not much from me, slept real well,in fact the alarm had to wake me up. That rarely happens. Got my walk in. Water was a bit behind. Need to get my rear in gear w/ that. WI was 1/2 lb, so still under 140.

Barb- I would be having major w/drawals too w/ no phone or internet. glad you're back up and running

Good Morning.
I once again did not have a great night sleep. Mainly because I had the window open and between neighbors that work night shift starting up their trucks, then the town doing street sweeping at 1:30. They haven't done that in 2 years! The sweeper was broken all last year....so now it's back to every other Thursday is Avenue's.....so you have to either park up on the sidewalk or on the street(not the avenue). I hate that! I usually forget too and then have to run out at bedtime. hehehe

I have not had a good past couple of days in the food dept. I don't know what my problem is.....well actually I do. I think I am starting to substitute food for smoking. I know, use gum, use mints, blah blah blah easy to say it, but it is not working. I know keep my hands busy blah blah blah, tried that but it is not working. Hopefully next week when i start to work something will give.

We had both practices last night.....this is going to get very interesting when I start to work again. Kevin pissed me off again by mentioning how other mom's seem to do it around here.......what he is neglecting to realize is they do it alright....with their husbands help or a grandparents help...I have neither of them here in my town.

So on tap for today is clothes shopping. Should be interesting. If I was at goal it would be fun, I think.

Morning....man I had an awesome night's sleep (right there with you Lizzy)...I zonked out around 9:00 and kept hitting the snooze right up until 7:30. I think the Lasik has me pooped out--remember before it did that to me until I got used to it. I have been on it a week now and still holding at the 3 lbs I lost the 1st couple of days on it. I have been getting little nagging headaches during the day as well and I think that is a side effect too.

Watched Survivor last night and OMG they sent Ozzy packing--WTH?? He is by far the best player on the show--dumb behinds!!! Now lets see who starves too death until the next tribal meeting.

Lizzy...gas prices went up here yesterday to $3.39 for regular. It was a 10 cent jump in 1 day...best advice I can give you there is try to stop in towns off interstate intead of stations directly on the interstate. I know around here you can see a 20 cent difference in just 1 mile into town. Once it gets closer, give me a holler on email and I can give you some ideas from towns through GA/SC/NC on prices. I can get them from a local news station.

Okay gotta run...need to be hitting that happy trail to town..UGGGGG!!!!

Uggg. Morning....checking in from Drama Central...I pretty much lost it on Alex this morning...I'm sorry, but being 13 is no damn excuse for treating people like SHIT....So I take Mike aside and say "I really need some help here" and his response "You need help with everything"...........OOOMMMMGGGGGG....he did come in and apologize after taking the kids to school, so I do give him credit for that.

Anyway....food took a tiny nose dive the last 2 days, trying to climb back up that wagon today.

Jen....Ooooooh, them's fightin' words....I remember my Dad saying something like that to me a couple years ago, and then he started comparing me to other mothers on PIB who work full time jobs and take care of their kids....Every single mother he sited was married to a major business owner...all loaded rich, and had nanny's (from friggin Europe!!!)

Terry...How do all you guys who live in the real world do it with the gas prices? I'm totally curious since we are moving in Aug., I don't drive my "big" vehicle more than once a week or once every other week on the mainland, in fact it sits over there till we use it. So, I have no experience with this..

Morning flying by today! Holly has field day at school so I'm helping out! I want Chy to go with me but she doesn't like kids she says! Nikki I hear you on the attitude! Sheesh! I just don't want her home alone all day. they have a day off of school. Don't want the boy over here! LOL! Also have go to ATT to see why I can't get a feature on my phone I signed up for. I''m going to have the internet on it! Wow I'm so high tech! NOT! LOL! Actually they gave me a discount for being a PTA president, she said no one would verify! LOL! I told her it wasn't a paid position but she said it didn't matter. I'm going to pay less than what I'm paying now with unlimited text messaging and the net! Whoooyyy!!

Hey girls, wish I could be in the "slept well" dept. LOL We have had a rough couple of days at school. There were some layoffs that we knew were going to happen because our enrollment is at an all time low. What we didn't expect and what was so demoralizing was a bunch of cross curricular moves for effing reason whatsoever! They moved a lady who has taught kindergarten for 26 years in the same freaking classroom to 4th grade reading! She started her career here and planned to end it here next year when she turned 50... what effing loyalty! That wasn't the only move... believe it or not some were stupider. I am staying where I am TG!!! Sorry to admit that Wednesday I did turn to food and TOM didn't help matters at all. HOWEVER, today I have my breakfast and snack packed and lunch planned. I got my new issue of WW magazine last night and I brought it with me to work to help stay away from the vending machines during my off period.
Hope the weekend ends up better!!!

Jen and Nikki: OMG on husbands with foot in mouth disease! If they only realized for one second what you two do they would never utter those words again! Jen have fun shopping.

Barb: I totally agree on not leaving her at home alone for fear of bf! YIKES!!! She has certainly grown up since the BCB days hasn't she!

Terry: congrats on your new washing machine! I know I'm late with that but.... LOL

Lizzy: We live in the oilfield that is producing the freaking gas and we are paying $3.49 a gallon! It's just outrageous!! Glad you got some sleep!

Hey chick-a-dees! Yesterday went great in the potty training department!!! No accidents and I didn't have to change a single diaper - first time in seven and a half years. Knock on wood... so far, so good today as well. Maybe he has got it now. Of course I have to stay on top of it and remind him every couple of hours, but much better than paying for ( and changing) diapers. DD and DS also seem to be feeling better today even though Mateo's nose is still running like crazy.

The best news of the day is I get to go get my hair cut this afternoon. I have put it off way too long, but I wanted to get it cut a little before my reunion. Finally got my bangs completely grown out for the first time in thrity something years, but think I may go back to them after all that. Going to chat with the lady that does my hair and see what she thinks.

Jason got an email yesterady that his work is starting a year long program that even family members can participate in. You enroll for a year and can then watch webcasts and take advantage of all the resources. It is $15 a month for fam, but you have to sign on for the whoel year. Have any of you ever heard of the PATH Healthy Eating Cuuriculm which is the corporate program or the Live Mediteranean plan? They are based in the work of Will Clower who wrote the book The French Don't Diet. We are thinking about enrolling and was just wondering if anyone had any reviews.

I'm with Xan on the not good night of sleep. I'm on call though (for 7 more nights) so I never sleep good when I'm on call. Keep worrying I won't wake up Ugh...

jen - congrats on the new job! I thought you were taking the summer off?
Anna - hi there girl...how are your meetings going? I missed the last 2 weeks because of being in Tampa with dad, but I'm going on Sunday. Won't be pretty I suspect although home scale says no loss no gain.
Barb - unlimited text...you are so geeky now LOL

Well, dang it...phones are busy so I need to run.

Terry - we have a barn guy coming to give us a quote tomorrow and we bought the fence we're going to use in the back two fields. We're going to do it ourselves...ugh! But it will save about $8000, so it will be worth it.
