Re: TGIF,March 14
Terry ~ OMG!! What is it with me and saying stupid things to you??? I am SOOOOOO embarrassed, again!! I think for a while, I'm just going to say hello and that is IT!!!
Em ~ I wonder what power company your DH was working for? I'm glad you liked your time up here...Oshawa is certainly not the most exciting place on earth hehe I hope you got to go into Toronto a bit!
Lizzy ~ Maybe you'll start to feel better as you adjust to your new meds? I hope so. Not sleeping properly could make you feel crappy on its own, too...I'll be thinking about you.
Sue ~ Wow, Little Mr. Man! I understand how you feel but I'm glad it's worked out so well too. I know a lot of moms in my area from working at the Early Years Centre but it's pretty ....suburban around here so there are the values that go along with that. And that's ok. I make my own parenting decisions just like everyone else does. As long as people don't get too judgmental it's all good. And you know, I like living where I do. We chose to live out here, and we got good housing value, and it's a way better life than I sure thought I'd ever have. Sometimes I need to remind myself of that.
Well I had an email from my dad tonight, I don't think he's too happy about being given DH's work address but that's just tough. I didn't say anything about it. As much as I want everything to be nicey nicey, I'm not going to devote too much mental energy to this situation, considering the history. We'll see if the Easter basket makes it up here or not. In the meantime there is some stuff going on with my grandparents (who raised me, and are my "mum and dad" and so get priority) so I'm going to focus on that, and DD's teething and whiney-ness.
I must admit I never pay attention to what milk costs. I figure, I have to buy it, and I'm not going to go without healthy, yummy food, so I just pay for it. As for gas I think it's around $1.06.5 per litre, but I haven't been near a gas station today. That would be.....let's see....a litre is about the same as a quart, 4 quarts to the gallon, $1.06 times 4 = $4.25 per gallon and the exchange rate is about even right now so that's about the true cost.
I know I'm forgetting someone I wanted to reply to so I'm sending out an apology, I'm super tired and talking too much again!
So nighty night girls!
