Okay..first hurdle is down and over with...the spray tan is amazing!!!! I have to say I am very pleased at this point...hopefully, I will stay that way. $25 for the session which took about 25 min. It was an older lady that did it and she really really took great pains in her work. She made sure she did not overdue the tan and it looks very even. DD had on her underwear only and she has definite tan lines developing. The lady said it usually lasts for about 10-14 days before it lightens up. She suggest getting 2 sessions within 10 days and then having touch-ups done every 10-14 days throughout the summer...only downfall is it is $25 a pop. Can get extremely expensive!!! I was basically asking for me since DD will be golden by the end of May more than likely. I just thought it would be so much better than the tanning bed for me or the home tanning lotions. Going to think on it!

Allison--I think she will be able to go panty-hose free!!!

Got 1 hour and then back in the road for more fun and excitement!!

Oh and her mood has improved dramatically..I think she was just stressing early over how the tan would turn out..hell, I know I was!!!

Cheryl...great job getting the work-outs in!!!
Allison..crazy about overtime but closing down...weird!
Jen..I saw the 10 minute stability ball work out on ebay...I was wondering if you knew about it.
Lizzy..glad laudromat was event free--I hated using one when the washer died--they are sooo expensive now too! Are you driving to Florida for the wedding? Have you tried Greyhound--I know I can go to Jackson this summer for $49/one way if my parents decide not to drive out...sure can't drive for that!!!!

Well got a workout done and am happy about that.

Allison.....I hope hubby is able to find something relatively close to home. That is why Kevin works the job he does...the place he worked at 11 years ago laid him off and he found this job. It kills him that he is not home to coach baseball.

Cheryl.....LOL at dragging kids around. I swear that is why Garrett walks so fast too!!! Good job on your workout yesterday. I have 2 $50 gift cards sitting here...1 for Macy's and 1 for Fashion Bug and I swear I am not using them until I am close to goal.....even then guess what? If the clothes fit me, I am wearing them I do not care if it is something an 18 y/o would wear or not! hehehe

Terry.....thats cool about the spray tan. Kevin gets jealous of how tan I get.

Jen: I guess that is how I should approach buying new clothes. I have to break my arm and pat myself on the back, I'm sure I would look better in thos e clothes than most of the 18 y.o. down here. No muffin top here, but then again I guess that is the style, sorry not this girl, that's why I am doing all my crunches so I don't have the muffin top. LOL!

Terry: did the lady say whether or not they do boys? Ok don't think I am weird but, Ian is extremely white and has expressed his desire to have a tan. That is the only way the poor guy would tan. I bought a can of the coppertone spray tan but have never used it? Just curious! I am glad that Kimberly has gotten in a better mood. Have a great day.

Off to find some lunch for me and these bottomless pits I call sons!

Happy Saturday girls!

We took an epic trip to Walmart this morning!! I can't believe I went on a Saturday! But, I got DD's raincoat and spring coat and rain boots (which she had to hold the whole way through the store, put on as soon as they were paid for and then stomp in puddles for half an hour as soon as we got home!! ), and the yarn for an afghan for my pregnant friend...I got the Red Heart Worsted in the big huge balls, it takes a TON of yarn but it will be really beautiful when it's done. It was a lot more affordable this way. I started out wanting to make a shawl for her to wrap up in when she's up at night with the new baby but then it graduated to this afghan because a) I couldn't find a shawl pattern I liked for her and b) it's kind of an "all the family" present, instead of just something for the baby, which I liked.

So anyway, that's life here today, a pretty good morning really. Lovely spring weather too! Now DD is fooling around up in her crib, DH is cranky (as usual) and sulking on the couch and I'm off to change over the laundry and figure out how not to let DH get to me!!

Later gators!

Terry ~ GL to DD tonight - I'm sure it will be a very special night that she will remember for a long long time! And you too! Deep breaths as you get her ready!

