Morning scooting by today!
Meeting went well yesterday and got lots of information about my upcoming meeting tomorrow night! Yipes what did I get myself into! It's not like I don't know what I'm doing but starting a PTA from scratch is a bit harder!
Going to run some errands this am and then coming back to work. Took some migraine meds this morning at 4 and starting to feel better. Thought it was sinus stuff but this is the only meds that helped! Who knows!

Hi Chicas! I'm still here so don't forget about the PA girl . I've been trying to catch up here and there. Things are good, although it's funny that when you finally get a little money the "rebate" it just goes. My car needed some wheel bearings??? and there went $375.00, I guess it came at a good time. Excercise is still good, I've been cutting my WW meetings to twice a week for DS sake, poor guy goes every Thurs. with me. I'll be posting more often around lunch time...miss you all!!

Terry~I see you beat me with car problems...holy cow!! Glad you feel better too.

Jen~I'm glad that you are liking this new job, how many people are in the office, how do they dress there??

Oh girls...I am officially old.
I wore the lampshade at dh's 40th birthday party on Saturday, and I've been paying ever since. Too much tequila and not enough food. It was ugly, and I'm still not feeling good. Not much I can put in my stomach still. Thinking that's the last time I'll be touching alcohol for a good long time.

Lizzy-Where did the time go? Happy travels. Enjoy the fun and festivities. Don't let the marriage thing get you down. It is seriously not all it's cracked up to be. I'm watching many of my friends go down in flames, and often wonder, as you know, if I'm headed there myself. I'm a firm believer that our journeys go where they go for a reason, whether we know it at the time or not.

Terry-from the house of tooth pain, I hope it feels better soon. Dh is still in some pain. He sees the oral surgeoun again today for a check up. I think the stitches came out too early.

Xan-don't stay away honey. It doesn't help. We're all struggling to try and give ourselves what we need to succeed. And none of us are perfect. When you're low, this is where you should be.

Barb-ds is a mess after our trip to the zoo over a week ago. I swear it's allergies. I've started him on Zyrtec at night and hopefully that will help. He's been taking claritin but I don't think it's doing anything at all. Feel better.

OK must get some work done since I did NOTHING yesterday.

good morning...yuck it is raining today. i miss my sunshine-it is total gray may, or may gray however you say it. so just another day at work today.
did really well with food yesterday,i i got super hungry while making dinner so i had a couple of almonds and a couple of pita chips w/hummus.

really need to focus again-it is so easy not to care! i think i will make my brother in law's wedding in august my incentive to keep on doing this.

terry: ok girlfriend...we have been doing this together for almost 3 years-let's get our butts in gear!

lizzy: crap i can't believe delta charges for a 2nd bag. southwest lets you check 2 and have 2 carry ons, but if the checked in ones weigh over a certain amount there is a $25 charge. is delta assigned seating or first come first serve?

liz: we would never forget our pennsylvania beauty...and heck yes you can come visit me in cali...anytime!

barbie: wow-our pta pioneer. can you incorporate clifford into your new job?

xan: i've missed you, glad to see your little mug is back!

jen: glad you are getting settled in, i would die if i had to get gussied up for work. actually it would probably be good incentive to get out of the clothing ruts i seem to get in. what city in cali is kevin in?

Hey I'm here, just late. I decided not to let my busy life get in the way of a healthy one today though! We had a teacher appreciation breakfast in the lounge this morning. I ate my muffin and grapes and avoided it like the plague the rest of the morning! I am going to be at a ballgame tonight so it'll be concession stand food. Gotta save calories and points! Plus, Cheryl and I start running our concession stand on Thursday... just thank God we are going to have our own healthy stuff. I am going to start making better choices. I believe I am on the right path for the last 24 hours. I was starving last night so I ate what I wanted, but only what I wanted and then I was done with eating for the rest of the night. I got to adding it up and it wasn't too terrible... only the meat part was bad at all.
I know all about being here when I'm down. I believe that with my whole heart and I have told some of you that countless times, but I was very embarrassed. Even now I HATE for Cheryl to see what I have on my plate in case it isn't "good enough". She hates that I think that way too! LOL
Anyway, better days ahead and I have a picture of myself when I was doing "great" in my wallet as we speak. Brett found it for me and he was like "Mom, you need to look this way again." And, he's right!

Lizzy: I am with Anna, I fly SW and I was shocked that Delta charged extra. I can't wait for you to have a great time!
Jen: Glad you are enjoying your new job. Good job, Garrett! Happy running around!

Hey all! Trying to work but my head is starting to pound again! Icky! I bought some Clorox Green Clean Toilet Bowl cleaner yesterday and that smell is horrible. I need to reclean with something else! Smells like and old person's house that has a dirty poodle (I guess I've been there before) ! LOL! I know it sounds crazy but that is what I remember my dad's mother's house to smell like. My mom says I'm nuts but wait until she comes over and smells it herself!
Ok enough of my madness! Off to type some more before my head explodes........

Hello everyone,
got off the phone for 1/2 my time today. whoo hoo. Need to double check my packing.some stuff I can't pack until tomorrow.
Checked in online, but they dont have an option for 2 bags. So dont know what will happen w/ curbside checkin, or where I'll need to pay the extra fee. They are charging a handling fee as well @ curbside, that doesnt included a tip for the sky caps.
I know a lot of airlines now are limiting or charging extra for the luggage.

Oye...still not able to eat. At least something good came out of fiesta with tequila...I'm sure I'll be down this week, lol.

Xan-people who love you don't want you to feel that way (as Cheryl does) but I'll tell you at some low points, that feeling was the only thing standing between me and a 30 lb gain. You're feeling it for a reason, because you know it's not right. You'll get back there. Use it as a barometer, not a source of guilt. You know how to do this and you know what your red flags are. We've all got your back. Now put some healthy stuff on your plate so you don't have to eat in the closet Stepping of the tequila soaked podium now.....arriba!

Lizzy-Phx isn't charging for curbside yet, but Philly is, as is Newark, so I always get hit in one direction. Honestly, for me it's worth it because I'm usually traveling with Dev, so that small outside line (even in 110 degree heat) is much easier to deal with than the gigantor inside line. We're flying out on US Air (who charges for 2nd bag) and in on SW. Dh is coming out a week later on SW, so anything that doesn't fit into one bag is going with him since SW doesn't charge. Have a great time.

Gotta run again...ds has his choir recital this evening (not to be confused with the 800 other performances over the past 2 weeks) and I have to get dh up from his "catnap".
