hope everyone had a great weekend. Very icky here. From mid afternoon on yesterday, wasnt good. Especially that'll be my last weekend alone until Oct.
Moving on. Kind of depressed that I'm not married by now. But what can you do?

Good Morning Ladies!

It took me a while to get to sleep last night....I hate when Kevin is home and goes back out.

Anyway, I am anticipating a busy day at work. I got a new check printer that I need to set up. Fingers crossed that it works well. Right after work I have to race to the field for Garrett's game. That is what my next 3 days will be like. UGH.
I didn't workout this morning.....just couldn't get up early enough since I couldn't sleep. Hopefully when I get home I can do something. Hey something is better than nothing.

I had a decent day yesterday. Went to pick out paint and a border for the dining room.....Kevin's first honey do when he gets home. After that I went to Dress for Less and bought a few tops and dresses. I am sooooooo not used to this getting dressed for work.

Alrighty....gotta run and get Garrett up.

Lizzy......Don't be upset about not being married. If you married who is to say it would have been right. Do it in your time. Lucky you on the vacation countdown!!!!!!!!

Morning Jen & Lizzy!!! Uggg...7:30 already and barely out of the bed..what the heck is wrong with me anymore??? Had good intentions this morning after DH left and was even watching the local news prior to my working out when bam, I woke up and DD was snuggled beside me and it was sometime after 6:30. I still did not get up...just kept snoozing away while they were getting ready to head out.

I am nursing a bad tooth or something this morning...started after a piece of food (TMI! SORRY) got stuck between 2 of my back teeth Sat night and I couldn't get it out. Finally around 10 yesterday, I got it to come loose after battling it many times with both floss and toothpicks. Don't know if I have hurt the gum, messed up a filling, or it just plain sore but that joker HURTS! It isn't like a throbbing tooth ache but it was enough yesterday to knock me on my butt all afternoon and we took DS out to eat for his b-day last night (he finally managed to work us in his busy schedule..LOL) and I was miserable!!!! I guess I am going to call the dentist this morning and see if they can at least just look at it and let me know if it is bad or not???? Just what the heck I needed on top of EVERYTHING else going on right now.

DH put his truck in the shop last night--it should be ready by Wed--that is about $2500. YIKES!!! Waiting this morning on call from doc to see when DD can be seen by another ortho. Lovely, lovely way to start the week.

Lizzy...don't worry about not being married yet..sometimes I wish I wasn't..LOL!!!!! I am so jealous that you are almost on vacation!!!
Jen...glad things are going good at the new job!! And I read about the grill episode..YIKES! Good save though!!!

Terry- More than likely it's sore because it forced the tooth into a "new place" you might feel it. More than likely it will feel a bit loose. but it will get better in a few days. Gargle with warm salt water and use some orajel or ambisol to help out.

I'm sitting here looking 50 with rollers in my hair haha! Haven't rolled it since i was 14! Still have the same rollers. Just waiting for them to cool. I have very straight hair and was bored with it. Anyways fixing to head to work you girls have a great day!

Anna~ Did you get your bbq? DH wants one desperately right now but can't decide on which one to get. We already have a gas hook up but those are more expensive which will pay off in the long run but who wants to spend 800.00 on a bbq? Not cheapo me that's for sure!

Hey girls, know I haven't posted in a while and this isn't BCB, but I did feel pretty guilty coming on here knowing I was doing nothing whatsoever to help my weightloss goals get in the right direction. But, I am over that, so here I am! LOL I am retaining water like crazy... enough to make me make a dr appt which I absolutey HATE because they always think they need to weigh you! LOL Anyway, I hope it's nothing, but I could just see me having some type of heart condition and not going to the dr and ending up worse off. I have a dear friend who is having a lump removed on Thursday from her breast. Funny thing is that she went in for consultation for augmentation and they found the lump. The surgeon says he really believes (and he quoted 95% sure) that it's not cancerous. She's scared though so I dealt with that yesterday.
On the good news front... I only have 3 more Mondays including today left of school! WOOHOO!! LOL Teachers rejoice! Allison, these are the times we live for! LOL

Lizzy: Don't fret not being married... you haven't found "the one" yet or you would be... and it's not all that anyway! LMAO
Jen: hope your machine works! Man, I don't envy all your running around!
Terry: hope the ortho can give you more insight to K. Didn't know J messed up his truck! UGH, not another expense you needed right now! congrats on getting enough tix!

Hello girls....Happy Monday!

This has been a crazy busy day. Stayed the same this morning when I weighed myself, but I'll take it. Took DD to get groceries, came home, put in some laundry, fed us lunch, and as soon as I put her down for her nap a big frigging city truck came along the road behind our house and began trimming tree branches from near the power lines by our backyard! So DD never napped. So decided to take her out to run to the bank, and just as I was leaving, our elderly neighbour came by to ask for help trimming some tree shoots poking into his yard through our hedge. I just now put DD back in bed and sat down! There is a mound of unfolded laundry overtaking the couch and staring at the back of my head right now....argh!!

Oh, and on top of my crazy busy day, for some reason I decided to sign up for our church's softball team!!! I read in the bulletin yesterday that they still needed players and DH said I should go for it AND he'd watch DD (I didn't even ask!!) and a friend is playing on another church's team....so I guess I'm playing softball! You guys, I haven't played softball since high school gym class when they stuck me out in the outfield because I was useless! Now I WANT to be stuck out in the outfield!!! LOL I'm soooo nervous. But I don't know that many people at our church so hopefully this will help with that. So I guess tonight we're going out to find a right-hand softball glove (I'm left-handed). I hope that won't be too hard!

So, I'm pooped and it's only 4 o'clock and I'd better go fold laundry while I call home and then make supper, clean up, go buy a glove, come home and bath DD and put her to bed and finish my chores! Yikes! Slightly overwhelmed today! I'm feeling a sudden, renewed commitment to early bedtimes for me!! LOL

Barb ~ Sorry to hear about your allergies! Can you get a shot for that? DH usually gets them.

Xan ~ I hope you got a dr's appointment! Woo hoo - summer holidays are on the horizon!
