Morning girls...or should I say "good middle of the night"....UGH...it's 3:30 and my bed has been inundated (sp)???) with child and cats..no room left for mom. Was heading for the couch, but now I'm wide awake and STARVING...

Had my first "official" day adding the MUFA's to my diet...it went well, I counted calories and stayed at 1500, so I'm pretty happy..I'm even happier because 1/4 cup of chocolate chips is a MUFA!!!!!!!!!!!! and so is peanut butter..what can be better in life?

I have some things I need to do today, but I let Alex go to a friends for the night and I'm not rushing her to get back. Her and I had a long talk yesterday( actually I did all the talking, come to think of it, she said nothing, lol) about this summer and her babysitting for me till noon so I can work at the coffee shop...i feel really bad, of course we will compensate her, but still. How do you get the point across to a self centered 13 year old that the economy is getting so bad that I HAVE to work now....and she HAS to help out...I know, she will never understand until she is an adult.

Ok, well, maybe I'm getting sleepy now, see you all in a few hours!

Nik was up early too, after a while decided to watch tv. Of course the cat picks that time to sit on me . Decided to get up and try on clothes for FL. Got 2 outfits to choose from for the rehearsal dinner, wedding already taken care of,the shorts and bathing suit are good. Unfortunately most of my capris are a size too small. Will prob bite the bullet and go to macy's to use that 1/2 off coupon but will have to pay $25 out of pocket to do so.

Terry- glad the corsage ordeal came out ok in the end. cant wait for the pix.

UGGGGGG....morning! I am exhausted!!!! DS did not call until almost 2:30 am ..longer than he should have taken but said they ended up stopping and getting out, etc because they all got so sleepy and tired on the final 30 min stretch (in the middle of no-where!!!!). At least there was 2 vehicles together so I guess it was safer than driving while sleepy. I dosed off while watching the clock and when I woke up and realize he was past time to call, I FREAKED !! No signal for the 1st 15 min I tried calling him..finally he answered and they were just coming onto the beach and still had to find the house they were staying at. THANK GOD!!! DH had decided to work on his truck before hauling the trailer today and he did not come in until after 3 (tackled something more than he needed too ) and after he was finished second guessed himself--he is back out there this morning double checking some stuff.

My allergies are in full swing--probably the place where the kids took pics beforehand--they had freshly cut grass and pine straw everywhere!!! Should be a lovely day with dust and dirt at horse show on top of it.

Lasik finally kicked in around 4 am--I weighed this morning and was down 3 lbs from yesterday morning--now I just need to drop another 5...I am telling you girls, I was a walking bubble!!!!

Okay..off to grab and shower and get dressed..need to leave here in about 30 min.

Nikki--I am still not believing chocolate is a necessity for the diet..AWESOME!!!

I am feeling like yuck still. I am wondering if it isn't allergies now.

We had quite the evening here. First, nobody bothered to let me know that it was report card day!!!! Theirs were great anyway. Garrett's friend slept over. They are worse than girls. Jess was at a friends house wand was going to sleepover there....while they were playing hide & seek one of the girls tried to hide under a TV stand and the TV fell off and right on top of Jess' foot. I had her come home and take ibuprofen, wrapped it, iced it and elevated it. I haven't checked on her just yet this morning. I hope I don't have to take her to the ER. UGH!!!! If it is broken, I do not want to be the one to call her softball coach about it! LOL

Nikki......hope you got to take a nap. If I get this job, I am going to be paying one of my friends to watch the kids after school, that way she can drive them wherever they need to go for games. Almost all of Garrett's games are at 5:30. UGH

Lizzy/......I hope you find a cute pair of capri's!

Terry.....Oh that is good that the water is going bye bye. I think I have allergies too. The pollen count is very high right now I just saw, so this would make some sense.

I am not sure about Jess' foot. Not a clue. Once Garrett's friend leaves though, I am probably running up to the ER. She isn't in alot of pain, but can't put alot of pressure on it. UGH.

I swear I still feel like absolute crap! I think today will just be a lounge out around the house day....well after we get back from the ER. I can run to Walmart for things I need tomorrow. Plus I want to take a drive by that place that I am going for the imterview so I know exactly where it is. I already did Mapquest.

got a lot done already and it's only 10:30. Still have stuff to do. Hoping that macy's will have something I like. Plus I want to get my shuttle bus tix in advance. Day of flight, want to take a taxi to the shuttle place so I dont have to pay for parking. then take the bus to the airport.
hoping I can get a taxi ok since it's a work day, but it's early so we'll see, plan b is to drive/park @ the shuttle place.

Hello ladies, wow I have missed alot! Hope everyone's weekend goes well.
I finally got my taxed done yesterday, DH was a bit made because I put it off so long, but I just wasn't in the mood. We are getting a nice refund! Woo Hoo! Maybe I can fill up with gas with it, hahahahaha! I'm thinking painting the whole inside of the house, new furniture, a new comforter and some new clothes, man I have already got it spent.

Jen: hope Jess' foot is ok and everything with your bloodwork is ok. Feel better.

mother nature is playing tricks here. Was supposed to rain all day, but instead rained early then sun on and off all day. Of course when I wanted to go outside the sun went back in. Did get a short walk in w/ my knee brace.
Only bought one pair of capris @ macys' but also bought a wallet as well. Wanted a pink pair of capris, fit ok but was too "see thru". The pair I got is black w/ white polka dots.
Got most of my errands done,still need to order that rental car for vacation. That's the last biggie I think.

Just a quick post to let you guys know Jess' foot is not broken. Badly bruised yes. She was all upset because she wanted crutches. UGH.
I, on the other hand, am so sick I feel like I am going to die. When I was at the ER I was thiiiis close to having them see me too, but I am not about to clog the ER for my being sick. I did call my Dad though to come up there to help with Garrett since he was restless and once he saw how sick I was he insisted that we go to their house and they would watch the kids so I could get some rest......I slept 5 hours, got up ate, came home and here I am. I am about to go upstairs back to bed I am so sick. The last time I remember being this sick was when I had pneumonia.
I have to be better in time for that interview!!!

OK...off to bed.
