Just a quicky for me. not sleeping great due to hubby buying a new bed. IT"S LIKE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR! My hip really doesn't like it but i'm going to fix it soon.

Went to Ft. Washita yesterday. It was a blast i'll be posting some photos on my flickr page later.

Today just cleaning house.

Girls, I am pooped! Ended up getting in the cane patch with the kids (sounds like something that would be fun--NOT)..I am blistered and beat! We have it weeded though and DS is finishing out the plowing between the rows and all the new growth is uncovered and the beds are cleaned out (you have to cut cane down in the fall and then strip the stalks down and the extra leaves go back over the bed to prevent it from getting killed by frost and freeze in the winter--a JOB!). Then I picked some turnips greens and rutabagors and have them cleaned and cooking..not to mention did most of the laundry and went to the produce stand. Got 2 pineapples! Cut one up a few minutes ago--OMG!!! Delish!!!

Hope everybody had a wonderful Sunday! Off to grab a quick shower before everybody else comes barrelling end wanting the tub.

Hello everyone,
had a couple of fool's errands today looking @ stuff for mom and looking for additional stores that had flatouts.( no sucess for either) had a craving for cold stone creamery for the past 2 wks and finally succumbed. I tried to reason about doing a pudding blizzard, but ended up there. will do some more strider as a result. Of course went up to ex's for a few hrs and he zonked out on me for most of it. Looked like he needed it so didnt disturb him until I was ready to leave.
Getting to be WW III @ my sister's, its getting so bad now mom is reneging to pay a portion of the rehearsal dinner. Wish I could help my sis, but w/ the kids needing some $$ early plus soon ordering the rental car. cant do that amount. I told her I'll spring for mom's day since their are both moms, that falls the day after the wedding. I can see both sides of their arguements to me and both have their merits. I just agree w/ what the other is telling me for the moment.ok enough of my venting

Cheryl hope the yard work went well, I cant even think about flower boxes yet. I did however packed away my shovel,boots and ice melt.

as far as i know not a part of the party, but there are only 6 of us family for my nephew for his side, have a feeling maybe in the introductions for the reception( secretly I hope not) there's his brother,mother, my mother, my cousin, her son and me for his side of the family
Terry - ugh about the sugar cane, hope the gloves helped w/ the manicure, I have long nails and they always poke thru. yipes about the hair cost

April ugh about the bed, @ my moms she recently changed sleeper couches, I just couldnt stand sleeping on it( the other was just fine) I gotta see if I can find a thin feather bed so I can fold up the bed w/ it.

alrighty need to finish up my water and get that extra exercise in. I have grilled chix and veggies for the rest of the week.

Lizzy, sorry to hear about your family stress today. I hope you can get some good rest - maybe screen your calls for a day or two and get a break from the situation? Yep, I'm a Jays fan...and a Twins fan. Twins fan by "birth", it's the team I grew up with, but the Jays are our family team since they're closest (and have some good players this year). We want to bring DD up as a baseball fan so the Jays make sense for us. I watched that game this afternoon, sorry to say it but that was a sweet grand slam by Frank Thomas!! Manny's hair is getting really long!! I think the Jays swept them this weekend.
