M O R N I N G...............OMG, if this meeting/supper gets here any quicker I am going to croak ..DH's list keeps growing and growing as to what has to be done by 6:30 tonight. DS was laughing last night and said "what a way to get the spring cleaning done with Dad's help ". They tackled the carport/garage last night @ 9 pm..go figure??? Anyway it looks awesome--it needed a thorough cleaning done and they had picked up some stuff to remove like oil/grease stains off the concrete. DD & I have been doing the kitchen, den, and kids' bathroom. It is almost there but I still need to dust everything again, vaccuum one last time and run the mop over everything..then this morning DH comes up with the bright idea that the light fixtures need to be taken down and dusted and cleaned..OH JOY!!!!! So now I have the glass globes soaking from the light over the table.

Oh..do let me tell you...we went to Wally World last night to get a grill (we had a tiny charcoal is all) and it was DH's b-day so he had a little b-day $$ to blow so we were looking at a semi-nice gas grill and I was sooooo excited because we have NEVER owned a gas grill and I am just sitting back thinking how awesome it would be to cook on and so on and so on..and they tag says "free assembly ask associate"..so DH goes up to register and starts to inquire as to how long, etc it would take to get the one he wanted put together and the guy told him to give him just a second...well the second ended up being 20 min so we starting hanging out in the patio section sitting in the furniture and cutting up..well finally this boy (could not have been over 17) comes up to us and says "uuuhh mister, you wanna a grill put together like tonight" and the way he said was so DUH?????.. and DH looks at me and I look at him and he says "no, son I don't but thank you anyway"..we get up and proceed to leave and the guy from the register stops DH and says "hey man, you didn't want that grill I rang up" and DH told him that had he sent somebody back there that knew what they were doing yeah but since he had stood up at the register and flirted with the co-worker and sent a wet behind the ears kid to us, Hell NO! So we had to end up borrowing MIL's grill for tonight and then she tells DH just to keep it because she doesn't use it hardly ever...sha ching!

Oh and just wanted to let you know the "freebie" washer we got when ours kicked the bucket decided to die yesterday too ..DD was washing a load of towels and she said she smelt something like a belt burning and then it made a noise and that was it. It still brings the water in and out but will not turn at all so thinking maybe just a belt burned up or a relay switch--I am going to get the repair guy out here hopefully tommorrow night because it is soooo worth fixing if within $100 tolerance..it washes clothes better than my other one did brand new.

Well that is enough of a book for you girls to read this morning..off to clean some more!!!

Well, Terry...I'm glad I'm not the only idiot up this early!!!!! Although after reading your post......heehee just kidding! Cool about the grill...I love family freebies...My MIL is always giving us stuff.

I'm on day 3 of that flat belly jumpstart...today may be kinda hard only cuz I'm up so damn early...no coffeeeeeeee, and I don't want to eat till 8 or so....but, damn, I got to say, my belly was nice and shrunk this morning....If anything, I'm hoping for motivation to stick to something. Been walking everyday too...

Ok, well I dont want to type too much, I got acrylics put on and the typing is sooooooo loud, I'm not ready for kids to wake up yet...be back later!

Hey...anybody know if tossing curtains in the dryer will help freshen them back up and get the dust/cob webs off them???? Since the washer is broke, I have no way to wash my kitchen curtains before tonight!!!! They look pretty dusty I have noticed .

I forgot, what did everyone thing of idol. Didn't like David Cooks song @ all. This was the first time I didnt like his performance.
Liked Jason's song but felt didn't need the ukelele. I thought sure I was going to hear a Tiny Tim reference from someone. Not sure who will go home on Thurs. Cant wait for idol gives back tonight.

OK.....before I forget....do your vote for who goes on in Biggest Loser!!!!! I just voted for Mark. I want Ali to win, and honestly I am looking at this like the game that it is...Roger is a threat since he still has alot more weight he can throw off, where Mark does not.

