Anna~ Are those Cookies still sealed??? FYI - Rutabaga can be rather bitter and not good at all if not cooked right. I think you were right on Old Town Mex Cafe - the other is Casa Guadalajara - the food is good but their tortillas were excellent!

DS called me from home and seems the computer is up and doing great again...keeping fingers crossed...neither of them feel any better so I am off to run 3 errands and cut by the school and pick up his graduation stuff that had to be paid for and picked up today!!! hey girls. at work-checking in.
soooo-girl scout cookie update. i took them home and never touched them.
when i woke up this morning there were 2 boxes opened-tagalongs and lemon cremes. i took a tagalong out-took a tiny bite and wrapped it up. i will take a bite tomorrow. end of story

i got home so late from work last night and did not feel like cooking-so we had jack in the box, i had a grilled chicken salad and 1 taco. i went to bed with 1 point to spare-was quite proud of myself. if only i can keep this up.
i can right? see after 3 days of eating like this i feel good-and i wish i could bottle this feeling...because honestly saturday when i was mowing through chili cheese fries and washing them down with a captain crunch shake-i know i truly did feel like hell. i need to get to the bottom of this self sabotage stuff. and i somehow someway need to get rid of this food worshipping gig. it's only food-and i hate that i make it such an important part of my life.

ok...11 calls to return and the phone won't quit ringing. SERENITY NOW!

Ok, here's an update of sorts. Billy has to see a neurologist and have an MRI done of his neck and head. He had the CT scan, but they need to check for nerve damage. According to our reg doc the break in the c-5 vertebrae is not causing him any problems. It's location is pretty clear and it's not moving and hitting anything when he moves his head. So, no more neck brace. He is so glad. The intermittent numbness, imbalance, and nausea are still intermittent. The doc doesn't think it's vertigo (basically our ER sucks!) because he has NO infections and their is no fluid showing up on the tests. He is sure it's some type of nerve damage. Billy is getting more balance and his pains are getting weaker. Things are looking better, but I will be glad when we see the neuro just to make sure things are fine. What happened Sunday was not normal.
It made me not hate his guts any more so I guess things are better all around!! LOL I'll BBL for some personals and to catch up with y'all.

Xan....glad you aren't hating his guts and things are looking up for the hubby! LOL How are YOU through all of this?

Anna.....you can do this. You are doing it. I haven't even checked my voice mail...too much crap to sift through on my desk first.

Well....my stomach is flipping again. I don't know it is because I ate some soup or what. My eating was not great yesterday......it wasn't THAT bad either. I figured whatever I could keep in was going to be eaten....needless to say alot of bread.
I am not sure if I am going to workout tonight or not. Truly debating it. I might do the stability ball later. There is a cool workout that I follow along on my laptop that is on sparkpeople...so i have been doing that.

Xan~ So glad to hear that things are better - mostly that you don't hate Billy anymore. It is always a good thing when you don't hate your DH. When do you go to neurologist?

Jen~ Did you see that Myron Cope died? If it is anything liek when Bob O'Connnor died, I am sure it will be the only news we hear about for a few days. Hope your tummy is feeling better.

ohhhhhh yes I have heard he died. I don't think it will be as bad as when O'Connor died...only because remember he was hospitalized for a bit before he died. That was sad though, I have to say. He lived in the same area I lived.
Tummy not feeling better. I am eating a bagel as I type. I should never have eaten that soup.
