that isn't their business. I could never teach middle school...I'd be smacking them all the time

Good news...My niece called me last night and told me that she's gotten engaged. He's a good guy, and we kind of new he was the one when we first met him...he played card games with ds for hours the first year he came up to my moms at Christmas...next summer, wedding in Ft. Collins, CO. Maybe I'll be at goal by then You know I live for event pressure.

Ok, gotta run.
Peace out ladies,
Sue

hey chicks...horrible night of sleep. grrrr. just sipping my coffee-waiting for
it to kick in.

thought i'd chime in with some opinions

jen: i started shaving in the 6th grade-i think i was 11. uh i'm hispanic with fair skin-and super dark hair. i was sooo self concious. i let brittnie start shaving the summer before 6th grade-she had super hairy legs-it was that
really light blonde hair-but she had lots of it-and of course since kids are shitty everywhere-she had been teased about it.

terry: first off i'm going to say EAT woman. cold turkey can lead to binging...throwing in the towel early...or like in your case an upset stomach.
and as far as the kids go-i agree with jen-jody should enjoy his summer!
and it looks like the kimberly issue worked itself out. those other kids need to buzz off and mind there own bees wax!

lizzy: welcome home traveler. have fun bowling...sending you strong vibes-pizza is such a weakness for me too-you can do it.

Morning Chicas! Not much to report just looking forward to the weekend and getting outta work! Had a little bad accident last night, I was mincing garlic and my thumb became part of the mincing , needless to say I didn't release how much you need your thumb. Hope you ladies have a great day!! off to the "hellhole"!

Lizzy~ Enjoy bowling, can't wait to see some pics!

Terry~ Oh my girlfriend!! I'll be coming to you when I have these issues but I agree with Jen too! I know it must feel horrible to hear DD cry over these issues. ((HUGS))

Lori~ Here sweetie pie, glad to see you can work from home!

Sue~ When are you coming to PA, do you go to MayFair?

Jen~ I would let her shave, also remembering my childhood. You have a good idea to sit with her and go over the maintenance.

Anna~Hey little lady, I see you enjoy the heat, I guess I would be visiting in the fall.
