Jen..EXACTLY on the willpower...we are talking about deep fried crap that makes your mouth totally water. And lots of fries and stuff to munch on while everybody is standing around chatting. I did peek at the plate DD brought DS home last night..YIKES--greasy rice with ham and chicken in it (perlieu) and string beans with huge chunks of fatback cut up in it. SOOO glad I made my decision to stay away last night.

Oh..found out in an email just now I am running the concession stand at the saddle club Sat for a show..dang it all!!! Now I have to deal with that red flag!!! Gotta get a plan in gear for that one...hard to stand in there with all that food and not nibble. Wish they would put me somewhere else to work for once but for some reason I always get stuck in there. May email another member today and suggest switching me up a little and see what happens. Since I am not on any particular committee, I just kinda get stuck where they put me.

Nikki...DH was the only one to eat here last night and HE LOVED THE SWEET POTATOES!!! He took all the leftovers for lunch today!!!

Ok, here are my Idol predictions....David Hernandez and Kristie Lee Cook are going home tonight. I thought they all did great except for these two, I felt so bad for the that David at the end when he forgot his lyrics, but I think he'll be ok anyway, he's awesome. I liked the fact that paula was a little more honest.

My walk was great yesterday...I DID NOT want to go, but I forced myself and had a really high intensity walk. Food was great too. I've got knitting group this afternoon, so I really have to plan out my day workout and food wise.

Ok, Cooper is screaming for breakfast, be back!

Terry......I soooo hear you. And as for concession stand, I have May 17th & 24th at the baseball field. They make you sign up for it as soon as you register the kids.....it would help if we knew the kids schedule first....especially since Blair and Jess both have travel games and Devan no longer plays at the little league field, he is over at the HS field...but he travels too. Garrett is the only one that stays only at the home field. There are no other jobs to do at the field during baseball since they don't do 50/50 anymore. But you are usually so busy that there is no time to munch on anything.

Busy day ahead today as usual. Got the bookfair (thank god it's over tomorrow!) have Holly's parent conference and then home to mop the floors for the weekend company. I really wish they weren't coming. don't know if anyone is staying with us yet but need to straighten out a few things and buy some toiletries for the bathroom. Did I mention I wish they weren't coming? LOL! Mom is back and she is going to take Chy to school today and watch Holly if she is still not feeling well. The weirdest thing she is fine after the initial upset tummy and vomitting? She was ok all day long yesterday? Hope she is up to going to school today! Let's see what else is new?
Loved Idol last night. I think that David and Remeille (however it's spelled) will go tonight. Christy was pretty bad too. That song was way to fast for her singing! LOL! Loved the dread dude, looks like my cousin!

Well I went to the chiro and she didn't make any adjustments at all based on what I told her. She called immediately for xrays. I do them tomorrow morning and go back to her with the copies tomorrow afternoon. I hope they show something so I can start doing whatever it is that will make me feel better!
We have a budget meeting today that is mandatory for committee members, so I'll be missing WI. I really wanted to go because I just want to get it over with. I have made good choices for one day and breakfast today, but it was going to be ugly. I guess I got a reprieve.
Ok, gonna buy power ball tickets on my break, Jen! Oh, and Terry our Spring Break starts on Good Friday and goes to the 30th. Then the kids are here for the 31st and out again on the 1st for Inservice! Who ever made this God forsaken schedule needs a labotomy (sp?)

Barb: I agree that Ramielle wasn't great, but she sings well. Glad Holly is the least bit better! Have fun book fairing!!

Good morning ladies. Today I am waiting for the fireplace guy. This has been a whole week of waiting for repair/delivery/service people. I think Friday is the only day we don't have something like that planned. Luckily, I am on Spring Break this week. I am totally loving this new place. I am about 2/3 of the way unpacked (I don't mess around). Now I am down to the hubby packed boxes.....which are pretty scary. The last box that he marked kitchen was filled with dog toys....a knife block....some bathroom stuff and a book. Why bother marking the box? Men!

Anyway, it feels good to be back in control of my food again. I have been loving cooking in my new kitchen. I actually think even with all of the stress, etc. that I am doing okay with my weight. I was worried that I was going to have to pay this week (or not weigh in)....but things are looking good. Now that life is somewhat back to normal, I think that I am going to start working on that last 7-9 lbs that would bring to exactly half of my starting weight. I think that would be fun.

Well I am back from taking Jess to the Dr.
She doesn't have an ear infection....there is some fluid there. We are going to watch and see if it turns to an infection or actually clears up on its own. Fingers crossed!!!!

Speaking of cleaning, that is what i have planned for when I get home today. My inlaws are coming over tomorrow evening for a while.

Jen..good news that Jess doesn't have infection but still bad on the fluid build up..been there and done that...you know they put tubes in my mom's ears a month or so ago...funny!!! I think one of my kids has peridontal--would they give you that with braces...seems like maybe DS had to have prescription rinse when he got his..goes to show how often I filled it

Xan..our school has a screwed up calendar this year toooo...not sure what the deal is???

Lorena..I was LOL on the kitchen box...that would be my DH too!!! We cleaned out his shop a few weeks ago and he found stuff he had lost 15 years ago...geeezzzzz..he is like a kid with a new toy now.

I am hungry this morning for some reason...my stomach keeps growling but I have no snack foods with me so hanging tough until lunchtime. I was hoping to hold off until around 1 but I may have to eat earlier. My afternoons seem to go better if I eat as late as possible for lunch and then I don't snack any between that and supper.

Oh yeah Lizzy...weird Ebay deal..sold something and went to ship it and there is a caution message.. the address is not correct or has been changed or deleted..contact seller immediately for details.. well, I contacted them on Sunday night to see about which way they preferred it be shipped (I had offered 2 forms) and no response, so I have emailed again and still no response..this is weird I guess I just wait it out for now..I mean heck, she is out of her money right now but I don't want it to reflect bad on me and my rating on there

Decided to walk when Mike came home for lunch since I have knitting from 3-5...awesome walk!!!! I kicked booty! anyway, mike and cooper are fast asleep on the couch, i suppose i should wake him and tell him it's time to go back to work, but ya know, he's the only employee right now and the guy NEVER takes a break. Ok, off to eat lunch!
