Thought I would wake you lovely ladies up this morning...back to the 4 am routine . Guess what...got a new washing machine yesterday!!! WOO HOO for me!! I can't believe how absolutely naked I felt without one..DH thinks I am crazy but I just could not go on another freaking day without it. We got a Maytag on a $75 off sale that has like 10 cycles, 4 water temps, 4 water levels the extra rinse cycle and a handwash cycle. I was very excited!!!! As a matter of fact, I have a load in now. It wasn't the brand I wanted but could not find any Amana's where we were at and DH is the type that it is a one stop - shopper so I knew I better figure out what I wanted at the 2nd place we stopped at as I could see the frustration level growing Saved a huge $79 by bringing it back with us too--delivery fees are outrageous now. Also went by an appliance parts store and got the parts to begin fixing my stove/oven--got all 4 eyes working again and guess what NO BEEPING last night ...knock on wood--still have to get the oven back working but have a computer pad coming today from my dad that may just work on it. I absolutely love those "honey do" afternoons .

Okay..bbl..gotta get DH's breakfast and lunch packed up..bout time for him to head out.

starting to feel allergies coming on. Oh well @ least I had a week or so of feeling fine w/ all the sickness I've had. Finally reserved a car for the FL trip, oy about the cost, but did save a lot of money about finally using my airline points. I agreed about who went home last night on Idol.
I wouldnt mind anyone left for winning. Still haven't voted yet to make a final choice. Gotta love lil David sitting in the middle of the stage

Terry- whoo hoo about the washer, sounds like a nice one. @ least the beeping has stopped on the stove.
Janna- great job w/ the walk. looks like my walks are like 1.5 in a 1/2 hr or so.

Good Morning Ladies.

I got sooooo sick last night with my stomach! I have no idea why.....ate subway and some pringles....about an hour later it started. Needless to say I was up half the night too. Not fun.

Today I am staying home and cleaning a bit, doing some laundry and I need to mow the lawn. It is going to be high 70's today.....so I might try and get a skate in later too on the trail. We will see.

Terry........Hooray about the washer and the parts. Delivery is waaay too expensive, I know. One reason I am glad that I have the truck.

Lizzy.......Yuck about the car rental. I haven't had to rent one in a while.

OK......I need to get dressed so I can walk the kids up the street.....more Garrett than Jess.

So, I'm heading into school this morning...yesterday a fellow school board member who spends alot of time at school during lunch hour informed me that at least on 4 occasions that she has seen, some of the kids threatening and harrassing Regan with peanut butter....trying to give her food with pb on it and so on...Regan confirmed 4 kids for sure and said it happens all the time...I know the parents very well, of course, but I'm gonna let the school handle it and see what happens.

Anyway..finished the BIG house yesterday..started on the rental, was hoping to get it done last night, but I was just too wiped out.

Ok, I'll be back, gotto go get some makeup on....scary...

Nikki...are the kids crazy or what???? That is insane!!!! You need to nip this one in the bud immediately!!!!!

Lizzy...uggg on car rental...I checked on one in NY for my boss a while back and it was cheaper actually for him to take a taxi than rent a car--CRAZY!

Jen...bummer on being sick--do you think it is a relapse from the other day or maybe the meds you are taking???

Okay I have like my 5th load of laundry going for the morning--I am loving it!!! And yes, Lizzy, it was soooo nice not to hear that freaking beeper go off during the night! We aren't sure why it isn't going off at this point--thought it was tied in with the oven/computer pad but maybe it was something in the wiring in the top--no clue...I was feeling pretty primitive here lately cooking on my 1 eye that worked all the time and 1 that semi-worked and that was it. Thank god for microwaves!

Okay--woke up this morning and decided I have got to get my butt back in line--water, exercise, diet! I have been a total slacker for almost 2 weeks--today is a new day!

Nikki......I take it that Regan is allergic to PB? I agree.....let the school handle it. Hope your weather is as nice as mine today!!!!!!

Morning! Never made it back yesterday. This week has been crazy. Becca was complaining about her stomach all day, but thankfully never got sick. Mateo woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and now has a terrible cold. Jason had to be up and out of the house early to catch a plane. He is only gone today for meetings out of town. We are suposed to get Becca's new curriculum delivered today, so I will have to unpack all of that and figure out what we are doing school wise. Thankfully it is beautiful outside so we can get out and enjoy some nice weather before guitar practice later today.

Jen~ Glad you found a job near you - and one that pays well!! LOL @ the sidewalk chalk and thinking that it will be there for several days since it is not supposed to rain for awhile. Hope your tummy feels better.

Terry~ New washing machine!! How fun! The one at the beach house was a newer model and it made me want a bigger, newer one. But, I will just be glad I have one that works for now.

Lizzy~ Good luck with the allergies. It is amazing how much rental cars are these days! Gad you were able to get one and things are coming together for your trip.

Nik~ That is absolutely ridiculous about the kids with the PB! I would be livid. The school should be taking action immdiately. Let us know what happens.

Oh Barb I am jealous of your new phone! I think I am elligible in October for a new one.
OK....so far I have cleaned the litter boxes, did 2 loads of wash, and have throw out a bunch of crap that was in the basement. I also took all of Kevin's clothes out of the closet. He goes in there for clothes 2x a year....it's all getting hung up in the closet downstairs....I need the room.

OK....gotta go through more stuff in the basement...then vaccuum down there and mop that floor. Plus gotta clean that bathroom down there. UGH. Somehow, I don't forsee me getting a skate in today.
