Jen - I've got a 2001 Expedition, we've had it for 3 years now, but we got a great price on it, it had really low mileage, and we were able to pay it off right away. And truthfully, with the gas prices the way they were, no one wanted it. I bet you could get a great deal on a couple year old SUV at this point. I absolutely love it, I think once we move to the mainland though, we may just park it and use it for family trips and pulling the camper and get something smaller and a little more fuel efficient, just to run around town with.

Good Morning girls! Well, I didn't eat at the party yesterday but I got munchy when I got home. I stuck with good food though..veggie burger, oatmeal, and popcorn. I actually was under points at the end of the night...So, back on track! It's funny we are all talking about carpet around here..My DH ripped out our carpet a few weeks ago and then after he pulled up the base boards and nails he laid peices of carpet back down so we wouldn't be on concrete..thank gosh he did because here we are still waiting on somebody to put our Pergo down! If it's not one project, it's another! lol
It's pretty chilly here this morning..on the agenda for today is the gym, homework, and maybe Mickey D's so Tyler can play..Have a nice day ladies!

Nikki- I think it was about 3 am when I heard little feet come pitter pattering across the kitchen floor to my bedroom! Dad always walks him back to his room and ends up sleeping with him in his room!

Quick check in...all but 1 in the house has arose...I was so enjoying the quiet...oh well...now we have 2 tv's blaring, washing machine going and clanking dishes and forks...the life of a wife and mother..geeeezzz! The rain is still coming down and it is soooo dreary looking..nice day for a holiday..NOT!!! Oh well, I take them anyway they come...I love my holidays!!

I was pleased with the results from Daytona...would have loved to see Kasey finish in top 5 but hey top 10 is awesome start for the year...and I LOVE his car..especially since we are in the heart of budweiser/Jr country..LOVE IT LOVE!!!! Had a hard time following the different drivers yesterday with new sponsors, car colors, etc but I guess I will get use to it! In the meantime, glad to see Dodge team pull off the victory!!

Terry, much as I love you I think we'd fight in the stands at a NASCAR event! LOL I was not as pleased with the finish at all. I like Ryan Newman, but I really thought Jr had a shot at it until his teammates decided to take a Sunday stroll and not help him! LOL I was just soooo damn glad it was Kurt Busch that won!!!! I can't stand his cocky attitude. LOL
Well my birthday pretty much sucked. I am so used to doing something. We went to lunch and then came home and sat in two different rooms watching the same thing on two different tv's. He got me NOTHING for my bday. I guess the roses for V Day were supposed to suffice. I am sure that he is sure now how freaking wrong he was about that! LOL It wouldn't have been a big deal if he'd even gotten a me a card, but NOTHING?! I sent him to a Dallas Cowboys game, bought him a new pair of Nikes, and some clothes. I am not tit for tat but I really think that shows just how important I am to him on the grand scale of things.
Anyway enough bitching! LOL Today we have no school but I have to take the kids to the dr for checkups after their illnesses. We didn't get their antibiotics quite finished so I am sure I'll hear about it. Tonight we have bb practice. Nothing major.
Jen: Have you looked at Nissan Armadas? My friend has a nice one that she bought used (couldn't have been long) with very low mileage for cheap. They are usually high end. She got hers with 3 seats, sunroof, GPS, and a screen that lets you see behind you when you are backing up all for the price of standard. Yukons are very nice too
Nikki: I am trying to picture your little body trying to see over the steering wheel and hood of this big Expedition! I hope you have a Cooper free night tonight!!! LOL

She had certain things she had to get done that day just like she would have her job. She said it made it easier when she went all checklist on herself! LOL I am going to try it!

Good morning Angels! Hope everyone has a great day today! Not a lot in store for today. I have got laundry and house goddess duties today! The whole family is here today, DH is off, and so are the boys, I so see a walk for Cheryl time in the near future! DS #1 has been up since 5 a.m. I went back to sleep and let him stay up. Aren't I awful? NOT!!!! DH is STILL asleep, how do they do that? OH well!!!

Lizzy: so glad you are back in your bare feet! Have fun putting everything back in its place. Little sad that Jr. or Stewart didn't win yesterday but oh well, there's always the next one. I can't believe it has been 7 yrs. since Dale Sr. passed. DH said they had a really emotional pre race song by Brooks & Dunn! Have a great day!

I ate at Quiznos once and thought I was doing all the good with a salad and come to find out my salad was 19 pts., now mind you I get 20 a day and so I had water and green beans for dinner. I couldn't believe it. Anna told me there must have been a big ol doughnut hidden below the lettuce. The salad was one of those flat bread ones but I didn't eat the bread, so I didn't really consume the entire 19 points but none the less. I was so upset that evening! But I just moved on. Way to be! Cheryl, we were at Chili's when that song came on!!! Not the best place to start bawling!!!!! It was very emotional! Honestly I don't know how Jr was able to race after hearing it!

Xan: you snuck in on me! I am sorry Billy didn't get you anything for your birthday. Maybe he will see the error of his ways and make up for it in the next couple of days. This is technically your birthday week so he has until Saturday to make up for it right? I say yes! I think I will pick up the Goodhousekeeping mag. That makes so much sense doesn't it? I can't either, James said he showed no emotion what so ever! Man! Years of practice for the camera! Don't you know he goes home and just bawls! I asked James if he had a tear well up in his eye and he admitted to it! See he has a heart! LOL!

Turns out girls I'm not quite home alone. My son had an upset stomach last night and so he's home in bed! Eh, he'll be better and i'll be glad to send him back lol. He's at that age you know the I'm a man not a boy but I still like to lay my head in your lap and take a nap! haha...... Oh you gotta love them! We'd all be in jail otherwise.

I've been scrubbing the livingroom and finishing some laundry. Fixing to head off to the kitchen.

I've been drinking lots of water!!! OMG I know I don't like water, but I bought some of that Crystal lite and well it's not so fruity that I feel like i'm trying to drink Koolaid so I can deal with it!
