Hello everyone,
manage to sleep in a little for me, but not much more. Knee seems ok, but will do strider. Really sweating bullets w/the yard work, goes to show when you do different things for exercise, can really show up.Hoping to get some more running around for mom today. haven't heard from ex all week which is unusual to see if we're getting together today.
Creating an excel worksheet for mom's rentals, just trying to input from the past several yrs. She kept on changing her catagories and how she recorded stuff, so not exactly easy to follow. Just about a month to go for the wedding. Sis asked if I could send some $$ to the happy couple now. Guess they were outbid for a condo & had to move into a regular apt. So figured I give 1/2 now and my nephew's b'day present now. and the rest for the wedding.

Terry- flying down to FL. using my freq flyer pts finally. weird thing is that had tried to use round trip. but on the way back, they were putting me in first class(not a bad thing,but since I'm w/ mom couldnt do it) so had to book 2-1 way tix, the other tix I paid around 89.
I felt sorry for DD bf about the clothes, hope he wasnt self concious. hope things went well. She looked beautiful!!

Good Morning.
Oh I did not want to get up! It felt so good to just lay there, but Sasha had to go out.
My poor honey is not enjoying his time in Puerto Rico. The job is not getting accomplished as he would have hoped, so it is causing major frustration that he knows he will not finish before he has to leave. Which is another thing he is mad about.....he flies out at 3 on Monday and won't get to Omaha until about 10 or so and then has a 1 1/2 hour drive after that. UGH.

So on tap for me today......going to get some exercise in soon, I have to pick up Garrett at about 11:30, then going to my MIL for lunch. After that not sure what I am doing. Probably playing catch with Garrett and put either the hitaway up or use the zip & hit.

Lizzy........Thats nice of you to give part of your present now. Hey if it will help them, then why not. I hope your weather is as nice as mine right now! I will be outside enjoying it later.

Morning chicks! Well things went absolutely perfect for DD last night...could not have asked for her to have a better time..b/f that doesn't dance--well he danced the night away--she was laughing after she got home about he had finally come out of his turtle shell and she said it was awesome!!! They were talking about leaving early at one point (at the drop-in before I left to come home) and wanted me to be ready to come back and get them anytime after 8...well guess what..DS was waiting on them in the parking lot at 10:15 to finally come out. DS and some of his friends ended up picking them up which tickled DD to death that she was picked up by a group of SENIORS and of course they were making all over them in front of all her friends (Thank you DS!!!!)...oh and she was also crowned PROM QUEEN (voted on by her class Fri @ school and every girl in the 8th grade was on the ballot)!!!! That was a shock and a half!!! She called me afterwards screaming and crying in the phone!!!!

Lizzy...reason pictures were up so quick last night was my parents and my bro & SIL...they were dying to see her ASAP and they live 30 min away so I actually had before pictures up before we left to go to the drop-in for their sake. Gotta take care of those grandparents!!! Oh and b/f fit in just fine with her "crew"!!!

Jen..have fun today with Mr. Garrett!!!

Off to grab and shower and hopefully get out in the yard (I really need to work inside today) it is going to be beautiful!!!!

Jen- weather is supposed to be in the 40's and cloudy not exactly the best weather to be outside unfortunately, enjoy the day

Terry- I'm so glad it was a great experience for DD. Not surprised she was made prom queen!!!

alrighty got the strider in already. need to get cleaned up an ready to do some errands when the stores finally open

Lizzy......unbelievably so, we are going to be around 60 today!

Terry......That is toooooo cool about the prom queen!!! Woohooo!!!! Awesome!

I decided that I also have to stop at Lowe's and look at paint for the dining room. Maybe this week I will start that project. I still have to rip the carpet up in here too. As a matter of fact, I think I will take my dad with me later in the week and pick out the flooring that we are going to use too and maybe me and my dad can get this all done and Kevin won't have to get involved at all. Heck if I have to move everything out of this room, I might as well get everything done in one shot, right? I think I start it all right after Kevin comes home and leaves again in 2 weeks.....that will give me plenty of time to pick paint, curtains, light and floor.

Well got my workout done. Anything more is just icing on the cake. Tamilee kicks my butt everytime! I am telling you.....Terry....look for Tamilee Webb I want that body on ebay. These workouts are kickass!!!! Each segment is only 15 mins each, but man she does not stop and you feel it immediately!

I need a shower!

Good morning ladies! Hope everyone is having a great day so far. The boys are up and actually being good (knock on wood)! I think I am going to try and get outside and clean out my flower beds and see what damage I can do. It is supposed to be in the HIGH 80's but windy! Oh well!

Jen: I updated girl! Not sure what I will do today, I may take the day off! Have fun with Mr. Garrett! Pick a pretty color for your dining room.

Terry: How cool about DD being picked prom queen! She looked awesome!

Lizzy: It is very nice that you will be able to send your nephew part of his gift now! To bad that they were outbid on their condo, oh well they will be happy just being together.

Good morning ladies! Trying to finally get over this nasty sickness...I worked out the one day and it was downhill from there. We took the boys to Museum of Natural History in NYC and I know I was running a fever on the way down, the meds kicked in after awhile, looks like they enjoyed it. I'll post some pics on myspace. The treadmill looks awesome but looks like I'll be trying it out next weekend, could barely breathe. Hope everyone has a great Sunday! ((HUGS)))

Terry~ YES!!! for DD being prom queen!! Even though it sounded hectic, I bet you loved being involved in her special day..I haven't see her pic yet.

Cheryl~ Hey girlie!! Thought about you yesterday and wishing I could wave a magic wand and zapping you guys to NYC yesterday.

Jen..there is a LOT of her tapes on ebay..some DVDs but a bunch of VHS for cheap!!! What other ones are good?? I saw abs of steel, buns, arms, tight on time, on and on....

Liz..it was worth it but I was sooo tired and glad it was finally over with! Good thing I have a few more years before we do it again...LOL!!!

Forgot to tell you girls...we got her hair done at a girl's shop that had cut it over Christmas (not our regular) and she had done such an awesome job until that is where she wanted to go back too...so we made the appnt for wash, cut and style. I do not EVEN want to tell you what the final bill was...I about freaked!! $60!!!!!! I was thinking $40 tops...I almost choked! That was all I paid for though--she had b/day money left over that she used for her nails and tan. I did buy her a silver purse and I bought her the necklace yesterday but I found them on sale!!! Got both for under $20!!! (I still haven't told DH exactly what the final total was for the night.....and we had some real bargains so I can only imagine what some of these girls are paying in h/s--SCARY!!!) As for the prom queen today..it was back to reality--she is in the sugar cane field pulling weeds by hand (with gloves of course trying to save the nails!) sweaty and muddy!!

Well took the fam to church this morning, DD didn't want to leave! She loves the nursery there, they have a TON of toys and the ladies who work in there are so nice. Then picked up Subway on the way home and then took DD out for a stomp in puddles in her new rainboots. Cutie! ) She's now fooling around in her bed upstairs and I'm going to go find a baseball game on tv to veg out in front of with my knitting. Hopefully we can all get a little rest and positivity today.
