going out in a bit to my wonderful laundromat . Hoping that the check engine light will be off. Still have a couple of errands to do. If ex wants to get together, he needs to come down here.

Sue- i'm trying to keep positive thoughts. if there is a car repair involved it needs to be same day. cant afford another car rental @ this time.
Oh my about DS, honestly that would have been something I would have done too w/ those things. I was such a geek.

no problems @ the laundromat, whoo hoo 2 wks in a row!! warning light is still on so will email dealer about coming in nxt Sat to check it out. Have a bit of a long road trip planned that night, so hope the problem is minor and can be in and out.

Good Morning.

Sooooooooooooooo much to do today and then of course tomorrow is work. I am excited but nervous.
One of the neighbor boys slept over here, so him and Garrett are upstairs already playing guitar hero. I had a little argument with one of the neighbors....the one that always bitches, the one that has the DD with supposed ADHD but doesn't do anything for her. I am just tired of her speaking over everyone, monopolizing conversations, voicing her opnion on things a little too much, etc. So I have not been hanging out as much, well yesterday we were all hanging out, she was there and her normal self. Finally I had enough and I let her have it. She started about a topic that we were all talking about (sex) giving her opnion and blah blah blah, and I said what I needed to say nice and loud. She didn't care for that too much and asked what my problem was and I told her off, then went about continuing the conversation I was having with one of the other girls. She up and left. Oh well. Nobody ever just tells her to shut up and does it behind her back. I am done with it.

So today we are going to my mom's since my Aunt and Uncle are in from Colorado. Of course it is raining so we will be essentially trapped in the house. I am making Heavenly Heath Bar cake to bring over there.

Lizzy......glad that the laundry went well. I hope it is something really simple with your engine light. I know mine came on one time because I didn't shut the gascap good enough.

Morning girlies! Okay so the party wasn't quite what I expected last night--well actually NOT at all what I expected...was in our neighborhood so assumed it was going to be a lot of "our" friends and neighbors--NOT! 2 of our neighbors were there.PERIOD. It was a LOT of out of town people and co-workers of the happy couple--WEIRD MIX...felt way out of place within hour after getting there and DH left 5 minutes after he got there to tend to a "farm emergency" so after a couple of hours, I begged off and left. Oh well!!! Did see that DD is not at all upset over her break-up--she was REALLY enjoying herself last night and ended up staying later with DS.

DS has a Cancun meeting today @ 3 which completely screws up my afternoon so guess I will make the most of it and hit the store before we leave town. I was INFORMED that parents are not allowed to miss this one.

Hit the fruit stand late yesterday and got some veggies and fruit...had a bowl of strawberries for breakfast. She had an apple/pear cross...bought 2 of them to try--anybody ever heard of it???

Okay better scoot for now and get this kids in gear. They need to go to work this morning since we have to go into town later.

Leaving out June 11 I believe, Jen...I would not mind the meetings but there is not one person really in charge and it just gets to be a bunch of bickering and stupid crap and drags on for basically nothing.

Morning kids. Got to sleep in this morning until 9, which is good because I was up at 3am for some reason. Lizzy had already started the daily, lol. Since I was up I decided to go searching for a better plane fare to change my tix back east in June than I've been seeing. Ended up getting into Philly for 140, which is better than I've seen at this point, so I booked them. Part of why I love southwest is that they don't charge for changes, so I can just cancel my old flight and keep it as a credit toward christmas. So now ds and I are taking off on May 31, because I refuse to fly on my birthday which is the next day. Dh will meet us on 6/5 and the rest of the fam is tricking in around the same time. Dh's cousins wedding is that weekend, and then his sis is driving his mom and stepdad to Florida with all their stuff. They're officially out of New Jersey off to sunny FL.

Gotta get soup made today, and some fruit salad for the week. I have MOUNTAINS of laundry to be folded and some sprinkler system repair out front to do. Perhaps the grocery store, and a quick tidy and vacuum.

good morning ladies! This will be short for me as i am trying to get the house in order. WELL I had my drs appt on friday and OMG!!!! I am having surgery tomorrow! I have two masses in my left breast and they want them to come out immediatly! I just got home yesterday and got the house cleaned and now im workin on my bedroom. I want to wash the sheets so i can come home to a nice bed! I am kinda nervous, i thought i was all done with surgery. I am praying that this is just scar tissue but they do not want to take any chances. This is supposed to be an out patient surgery as long as all goes well. Since the Mayo hospital is 3 hours away from my house we will spend the night in town and travel home the next day. So i will be missing on here for a couple of days! Please if you have extra prayers send them my way!

Hello again everyone,
just took a walk to and from a chinese restaurant. Was all set t have some cheap lunch combo. Of course when I got there, they dont have the combos on Sunday. @ least I had extra $$ on me. did get a good walk in. going to relax in a bit outside, got some suntan lotion.

Terry- ugh about the party, I probably would have left after an hr. interesting combo for the apple/pear, what does it look and taste like
I did to the fl to boston drive one time when dad died and i had to bring mom and the car home. wouldnt mind doing it again and stopping @ places along the way, but definitely not w/ these gas prices
Sue- sounds good w/ the plane fare, just w/ all the gas prices going up they pass it along to us. one way for boston for mom was 89 . I heard some airlines now are charging more for certain aisle and window seats, yeesh

So I have obviously been MIA, just been busy! Yesterday I went with my 2 WW leaders to a WW conference and training seminar! Pretty much all common sense there! We'll see how I do! I just wish we could come up with a way to get more people to continually show up to the meetings. We used to have like 30 or 40 and as of last meeting we had 2 reg. members, me and the 2 leaders! UGh!!!! I have been staying on track and exercising and doing weights I am so hoping to see some serious results this week, last week I was up 2 lbs, due to TOM! I REALLY HATE HIM.