Back from my trip to Walmart. What a nice one it is! Very clean, but then again it has only been open for a couple of weeks. Another nice thing about this one.....NO MCDONALDS!!! They have Subway!!! Love it!
And I did have a find there that I hadn't seen before.....Fiber One now has muffin mix! I bought apple cinnamon. I'll probably make it at some time this week for a review. OH and another one.....Michelina's frozen pizza rolls. 4 pts for the serving. The kids are alllllllways eating those and I feel like I am missing out. I haven't made them in a few months for the kids because I know I will pick at them, so now I can have my own!

Oh speaking of clothing...I did buy a couple of things online last week that came today. I wish they would have come 2 days ago!!!!!! Ahem...they aren't exactly outerwear though. hehehe

Cheryl......exactly! you would look better in some of those styles than the kids that think running around with a roll hanging out looks. I hate that!!!!

Sarah.....Don't let DH get to you. Just go about doing your thing and ignore him.

Oh well.....I am going to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Probably crochet too.

Hello everyone,
weather cleared up @ mom's so raced down there. Got over 2 1/2 hrs of hard yard work in, was sweating so much, switched over to something of mom's to finish. I dont have any clothes down there. Could have done more but knee was starting to bother me so didnt want to wreck it w/ 3 more trips up the hill w/leaves. but did get a lot done.I had bought a push reel mower and was trying to cut down some of mom's beach grass not easy on uneven terrain but got partially down, was really drenched then.
Had bought some new blankets mom wanted down and brought back her bed spreads to wash. She didnt thiink they would fit in her's for some reason. They would but offered to wash on the laudromats biggest load washers. did have a sausage sub and fries but really worked my butt off, plus had a fairly low breakfast and now a healthy choice panini for supper( not as good as the LC)

Terry- please share pixs when you have a chance, cant wait to see her in the dress.
Allison- hope the events were fun. Fingers crossed for DH
Cheryl- great job w/ the walking, I wish I could have walked the bike trail near mom's after the yard work but was going to definitely ask for trouble w/ the knee
Sarah- looks like lots went to wally world. I went to a regular one yesterday and super one today for groceries.I was surprised they didnt have any spring jackets, think they are pushing summer clothes already. how cute that DD wanted to test drive the boots immediately
Jen- all our wallys up here switched over to subway over a yr ago. whoo hoo. bummer though wally's were out of our favorite wraps AGAIN. I think a lot of people like them there's one other place I'm going to try, it's out of the way so we'll see. did some more crochet on a yellow baby blanket that I'll donate during the holidays.

alrighty need to go and relax and finish my water up. Of course mom wanted even more stuff after I went to bed bath and beyond yesterday. oh well will look around tomorrow

take care everyone
Lizzy

Well I am officially poooped out for today!!! I am home and in my pj's..looks like DS is going to pick up from dance @ 10..WOO HOO!! He was heading into town anyway to hang out with friends and offered so I surely was more than happy to give up that job. Just finished posting my on-line album so you girls know pics are coming at ya. Only thing I worried about is b/f only wore a pull over polo shirt and most of the boys had on button up dress shirts with ties and some even had on suits after they had told DD they weren't doing the shirt and tie deal this year (guess their parents had a different idea I just didn't want him to be upset about what he had on. He is very shy as it is so I am a little worried about how he is getting along with all her friends...you know kids--young and dumb and don't pay attention to other people's feelings like they should! There was one boy though that isn't in class either that wore a western type shirt with a PBR baseball cap, tight pants and cowboy boots...guess everybody has their own fashion statement to make ! The drop-in was really very nice but I felt way out of place so I make a very quick and quiet exit after I got some pics ...this is the ritzy crowd and not quite sure how DD got in with this crowd to begin with but way out of our league. Now I am going to chill out finally and just relax for a little while. Got be ready to talk when 10:30 or so rolls around..gotta find out all the juicy gossip

P. S. DD's b/f lives and goes to school 45 min from where she does so he has never met or been around any of her friends before!
