Jen, just read your update...my good chol. is around 23...very, very scary!!! I should probably be on meds, but when my results came back there was nothing on the market to help... my cardiologist said. It was a little higher the last time I had it checked, but not much...wine is a great remedy (red wine) also red grapes, there is something in the skins that is very beneficial...exercise raises it, and so does the whole including more MUFA's (the monounsaturated fatty acids) in your diet, and of course weight loss...you should be good to go in a few months, I bet it will go up...mine seems to be hereditary, need to have it tested again, but gonna wait till I can take off about 20 pounds and be regular with my exercise again.
