So, I was thinking about this during my long commute this morning and then looking at the posts today, looks like we all need a boost, so thought I would share.
I am really, REALLY bad at negative self talk. It's very easy for me to think wonderful things about all of you, but it's hard for me to think positive things about me. So I'm going to try and make a list of good things that I like about me that I can refer to when I'm feeling "not good enough".
Since it's so easy for me to think positive thoughts about you all, let me get you started on your list of positives:
Jen - well honey, you are wonder woman to me. Not only do you manage a house full of kids, a husband who is gone more than he's home, but you've handled so many tough situations in your life and you don't ever let it get you down. Your "can do" attitude is a constant source of inspiration to me!
Lizzy - I admire your tenacity in dealing with all the things that come your way. Seems like it's always one thing after another...yet you keep on plugging. Plus the depth of your caring where your mom is concerned is so admirable.
Beeb - you are such an incredible mom and sister! I wish you were my sister
Terry - you are the queen of all things horsey to me. I love your humor and no nonsense approach to life in general. Plus, I am sooooo proud of you for all the exercise you've been getting in lately!
Allison - so proud of you for going back to school and juggling that along with home and kids...not an easy task. Plus, you manage to stay fit and beautiful through it all.
Nik - what can i say? you are truly a woman of many talents. I think you've had some enormous hurdles in your life that you always take on the chin and keep on pluggin. Plus, the additional challenge of living in a very isolated area..wow! I also think you are a fabulous photographer.
Cheryl - all i can say is, so proud of you for your weight loss and sticking to it. You are an inspiration daily when I look at your ticker.
Xan - I love your sense of humor and that you, like me, continue to keep on fighting the battle. We WILL get this under control!
Em & Liz - I love that you both were so supportive of me last year when I needed some one on one encouragement, and that you didn't give up on me when the world blew up from July-Sept and I had to find a new job and give up the one I loved. Thank you for sticking by me.
Anna - you make me chuckle every day when you post! The cheese sandwich was the best

Hugs...
Oh dear, I'm certain I'm forgetting someone that I admire...I may have to add to the list later. So there you go...there's a start on each of your positive self talk lists, because you know that at least one person out there (ME!) thinks you're awesome!
