ugh iI feel like I'm on the battlelines here. Definitely major tension bet sis & mom. You gotta stop the petty bickering!!
To top it off, we went over my sis's best friends new apt last night, w/o mom per sis's suggestion.(I thought that her friend had requested it as well) Of course that wasn't the case the friend looked @ sis like she was crazy when she told her) So now mom was all upset,rightfully soo. Looks I'm on decorating crew both for rehearsal and wedding day. I guess the wedding starts @ 5,but they want us there around 4. Supposedly accord to sis, decorating wont take that long.(we'll see )

Going to spend some me time today @ the mall for a few, there was another event sis forgot to mention. so may need to get yet another outfit. Of course, sis is now wearing a more dressier outfit for rehearsal dinner ( even though it's supposed to be causal.
Sis is not keeping up her place either, had to sleep in the living room where she keeps the tv on @ all times. Even w/ the mute button on the light from the tv was too much. Moved the ton of stuff from the couch in the other room so I can sleep. Going to try to get back to sleep for a while.
Probably have woken mom up w/the typing.

Morning Lizzy...sorry things are not going so well...hopefully it is just from the tension of the wedding, etc. Major hugs!!!!

Stayed up this morning and got almost all the grad invites done! WOO HOO!!! Figured out when going back through them that I messed up on 3 of them and have no extra envelopes..thankfully they are good friends and I may just hand deliver..we are on rural routes out here and when they changed us to 911 addresses several years ago some people ended up in a different town mail wise than they were due to smaller towns not running routes only having po boxes and I was going by an old address book--should have known better!!!! Got several that I am trying to get addresses on from friends and got one that had a baby recently and I can't think of the baby's name..YIKES! Can't send it without it!!!!!

For the most part things are quiet here so I am enjoying a little peace before the morning rush!

Good Morning Ladies.

Another morning of waking up tired...at least I got to bed early(9:30) and fell almost immediately asleep. Didn't even hear the phone when Kevin called. LOL
On tap today....it is raining, so I am hoping that there are no games. Dev plays 30 miles away tonight and really I need a night off. My house is a wreck! Plus tomorrow night the big hockey game is happening. I am not a penguins fan, but hockey is my favorite sport. Us neighbors are getting together and I volunteered my living room if it is raining out tom. night.

Lizzy.......Did your mom's Dr ever get her back on track with the meds she didn't want to take? I hope you can enjoy your time down there.

Terry......Oh I hate all those 911 changes! We had them up here a few years ago too. As for the ASA team....why of course it's a traveling team! Anything to make me run a little bit more! LOL

Barb......I wish I could get on here during the day too.....I miss you guys!

Sue.......It's only 2 years since the discharge, but I did get a credit card a couple of months back and my FICO has gone up quite a bit. I really would like another Saturn, but the big problem in that(since I was thinking about it yesterday) is I would have to drive 30 miles to get it serviced. UGH. As I was thinking about that, I am just going to start paying more to get the balance down to make it at least even, then walk in with a down payment and the trade. Sorry you have having issues with Dev. I am always going through it with Jess....I swear I am going to start feeding her midol!!!!!!

Liz......$95 for sparring gear is not that bad. Is he competing? I used to have a gi just for kata and another for kumite.....my kata gi was a Takaido and it cost me $200!!! Gotta hear that snap crackle pop with each punch and kick! LOL I have 10 gi's And my weapons....oy lets see I have 2 bo's, 1 set of Tonfa's, 2 sets of sai's, 1 set of kama's. Oh and sparring gear......I had one set for in the dojo and another for at tournaments. Like I said.....$95 is not bad.

Xan......How did the concession stand go? I have to work it on Saturday and am not happy about it......I will be there for 5 hours. I should have paid not to work it. LOL

Alrighty......I have to start to get ready. I have no clue what I am wearing yet.

Meeting went well last night considering we only had three parents from the new school and three from my pta that I'm in now! LOL! It's ok we'll get more. At least we got the ball rolling and we got ourselves elected! Today I'm meeting with the principal to go over some fundraising stuff and then coming back to work. I'll be on later!

Believe it or not, I was just in the middle of a long post and AOL encountered a problem and disconnected me!!! UGH!!! That was my one shot of the day so now all I have time to do is say Hola!! Will try again soon!

Hi girlies, my arms are killing me!!! I scrubbed a big fry thing and it was DISGUSTING!! It took me 3 solid freaking hours and Cheryl helped for one of those so you can only imagine how gross it was!! LOL Anyway, between that and hauling in all the supplies because my husband was too busy to help me, I definitely earned some major AP's! LOL
Turns out we're not playing tonight because "we're just not ready yet"... you can only imagine how pissed I was to hear that since I had scrubbed for 3 freaking hours. Bunch of damn crybabies! LOL Anyway, so we play tomorrow.
One of my seniors just took his final exam because he'll be gone to state track meet and state baseball during regular testing for seniors. We both cried when he was done. I don't know if I have told you girls what an emotional attachment I have to these particular seniors. A colleague of mine said that has happened to her a couple of times in 25 years. I just feel like I've raised them. We only have 2000 people in this town, so I have known nearly all of them since birth, plus being their class sponsor and teacher for four years. Getting through graduation is going to be tough. Ok, enough of that! LOL

Lizzy: Sorry that your first night there was such a bust. Have fun shopping today! I hope you're one of about 50 decorators if you are going to get that done in an hour! LOL
Jen: I don't envy your running around schedule girlie, no wonder you were so tired!

Hello girls! I've been awol for a few days but it's been really busy around here. I'm really trying hard to get the house in gear and get caught up with things.

DH has been strangely nice for the last couple of weeks...he even wants to take me out for dinner for Mother's Day on Saturday and arranged for his mother to come babysit DD!

Tomorrow night I have my first softball game on this church team I joined...let me tell you girls I am SOOO nervous! I don't think I know anyone on the team!!! Thankfully DH is coming to cheer me on.

Lizzy ~ I'm sorry things are so stressful. Hopefully everyone is feeling a bit calmer today.

Xan ~ I can only imagine how you feel! I think it's really sweet though, to have known all those kids for so long. You're really lucky.

Found out the baby's name..WOO HOO!!!! Also got all the addresses I was needing plus 2 of my co-workers helped me out with a little card to put in the "older" generations invites that just explains that only immediate family will be gettin tickets..I am feeling really good about all I accomplished today! They will be ready for the post office by Sat morning if not before.

Xan..I can completely understand...I have gotten so close to this group this year that DS hangs out with..I am going to do some major boo-hooing!!!!
