Hello everyone,
had a bit of a better night. No headaches. but the plumbing was making weird sounds, so thought sure was going to have another plumbing back up. But so far so good. Did wake up a few times to the sound. Of course ex had some free time yesterday and wanted to take me up on my eating out offer, of course was feeling ragged again after the game so just couldn't do it.
No exercise yesterday and water just wasn't good, just couldnt get it or crystal lt down. WI was the same yesterday. Hopefully need to bulk up on water today.

On tap is laundry. Maybe going out to eat today we'll see

Morning Lizzy Glad you got some sleep last night and you know we all have bad days you just have to keep holding your head up even during those times and never give up. You can do this thing!

As for me I thought I had the day to myself but it seems the DH is going to be home! BAH! haha I never get anything accomplished when he's around!

Morning everyone, Slept really good considering Cooper was up with me two seconds after I shut off the light...that's ok, for some reason I was glad to see him.

Suns out today, snow is done, thank goodness....looks pretty outside, but I'm doubting I can get out of my driveway, I think someone plowed it, but I have to go out and dig out the truck and a path to the house. Mike isn't coming home today, that's alright, it was time for a little away time, heehee.

Didn't get a workout in yesterday, but food went great, so I feel successful.

Ok, this time change has me all mixed up!

Morning girls..did you remember to set your clocks last night...I did!!! I was in total shock that I actually remembered..LOL!!!

Not much going on here..wind has calmed down to a breeze but it dropped to 25 last night...I know my flowers, trees, fruits have had it now...it was a hard frost..looked like snow!! I noticed yesterday my azaleas had flower buds...some of the ones closest to the house were only a day or 2 from flowering..bummer!!!!

Lizzy..glad you slept better last night! Bummer on dinner yesterday.
April..I totally know the feeling that you can't get anything accomplished when DH is home..same here!!!
Lori..I got in my Horses for Dummies book...interesting!!! There are still a lot of stuff that I am clueless about and get that "stupid feeling" for asking DH so I am going to read this book secretly.

Good Morning Ladies.

It felt good to sleep a little later this morning....although it really wasn't that much later because of spring ahead. hehe

There isn't that much on tap for today. Jess' dad is bringing her the whole way up and to softball practice...I have to meet them there with all of her stuff. I do want to run to the store to get fruit...but want to take Jess. She has been getting on the elliptical too, and I want to really start stressing to her the importance of a balanced meal if she is going to exercise too. I always have told them about it, but it seems like she is in a mode where she is being watchful of herself.

I had a battle last night with munchies. I hit some chocolate and started to see myself losing the battle so I quick grabbed a whole grain bagel and 2 tsp of nutella to curb that. It worked....but I was over in points. Thats alright though, I haven't used any of my flexies and hardly any of my A/P's this week.

We got nothing in the snow department! about 1 inch. In a way I am glad. LOL

Lizzy...I hope your plumbing stays working good. Glad you slept better.

MY COLLARD KRAUT IS READY!!!! Now I have to get it canned...ugggg! Not what I was really wanting to do today??? Oh well..price I pay for making the blame stuff. Look in cabinet for jars and have only a few jars for the lids I have and no lids for the jars I have...just my freaking luck!

I posted on the menu thread that I am going with core for a few weeks and see what happens. Found my book and going to read back up on it while I am waiting on the kraut to get hot and ready to pack.

Hello again everyone,
trying to get that water in almost have 32 so far. Got my errands done. Actually went to the post office to weigh some books and mags that I want to put next on ebay. my last auction ended yesterday & it was a customer I had before, wish there was a bidding war, but hey any $$ is a good thing. Starving @ the moment even though I had a wt watchers bagel and peanut butter. Going to wait a little bit then go out to eat, and get back in time for NASCAR. Beef stew is in the crockpot for the week

Nikki ugh about the snow. If our rain had been snow we would have been socked close to 2 ft.
Terry- I actually remembered to turn the clocks back last night/ gl canning mom gave away a lot of her canning stuff last year, she got rid of a lot of stuff actually. she should have held a yard sale and made some $$. we have your wind today
Jen- cool that Jess wants to eat healthy. hey you had back up pts w/ the ap's and the flexies. I saw potting soil getting put up for sale @ my dollar store. not on display yet. will try to go back later this week, need lots went I do my tomatoes in pots.

alrighty need to get some strider in should be able to do it while watching nascar unless ex wants to come over.

Okay...so one bucket of kraut isn't enough...DS is going off to college and wants his own stash..LOL!!! I think DH is going to start another bucket today and it will be ready in about 2 weeks...gotta make sure I get my jars/lids in order by that time. Got the first batch of jars in the boiling bath now...got another batch after this. At least it won't tie up too much of my day.

Lizzy...wow on your mom's canning stuff...did she have a pressure canning pot..those things go for big money around here! Your post office is open on Sun??? Ours is closed on Wed afternoons, Sat @ noon and closed on Sun..makes for a bad deal for me since that is basically the only time I can get to "our" p.o...we get mail at home but still need to make a run sometimes for postage, etc. Yeah on your ebay sales...DD has only 1 item for sale right now and no watchers, etc. She has spent every dime she has made on there as of Friday but has some really good buys--lots of horse stuff and cheap.

Off to can some more...

Terry- trying to think, don't think she did, lots and lots of jars though. She used to make her own beach plum jelly, and various relishes.
Our post office has a 24 hr lobby that has the self mailing station, it has a scale and will print out postage for packages plus sell stamps. That way I can do a late night or early morning run.

well hadnt heard from ex, so going for subway, thinking the sweet onion chix, that we were talking about havent had one in a long while, it's the start of my week so if we do go to the restaurant will have my flexies(cheese cake factory- yup i'll need them)

Got the kraut up and DH is starting on the next bucket..at least they are doing it outside today..LOL! It makes such a freaking mess!!!

Lizzy..so cool about the mailing station..wish we had something like that!!! Haven't ever tackled jelly but I have made fig preserves before--didn't turn out very well so haven't attempted it again .

Just realized that DS has a class meeting this afternoon..had my dates wrong..ugggg...he is texting to see if he can just skip it..all they want is the final payment on the trip anyway and to argue back and forth about stupid crap..I can do the payment this week