I am soooo tired this morning. I had a rough night with Jess and I think that helped in my not being able to fall asleep. She had such a fit over nothing and I told her to go in the house. I go in a few mins later(after putting stuff in the garage) and no Jess in the house! I look outside and there she is across the street!!!!! :X Oh she was in her room for the rest of the night....but again had a fit and wanted to call her Dad. So I said sure go ahead, but you stay right here and do it....I knew she would twist a tale. Sure enough she did not tell him the whole story, so I got on the phone with him and told him the details she left out and he was STILL saying "well do you think sending her to her room with no TV is really the punishment to go with?" Excuse me!?!??! It is my house, she was disrespectful to not only me, but my neighbors(they were trying to help her with her bike) and told to go in the house because of her mouth and she defiantly goes across the street? I think the punishment is just fine and this is my home I make the rules. Asshole.

Oh my one neighbor that I always talk about that cooks for the whole neighborhood, that we were just there the other night, had to have emergency gall bladder removal yesterday! Hope he is alright.....his wife was good yesterday. I think between me and the one other neighbor, we can help during the day if he needs anything.

Terry......What a calamity with going to buy that grill! LOL But you got a freebie out of it, so that is great. As for the curtains, what about hanging them out? Wash them out in the sink and then hang them out. I am getting Kevin a new grill as a combo Fathers Day/Birthday present. We need a good one....I swear once summer hits we use it almost everyday.

Lizzy...;...Happy pet sitter hunting! What about PetSmart? They have those pet hotels there.

Jen- ugh about dd, punishment was right IMO. We dont have one of those pet hotels near me. My vet does boarding, but cost is a big consideration.
The pet sitter charges 17 per visit. going to see if she can do every other day.
Hope neighbor has a quick recovery.

Jen...funny but I had to send DD to her run this morning and put her on restriction...so I think you were on the money!!!! Mine was given a list of things to do yesterday while she was home sick and they were done 1/2 ass! I asked her to clean their bathroom and I moved something on the counter this morning and she had cleaned AROUND everything. Had NOT moved one thing off the counter to wipe it..UGGGG!!! And then while we were in town last night she was over at our friends with the b/f and DS picked her up and she KNEW that they were suppose to start cleaning up some stuff out of the garage and she told DS that "it was best to wait and see exactly what daddy meant to move out"..he being clueless since he wasn't here for the conversation waited...OH BOY!!! Fireworks did fly!!!!

Lizzy..I paid $60 for the week when our neighbor kept our animals last summer so $17 really isn't that bad I don't think. Oh DS has a "hot" item on ebay..a book he had bought for like $15 5 years ago and it is already over $20 and has over 24 hours left on it..he is sooo excited!

Okay..off to start pattying out hamburgers...I had the meat on the counter since I got up so it was be easier to make the burgers. I think I am done with the cleaning for now..start back up when I get off @ 1. Thinking about cutting by store and grabbing some extra dish towels now that washer is out...2 out of my 4 are now dirty. Also may pick up a new canister set--the one I have is 22 years old and not really with the room anymore..may try to find something with chickens on it...oh and some candles..gotta get candles!

Jen...I definetly think you handled things just fine with Jess...i wish I could understand what makes our kids act the way they do, with Regan there is just no reasoning...drives me crazy..I just got done diffusing her cuz she couldn't find her toothbrush...ahem, same place it always is..."but I looked" (whiny, hair pulling (she pulls her hair when shes frustrated) ) UUUUGGGHHHH....So, I can't stand it...it's either kill my kids or have a cup of coffee that might add to my tummy bloat...I opted for the coffee...just one cup...Oh god, it tastes like heaven, lol...

Lizzy...David Cooks performance sucked, and I love that song...have it on my myspace, but he didn't do it justice and as much as I like him, he really does seem cocky and arrogant..Loved David, Jason and Brooke....Sayesha and Kristi Lee Cook need to go home...didn't lilke Carly's song, but I love her, so it's ok, lol....
