Morning flying by again! The bookfair is over thank goodness! Just have to go to school today and wrap things up! Did great yesterday about 4500.!! So that brings the whole total up to about 7000.00 for the week! I wanted to do better than the fall fair and I think I just may have done it! Yeah me! LOL! I'm so competitive! LOL!
So I'll be scarce again this weekend. Got that family coming in tonight and still have to mop!

Ok, the island fever is REALLY getting to me!!!!!!!!!! Mike is leaving again today for the mainland house...I'm actually starting to resent the fact that he gets to go over, that is so not right of me, it's not like he enjoys it, he's over there working his ass off, and if we could afford it, I know he wouldn't care if I flew over too. I'm panicking so bad cuz I have NOTHING for the kids easter baskets!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have him pick stuff up, but he won't do it like I will and I just have so much fun with easter. I know, quit bitching. The temps are fairly warm, but we need a good wind to get rid of this ice, and it's not in the forcast....send me wind vibes girls!

Ok, enough of my rant...I just got done steam cleaning the carpet, cooper likes to gag at EVERYTHING he sees or smells, and yesterday he actually barfed something up and it was red (skittles!) (sorry, way TMI) and stained the lovely light blue carpet that runs thru this house! So mike was whining at me about the stain, cripe, can't anyone else in this house do anything besides complain to me that things arn't done???????????????????

Hey! Never made it on yesterday, but from the looks of things it was a quiet day around here. Jason picked up my computer last night from Best Buy. Yee HAW! I was out with the girls from the neighborhood. Once again there was a small group of us that went. I guess people are busy all over not just in cyber land. Not much on tap for this weekend. Definitely will need to get to the grocery store! Hoping I can scrounge something up for dinner so I can put it off until tomorrow.

Terry~ I hear you with Easter - it has caught me off gaurd. It is early this year and then being in PA and having snow on the ground has nt made it feel like it should be Easter next week. There's not even a daffodil peeking its little head thru the ground yet - nothing! You can't have Easter in the wintertime! What do we wear????

Hey all, tired this morning...whew.
Spent the entire day yesterday at the zoo. A LOT of walking. My legs are fried. It was fun though. The kids all said that it was the best day of their whole break. At one point we had 11 kids with us, lol.

Today is the day I get my taxes done. It must get done. Dh is taking the day off to spend some "quality" time with Ds...we'll see how that goes. Yikes. I'm kicking them out of the house though, because I've got to work all darned day. The plumbing gets taken care of tomorrow, so we'll be without water tomorrow. I'm going to take ds to a movie (Horton Hears a Who) and out for some Chinese food. It's been a long time since we did something like that. Dh will stay home and learn all about plumbing. I can't wait to get all the drywall off in the master bath and start putting things back together. I've been treating the mold slowly but surely, and it's smelling less and less strong, but I'm hoping we can just take that wall frame out and put in some new framing...just to be on the safe side.

Jen-you sound like you need a hug baby. Hang in there, Kevin will be home soon.

Sarah-I think you did the right thing. If he's truly on the right path here, he'll understand why you're being a bit guarded. If he doesn't, then he's not done the work he needs to do to be involved in your life. It will happen the way YOU want it to happen, or it won't happen at all. Just remember, it's his job to do the work, and it's your decision how it's going to proceed.

Checking in from work...wow at least there are some bodies on here today!! It was a ghost town yesterday!! I was just so darn busy at work, etc.

Em..I will send you a purple azalea if you want????? Our dogwood is fixing to bloom...I love dogwoods!!!!! We needed to have fixed our grapevines over the winter but didn't find time..now too late...they are just running all over the freaking ground. I am po'd on that one!!! I wanted them up and on a fence by spring..DH just says "it wasn't a long enough winter"..bad part is he is right!!!

Nikki..bless your heart!!! I feel so for you being stuck on the island. I will do your Easter shopping and fed ex it to you if you just tell me what to do!!!! I haven't gotten anything for either of mine yet either...I am thinking of just gifts this year..too old for the basket thingy anymore!

Xan...ugggg on being so early today..that is crazy...do you not just send them with the kids??? Ours get sent home by kids unless you specifically request to pick up or have it mailed. Oh--they started something new at the h/s..it is an automated phone system thing that calls parents 1-2 days before to announce report cards, progress reports, open house, etc. SO COOL!!!! Never have any trouble out of DD announcing she has her's but well we all know how DS is about school right now!!!

I have been checking on some core recipes--I found a site on-line with some awesome sounding ones using ground beef..have to try to post a few of them later.

Well some of my stresses are now over....with minor new ones to start.

They laid me off!!!!!!!!

I am happy about it though. Probably the best thing. I can collect unemployment and take my time looking for a new job. On top of that, I will also look into taking that course in medical terminology and I am almost positive that the state will pay for it if you have been in unemployment for x amount of weeks.

I had a feeling it was going to happen but wasn't sure if it was just because I wanted out so much or what. LOL

I was told that since they have to downsize administration because of them getting rid of 2 of the bigger stores, I have let things go between the cracks and I am the low man on the totem pole.

Sooooo now I will just take my time looking for a job. I figure while Kevin is working I can do just that.
