morning...ugh it's way too early...anyway, just a quickie before i head out...too tired for correct punctuation, lol. had a great 1st day back on track again, got my breakfast packed to go to work with me, house is clean, laundry caught up, life is good! ok, i'm off to flat iron, i went to bed with wet hair last night...........................................SC ARY....lol

Morning chicks...slept later than I meant to (yeah, I know..lazy!), rushing around now trying to stay on time...kids are off...DS is on the final countdown..think he has like 3-4 days left and then a couple of exam days. Got his 1st grad present last night--$$--works for him!!! Dance went great last night and baseball team won the playoff game for state so we have 1 to go on Friday. I watched the game until the 9th hour before going in to watch DS in the dance and they had the opening number so I was back out of there in 12 min flat for the rest of the game. Got final performance tonight so DD & I are heading back after work to catch him again.

Barb..he met her at the game last night...and meeting us at the dance tonight..talked again for almost 45 min after we got home...getting very interesting!!!!

Good Morning Ladies.

Already fighting with Garrett this morning....wouldn't get up to bathe after he swore he would this morning instead of last night....won't wear pants, wants shorts, he hates his life at age 6.......wants his hair gelled spikey, but has a buzz cut. AGH I haven't had enough coffee for this crap already this morning.

I definately feel much better this morning. I don't have a clue what the heck that was the other night, but by last night I actually finally ate for the first time since lunch on Tuesday.
Jess had a game last night and she pitched again. They lost 7-6 as the game was called for darkness. What a way to lose. Jess has a habit of blowing the first inning and part way into the second until she finds her rhythym and starts striking girls out...hence the score. And of course we played in the rain to make it such a fun game.

Kevin is coming home later today. He is in Waukegan, IL then next week he goes to Joliet, IL. We like Illinois....union plants with the boilermakers and he gets shop steward pay! WOOHOO. The boilermakers like him being the Supervisor as he is down to earth with them and actually will be hands on. So he will be home, I won't have my kids, but I am sure his kids will be here. I am just going to do my own thing this weekend I think. I really need to finish my work clothes shopping so I might just go do that all day on Saturday. Probably take a drive to Filene's which is near where I used to live in Pittsburgh, but now it is about 60 miles from here. I was always ale to find such nice things there...and their purses!!!!!

Nikki....I love Ikea!!!! The closest one here is near the airport so I don't get there very often. Hope you have a great day!

Liz... thank you for thinking of me with sparring! My advice on a good thing for DS to concentrate on with that is his roundhouse kicks. I was always able to get the smallest target possible for a point by going for the stomach. People tend to get their handguard up around the chest...if you are quick enough you can get under those arms for the point. Another good one is the side of the head with either a ridgehand or hookkick. Also a crescent kick right in front of the face, but you have to have awesome control for that as you can't touch the face in the kids divisions(at least in the point circuits I belonged to).

Morning girls. Harsh reality hit yesterday as I put on a bathing suit for the first time this season. YIKES!!!!! Nothing fits right. I felt like a stuffed sausage. I know I'm heading out to PA on May 31'st, but with the exception of the wedding, and maybe a dinner out for my b'day, I'm going to be totally OP. This is ridiculous. Putting myself on a very strict diet. Couldn't get to the gym last night so I walked the dog. Ran her for a few minutes too, she loves that.

On the list today is gym, work, and then ds has an art show this evening at school. Ds has a birthday party both days this weekend, so there will be plenty of cake and pizza around to tempt me, but I'm going to be strong. I did not like the way I felt around my bikini clad friends. My board shorts were splitting open, and that's not good.

Just got back from walking with my mom! She kept wanting to talk and I just like to walk and listen to my music! Oyyy!! Going to do some laundry folding and vacuum and then maybe hit the pool!

Sue..are these days supposed to be fun because I am NOT having fun....he is the moodest thing I have ever dealt with...geeezzz!!!! He is actually in ISS tommorrow--he has NEVER been in ISS the entire time he has been in high school...guess seniors think they rule???? Now he is on this kick, I have to go to work full time so I should be able to enjoy my freedom--you have had freedom for the past 6 months son--get over it!!!!
